Hey,

This is Becca.

This is a meditation for letting go of stress.

Let's take a big breath together and begin by allowing your shoulders to drop down your back.

Allowing your seats to grow a little heavier.

And we'll start by imagining that connected to the base of your spine is some sort of cord.

Maybe this is a big tree trunk,

Or a tail,

Or a stack of marshmallows,

Or a gyro.

Whatever you see,

Some sort of cord that connects to the base of your spine and starts to grow down through wherever you're at,

Through the ground,

The dirt,

The rock beneath you.

It grows down through water,

Through stone,

Through lava.

Until the bottom of that cord connects to the core of the planet.

And as you see that image,

As you give that image to your body,

You start to allow this downward pull.

So that your body becomes grounded into this present moment and grounded into this place you are in.

And grounded to the earth beneath you,

Supported by the earth beneath you.

You're supported in this meditation in letting go.

Letting go is a skill.

It's something we practice and it's a whole body experience.

So we'll experience letting go today.

And get into the flow of it so that there's nothing to figure out.

There's no equation to solve here.

It's just letting your body have this experience of letting go.

So you identify this grounding cord and just notice,

Is it really connected there to the base of your spine or first chakra?

And just see that strong connection.

And flip the switch there onto release.

That grounding cord is hollow on the inside.

It's like a big garbage chute.

And whatever you're ready to let go of,

Maybe just the day you've had today,

Just starts to drop naturally and effortlessly with gravity.

Whatever is yours,

Whatever you need,

Whatever belongs to you,

Will stay with you.

This grounding cord is for us to be letting go of whatever's not ours to hold.

And we can accumulate a whole bunch of junk just walking around town.

Consciously,

Unconsciously.

So here's our time to just drop off whatever is not ours to hold.

If you were rushing around today or trying to get a lot done,

Maybe you start to release some of that rushing around.

Some of that quick movement.

Just releasing that fast pace out of your body like it's just another energy that you could drop.

If you're holding on to any pressure,

Pressure to do it all and to do it perfectly,

We can start to let that release down our grounding cord as well.

Notice you're not needing to solve a problem right now,

Figure it out.

You're just letting whatever you're holding on to,

Whatever that pressure is,

Go.

You're letting the frequency drop out of your space,

So you don't actually need to manage it right now.

Maybe in general,

You might need to pick it up later and manage it later,

But give yourself the space right now to just drop it and to have your space without it.

Have your space for you.

Now let's just allow ourselves to drop any energy we might be holding that is just someone else's.

Someone else's emotions maybe that they want us to process for them or heal for them.

Pressure someone's putting in our space to do something or be something.

Just allowing that energy that's actually not yours and not yours to manage.

Just letting it drop down that grounding cord and out of your space entirely.

Maybe you see or sense or even feel where that energy is dropping.

Maybe it's coming off your shoulders.

Maybe it's coming off of your head,

Going down and out through that grounding cord.

Maybe it's coming off of your hips or even that first chakra.

There's no right or wrong.

You're just noticing your experience.

And giving yourself the opportunity to experience letting go as this physical,

Tactile release.

As if every cell in your body can finally just sit down.

And actually,

It's not work to let go.

We're letting go of the work that we do when we hold on so tightly.

So letting go is not work.

It's actually the absence of work.

It's finally letting go of all the work we're doing.

Whether we're conscious or not,

When we're holding all these things,

It's hard work.

Letting go is easy.

It can be easy.

Now,

If there's something you're holding on to right now that's bothering you,

That's especially triggering you right now,

Decide that whatever piece of that you can drop right now,

Maybe it's even just the pressure to resolve that problem,

Some of the emotions that are wound up around it,

But any piece of that that you can just let fall,

Give yourself permission right now to just let it drop.

Watching it.

Letting it be easy.

What if gravity is helping you always?

What if the earth is pleading with you,

Please let go of what you're carrying and let me take it from you.

Let me recycle that energy.

What if there are unseen forces all around you that are ready to help you and nourish you and give you more space?

Space for you to feel good and space for you to be exactly as you are right now.

And space for you to just be present and be healed by presence,

By all these forces that are here in this present moment,

Nourishing you.

Often when we're holding on to so much,

It's like our whole body is a clenched fist squeezing something.

There's no room to receive anything else.

We're holding so tightly to whatever it is that we're full.

We can't really take any more in.

Maybe we want to experience something different,

But we don't know how.

So we're already so full.

There's already so much on our plate.

When we do this really simple practice of just letting go,

Now,

Wow,

A whole world opens up.

I can receive anything I want.

If I'm open,

If I've made the space,

I can receive.

So let's do that now.

So you'll see above you now a big ball of light like your own personal sun.

And this sun is full of your energy,

Your radiance,

Your presence,

Your power.

Notice how big that sun is.

It can be as big as you need it to be today.

And you'll just call back your energy from wherever you may have left it,

From the past,

From the future,

From other people,

From wherever you've been going,

Whenever you've been doing.

You're calling it all back.

And watching that sun get bigger and brighter,

Noticing how radiant your own energy is,

How beautiful it is.

And that sun begins to become so big that it overflows now down and into your space,

Pouring down through the crown of your head,

Flowing down your spine,

Down your arms and your legs,

Through every cell in your body,

Flushing down that grounding cord,

Helping you release and ground.

That golden light also rippling through every layer of your aura.

So two or three feet around you in all directions,

You're filling with this golden light.

Every cell in your body replenished,

Receiving,

Relaxed.

Let's take a big breath in together and have a wonderful rest of your day,

Night,

Whatever.

I'll see you next time.
