Hello everyone,

It's Audrey from Deep Rooted Wellness.

Today we're going to dive into our science of nature and the nervous system series.

Today we're going to be talking about the power of all and how nature expands our perspective and calms our nervous system.

When we experience nature and the power of all,

Like looking at the wide sky,

Taking in the tall tree,

Or a view from a mountaintop,

Something interesting happens in our brain.

The power of all shifts our attention away from worry and ourself and it creates a sense of connection,

Spaciousness,

And calm.

Research shows all can reduce stress,

Improve our mood,

And increase the feelings that we belong.

All gently quiets the nervous system as it reminds us we are part of something bigger than just ourselves.

All helps with anxiety and helps the body feel safer and more regulated.

I'm going to challenge you now to do one thing today that feels bigger than you.

Take a step outside,

Gaze at the sky,

Take in the silhouette of a tree,

Look at the moving clouds,

Or even just take a minute to look at a photo of nature inside.

Pause for 30 seconds,

Take a deep breath,

Take it all in,

And just notice what shifts for you.
