Hi,
My name is Anishka Bagla and welcome to the Lotus Flower Meditation.
Through this meditation it will allow you to meet challenges and move forward in your life by realizing your divine power and humility.
This meditation also brings a lot of calmness to your mind and will help to ease your anxiety.
So let us begin.
Start with sitting comfortably however that is for you.
Keeping your spine straight,
Your arms relaxed and gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling your entire body expanding and through your mouth gently exhale out,
Letting go.
Inhale,
Expand your body,
Feeling every cell in your body energized.
Exhale,
Release.
Now start to breathe in and out of your nose only.
Just taking a few moments to allow yourself to connect with your breath,
To be completely present in this moment knowing that whenever your mind wanders you can come back to your breath and as you breathe allow your body to completely relax from your head all the way down to your toes and from your toes all the way up to your head.
You feel every part of your body,
All your muscles melting down towards the floor.
Feeling deep relaxation throughout your face.
Your shoulders start to go down towards the floor.
Every muscle along your spine melts down.
Your hips are completely relaxed.
Your thighs,
Your feet.
As you feel your body relaxed,
You feel your breath more at ease.
And whenever you're ready start to bring your awareness to your heart center and take a few moments to breathe into your heart.
Sending loving energy to your heart.
As you breathe into your heart,
You begin to plant a seed in your heart and the seed is that of a lotus flower.
And with each breath that you take,
You allow the seed to grow.
With each breath,
You feel the joy of the seed growing.
Keep breathing.
Allowing this lotus flower to grow from within your heart.
And take a moment to just visualize a couple of inches in front of your heart center.
Visualize the outline of this flower.
There is no right or wrong.
You don't need to know what the flower looks like.
Whatever comes to your mind,
This is your flower.
And as you start to see the outline of the flower,
Observe whether you've given it a stem,
A leaf,
Anything else.
Just create the outline mentally.
And now begin to color in your flower.
Again,
The color doesn't have to be the right color.
Pick the color that first comes to your mind.
And color in this flower,
Observing any intricacies in your shading.
And as you do this,
Continue to feel the joy growing within you with each breath and with each petal that you color in.
Notice all the details that you're giving to your flower,
Allowing this flower to be as alive as you feel right now.
Keep breathing.
And begin to notice,
Are there any smells to your flower?
Does the smell remind you of something?
Or does it take you someplace else?
Enjoy the smell,
Allowing the smells to embrace your entire being.
As you continue to focus on this flower,
You become one with this flower.
You connect with the flower so deeply that there is no difference between you and your flower.
Start to notice where have you placed this flower?
It could be absolutely anywhere.
Is it in your bathtub,
In your backyard,
In a pond,
A lake,
An ocean?
Wherever it is,
Just observe the surroundings,
Allowing yourself to take in the peace,
The joy,
The serenity.
You feel connected to this environment.
Keep breathing.
With each breath,
Feeling your flower healthy and strong.
Now notice the temperature in your surrounding.
Observe how the sun shines warmly on your skin.
Observe the gentle breeze,
The cooling breeze brushing past your skin.
And you notice and enjoy the slight glint in the water,
How the water shines from the sun's rays and the colors of your flower seem to become more radiant.
And this makes your heart smile just a little bit more.
And you begin to feel how you radiate love and you feel love surrounding you.
Keep breathing,
Observing your flower,
Just connecting with this lotus.
You have absolutely no agenda except to just connect with your flower,
To really just observe it in its habitat that you have given it.
Do you observe any sounds in your environment?
You feel so connected with your flower,
So calm in its healthy environment.
And this feeling brings you more confidence.
And this feeling leaves you feeling so calm and relaxed.
You even feel your body relaxing just a little bit more.
And as you continue to look at your flower,
You allow your flower to flow away.
And as you watch it flow away,
You begin to contemplate how this beautiful flower grows out of muddy waters.
And yet,
It turns out so beautiful,
Strong and radiant.
So you contemplate that you too have the choice to come out of any situation in your life the way you want to.
You can always choose to come out stronger,
No matter what your scenario is.
As you continue to look at this flower,
You really start to feel how life is flowing within you.
How just as this lotus flower blooms and opens up,
When we are completely open,
We are one with nature and connected to the divine.
For this beautiful flower to reach here,
It went through many blockages and challenges along the way.
We start to see that we need wisdom,
Humility,
Compassion,
Strength,
And humor to go through life with whatever comes at us.
As you watch your flower flowing away,
Admire your flower gently and lovingly,
Knowing that whenever you need to,
You can always come back to your flower.
Just visualizing this flower and embracing yourself in the strength that this flower has given you as you take a deep breath in,
You start to become aware of your body.
And as you exhale,
You let go of the image of the flower,
Becoming completely aware of the room that you're sitting in.
You become aware of your body,
Your breath,
And you start to bring your palms together to your heart center.
You take a moment to think of three things that you're grateful for today.
Any three things that have happened today.
And you start to feel the gratitude flowing within you,
Letting it leave a gentle smile on your face.
And you open your eyes whenever you're ready.
I hope you have a wonderful day today.
Namaste.
