This meditation is recorded during my weekly Wednesday "Positive Vibration Meditation", here on Insight Timer. Today, we go on a trip to a wonderful lake. Whilst looking at yourself in the reflection of the calm water, you find yourself relaxing and coming back to your acceptance and loving self. Enjoy the journey!

Welcome to this week's episode of the weekly Positive Vibration Meditation live on Insight Timer.

My name is Anouk from Soul Expression.

Enjoy the journey.

So at this moment in time,

I'm going to ask you to close your eyes.

Close your eyes and let your attention go to whatever comes up.

Whatever comes up.

And this might be a pain inside of your body.

This might be a car passing.

Might be thoughts.

Just start off to become aware of that.

And within us being aware,

I'm inviting you to not judge it.

To see if whatever comes up at this moment in time,

If you can accept that just the way it is.

So that means no hate or annoying feeling towards whatever comes up.

Means no heart loving warmth towards it.

See if you can accept it just the way it is.

See if you can accept it like a leaf in the river floating past.

And then I'm inviting you to change your focus on your breath.

So by doing that,

We're going to take one very deep breath.

And we gather all that,

All these things from outside.

We leave it where it is.

We leave our thoughts.

We leave our little pains and we breathe it all out.

Let it go.

And with our next deep breathing in,

We're going to collect some energy from the ground underneath and healing energy slowly breathe deeply into your body.

Hold it and with your next breathing out,

Try to let go of all the thoughts that are still in your mind.

Just let go of it.

Very good.

And one last deep breathing.

Take a deep breath,

Get our healing,

Powerful energy from the ground all through our body to the top of our head.

Hold that energy in our deep breathing out.

We let go of all the stress in our body,

All the little pains and things.

Become aware of possibly the peace that comes over you like a blanket.

And start to become aware of the air around you.

Air around you which can have according to our aura all different kinds of colors.

To see what color comes up for you this moment of time.

What air,

What color air is around you.

And see how that air feels for you.

Is that heavy air,

Light,

Positive air,

Color that you like or not like.

And see if you can send loving,

Positive energy to this air,

This aura around you.

And thank it for whatever it has been given to you.

Sometimes we find ourselves in difficult situations.

And when we do we tend to blame ourselves or people around us situations.

But if we really think about it and think back on our life we have learned so much through our difficult times.

So whatever the color or the weight or the difficulty in your aura is,

Just send it love.

Just send it love and be grateful.

See if you can gather that air with a nice breathe in into your heart.

And breathe out that what doesn't longer serve you.

And then I invite you to walk in your mind somewhere at a place which you feel comfortable.

It may be any place,

Any place outside of nature where you feel like you can be totally yourself.

And every footstep you feel the rocks or the sand or the leaves passing.

And you notice how happy you feel,

How light,

How good.

And slowly you make more steps and you are becoming aware of everything around you.

Beautiful things.

Little creatures,

Big creatures.

Just a peaceful environment.

And then a bit further away you see a lake.

A beautiful crystal clear lake.

Slowly you make little steps towards that lake.

And stay conscious of each step.

And each step is a journey on itself.

Just feel that what is below you.

What is above you.

A clear sky.

And what is beneath you.

And slowly make it as real as you can.

As visual as you can.

Slowly you see this beautiful lake.

And it's actually quite a big lake.

There's no one there.

Especially in your beautiful dream world to see some deers,

Maybe even some elephants far away.

Or maybe it's just you.

And make yourself comfortable right next to the lake.

You can either stay standing up or sitting down.

And see if you can find a position that feels comfortable for you.

And a position that you can look at yourself in this water.

This lake is not just crystal clear.

It's also without any wrinkles.

It's just a day without wind.

The perfect temperature.

When you're looking to yourself in this water.

And see what comes up when you look into your own eyes.

When you look to your own face.

See what comes up for yourself.

See what comes up and whatever that is,

Acknowledge that.

Acknowledge that.

And what I mean by acknowledging is it ties in with what I said just now.

If you feel light or dark.

Happy or heavy.

It all has its reasons.

And maybe if you feel heavy today it's the reason that you're here with me,

With us meditating.

And possibly when you feel light and happy.

You just want to become more happy and connect better with yourself.

So whatever comes up when you look into yourself.

That is okay.

And smile at yourself.

And thank yourself.

Say thank you for all that you've been going through.

And doing your best,

The best that you can.

And whilst we're standing and looking at this lake into yourself.

See if you can only concentrate on love.

Love towards yourself.

I invite you to feel the love towards yourself.

And with a deep breath just make that love bigger and invite it into your body.

Maybe notice that little smile that appears on your face.

And breathe out what no longer serves you.

You can only see your reflection in still water.

You can only see your reflection in still water.

And our lives these days are busy.

Are packed.

It's far from still water.

It's very busy water.

It's running water.

It goes everywhere.

So it's very difficult to find love for yourself.

And to find peace and to be present.

So again keep looking at yourself.

Feel that peace and love.

Stay present.

And what often happens is that we get distracted.

Our mind and our ego tends to go to thoughts,

To sounds around us.

Tends to go to little pains in our body.

And again see if you can accept that with love.

And see if whatever comes up that will distract you from feeling pure love for yourself,

For that mirror that you are looking at.

Whatever distracts you from that,

If you can see it in the water below you.

Like a little ripple in the water.

Or a leaf passing.

So if there is a little feeling maybe in your shoulder which hurts.

Say thank you.

You do not long reserve me.

And I see you going past as a leaf through the water.

And quickly after that your water becomes clear again.

And you can feel that love.

And when there is something new,

A sound or a thought that bothers you.

Say thank you.

Thank you.

You do not longer serve me or you don't serve me at this present moment.

I let you go.

Like a leaf in this water.

And come back to your loving self.

Try to stay present.

Present with your loving self in the water.

In your own reflection.

And feel that love grow.

Because everything you give attention grows.

If it is negativity,

Love or positivity.

It will grow.

So let us focus on this self love.

And if there is something that dares to be in the way between you and your self love.

Just thank it,

Accept it.

And let it pass like a river.

You still might be overwhelmed by thoughts or body pains,

Aches or sounds.

A trick that you can also use is to breathe in deeply.

And blow it into your mirror in that water.

And let it go.

And slowly see your loving self back into the mirror.

Back to your loving self.

Back to your beautiful eyes.

See the beauty of life every day.

Back to your perfect nose that is designed for you to smell.

Back to your amazing ears that can listen to my voice.

To the birds around me and maybe around you.

Let's look and feel love for our chin,

Our beautiful,

Perfect chin.

Cheekbones.

Appreciate all that you see.

It's you.

It's your magical you.

Look at your whole you,

Your whole beautiful,

Perfect you face.

And again whenever thoughts come up or other things that distract you from being present,

Being your present loving you,

Just let it go.

Like a leaf on the river or in your lake.

Let go of that what doesn't serve you.

And come back to your beautiful reflection in that water below you.

Good.

I invite you to suck up all that loving energy to your heart center.

And a deep breath in.

Feel it,

Feel it growing.

And in your breath out,

You let go of everything that doesn't serve you.

But you keep this beautiful loving self in your heart center.

Put your hand on your heart.

You can stand or sit up straight if you're still looking at your reflection in your water.

And with your hand on your heart,

Just feel gratefulness for this present moment,

Which is all we have.

Feel love for yourself,

For the world.

Feel love for not just your face,

But your shoulders,

Your upper arms.

Feel the gratefulness for your hands,

Your torso,

And your hips.

Feel grateful for your upper legs,

Your knees,

Bottom parts of your legs and your feet.

And think of two or three other specific things,

Situations or people that you are grateful for.

Notice a smile that might have appeared on your face.

And you can put your hand back on your lap and feel your energy.

Feel your energy and check back in to the air around you.

What color does that air around you has right now?

Does it feel different?

How does the difference feel for you?

And again,

Be fine and grateful for whatever comes up.

And slowly we're going to make our way back.

You can stand up if you were sitting down.

You can have a last look at this beautiful,

Gorgeous lake that has shown a reflection of your loving self.

And know that whenever you feel overwhelmed,

Whenever you feel like life is only on top of your shoulders,

Just come back to your lake.

Come back to your reflection.

Come back to your mirror.

Give it gratitude and you can turn around.

And slowly when you walk back,

You can start to be aware of the sounds in your own reality.

Every step you come closer back into the present moment of your room or whatever place you're sitting in.

Come back to the chair you're sitting in and you feel your butt making contact with your chair or your meditation pillow or your yoga mat or your bed.

And become aware of your fingers.

You can move them a little bit.

And your toes.

Take one deep breath in together and we breathe in what the universe will sound on to zip up all the beautiful energy that we have gathered today.

Aum.

Let's do this one more time and you may join us.

Aum.

Aum.

And slowly when you are ready,

You may open your eyes and see if you can keep being aware of this love for yourself and this energy that you've been working on.
