The purpose of this meditation is for us to take a brief journey into self-exploration. Together, let's take a moment to breathe and remind ourselves that no matter the current state of our circumstances we are indeed enough.

Let's begin with a deep inhale through the nose,

Feeling the belly,

Ribs,

And chest.

And release it with an open mouth exhale,

Sighing it out.

Again through the nose,

Belly rising,

Ribs expanding,

Chest full.

And exhaling through the mouth with a deep sigh.

Last time inhaling through the nose,

Belly,

Ribs,

And chest.

And sighing it out through the mouth,

Releasing from chest,

Ribs,

And belly,

Pulling in toward the spine.

I'd like to invite you to notice what you notice about your body.

Where have you been holding tension?

Where are the spaces that are contracting,

That are tight?

On your next inhale,

Take a moment to directly engage those spaces,

Paying close attention to what you notice about them.

And as you exhale,

Fully release and let everything go.

Unclench your jaw,

Roll your shoulders down and away from your ears.

Ground your feet into the earth if you've decided to sit upright.

Or allow yourself to melt into the foundation that is supporting you if you are lying on your back.

And remember to breathe here.

Naturally,

In and out through the nose.

Now let's take a few moments to revisit you.

The journey to self-acceptance is a process that repeats at every transition,

Disappointment,

And triumph.

So when was the last time you examined who you are?

When was the last time you inspected the depths of your strengths?

I hope you haven't forgotten that you are so necessary.

There would be something missing without your energy.

And the light that you bring into dark spaces is irreplaceable.

Remember to breathe here.

Inhaling bravery and exhaling fear.

Inhaling self-compassion and letting go of self-consciousness.

Inhaling patience with your growth in that journey and exhaling the lie that you are not good enough.

Now I offer to you to take a moment to reflect on your practice with me today.

Let's end the way we began.

With a deep inhale through the nose,

Filling the belly,

Ribs expanding,

Chest full,

And releasing with an open mouth,

Exhale,

Sighing it out.

In through the nose,

Expanding the belly,

Ribs,

And chest,

And release with an open mouth,

Exhale,

Sighing everything out.

One last time,

In through the nose,

Belly full,

Ribs expanding,

Chest reached,

And exhaling,

Sighing out through the mouth.

Thank you for taking this time to put yourself first and to remember who you are.

I look forward to our next moment together.

Short and sweet. A lovely guiding voice, and a no nonsense approach to scanning the body and using the breath as a necessary tool for relaxation. A compassionate approach when you are feeling a bit vulnerable, and a gentle reminder to help you return to yourself. Thank you 🧡
