Whether you're sitting or lying down,

Let yourself softly settle.

Allow yourself to just be.

Let the stillness around you and inside you to deepen.

Praise yourself for giving yourself the gift of this time.

For caring about and attending to your own well-being.

It is so important.

So well done for showing up here.

I'm so glad to be sharing this space with you.

My hope is to guide you to a place of soothing peace.

To a calming place where you can rest.

So for now,

Give yourself permission to simply let go and allow my voice to guide you.

If you have not already done so,

I invite you to close your eyes.

Now tune into your breath.

Use it to deepen your relaxation.

Letting your in-breath create expansion and space.

Letting your out-breath provide freedom and release.

Don't force anything.

Just let yourself be and let it happen.

One gentle breath at a time.

Follow them as they move in and out of your body.

Now imagine the presence of a very soft,

Almost translucent cloud.

It is the lightest of clouds and it is slowly flowing towards you.

You feel the air around you getting lighter as it approaches you.

Feel how the light surrounding you softens.

You notice how even the sounds around you soften.

The beautiful cloud gently wraps itself around you.

When you are cocooned in soothing softness,

Floating effortlessly in tranquility,

Feel the softness on your skin.

Imagine softening your gaze.

Feel the release as the tiny muscles around your eyes soften and relax.

Feel the release as your eyelids soften and let go.

Allow your eyelids to fully relax.

And let the relaxation calmly ripple on,

First to your forehead and then to your scalp.

Feel how even the tiniest of muscles begin to relax.

Now your cheeks,

Around your nose,

Your lips,

Mouth.

Jaw and chin.

Follow the flow of the ripples as they continue to move into every part of your body.

To your neck,

Your back,

Shoulders.

To the space between your shoulder blades.

Into your left arm.

Left hand.

Fingers.

And now into your right arm.

Your right hand.

Fingers.

Into your chest.

Rippling into your belly.

Down your left leg.

Into your foot and toes.

Into your right leg.

Foot and toes.

In whatever way it feels good to you,

Continue to imagine soothing ripples of ease and relaxation flowing ever so gently through your body.

Imagine how the ripples are softly washing away tension.

And tension,

But perhaps also tension that may have lingered in you for a long time.

Imagine these ripples quietly flowing back and forth until all pockets of tension have been eased away from your body.

Now bring your attention to your heart,

Mind and soul and the tensions that may be present there for you.

Tensions like frustration,

Hurt,

Worry,

Sadness or overwhelm.

Imagine letting go of those tensions too.

Imagine the ripples releasing those tensions for you.

The ripples quietly,

Softly flowing back and forth until all pockets of tension have been eased away.

Let them be released as drops of rain from your beautiful blood.

In your mind,

Picture raindrops of tension softly falling from your cloud and watch as they disappear in the distance.

Listen to the deeply restful stillness.

Somewhere far away in the background,

You may be able to hear the faint sound of the last raindrops falling.

Notice how a new lightness is now present in you.

Notice how you feel lighter.

Notice the gentle way you are being held by your cloud.

Let it hold you even more.

Sink deeper into its softness and let yourself be fully held as you rest,

Light as a feather cocooned in your soothing cloud.

I invite you to stay here for a while and my voice will let you know when it's time to return.

Thanks,

It was ltS regardless.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Softly,

Begin to come back.

And if you like,

Bring back a little bit of wisdom from this peaceful place of stillness.

Begin to let the image of the cloud dissolve.

Begin to notice the surface underneath you.

Notice where your body meets the surface.

Take a few deep breaths.

Once again,

Following the flow of your breaths as they move in and out.

Begin to notice the sounds around you.

The temperature of the room.

And when you're ready,

Softly,

Softly begin to move your body.

Thank you so much for letting me share this experience with you.

I will finish by wishing you a beautiful day or a peaceful night's sleep,

Depending on where you are in the world right now.
