Hey there.
We come to a practice like this because we know.
We know we need it.
We know it makes us have more capacity.
Our breathing grows deeper as we inhale and exhale.
Scan the body.
Find those tricksy places where we grip and we hold because it can be so hard to be human.
Breathe and try and drop down into the full body.
The full breath as you breathe in and breathe out.
When life comes at us with whatever it brings,
We can seize up and get tight and small.
Here we are making a different choice to soften and center and settle.
We become more spacious and capacious.
This wide life,
Full and open,
Easy,
Allowing what is to be.
Here we are sitting or standing or walking or doing dishes,
Whatever it is,
Here we are mindfully surrendering,
Opening,
Being with what is.
Breathe.
Center.
Feel the space.
Feel the roots connecting you to the earth.
Feel the breath becoming present in your body,
Feeding you new life and taking away what you don't have to hold on to anymore.
Here you are breathing,
Practicing,
Practicing being present with what is.
Feeling present in the breath,
In the body,
In the present.
Breathe in and breathe out and know you are alive.
