
Going Within To Connect To Intuition
Intuition. It's a major part of your soul and your design. Your intuition is designed to be the major part of your guidance system. Learning to go within to listen is a tool to help you connect with your true yourself, your soul.

Hi,
I'm Brenda.
I am so glad that you are here to listen.
Today's guided meditation is connecting to intuition.
Intuition is something we all have.
We all have it.
We are born with it.
Sadly for many of us,
This gets shut down or turned off completely when we are children.
However,
Your intuition is still there.
It's waiting for you to find it again.
Cao Zheng said,
Intuition gives outlook and insight.
It revels in the garden of magical possibilities.
And this has definitely been my experience.
The more I've gone within,
The more insight and outlook has been revealed.
The more that I'm able to hear and know and understand about me,
About situations,
About my future,
About life,
As well as the more I've learned to trust myself.
Your intuition is a major part of your soul and your design.
Your intuition is meant to be a major part of your guidance system,
Your internal guidance system.
So going within is a necessary tool to help you reconnect with yourself and your soul,
Dialing into your internal guidance system.
Because your intuition,
It's a muscle too.
It needs to be conditioned in order to get stronger.
The more you tune in and hear what your intuition is telling you,
Whether it's you're seeing it,
Feeling it,
Hearing it,
Knowing it,
The more you do that,
The more you use that muscle,
It's going to become stronger.
So whatever your intuitive gift is,
Whether it's,
You know,
Sight,
Sound,
Knowing,
Feeling,
Develop a practice to tuning in and using it.
Key thing here is to follow it.
Using it means follow your intuition.
If your gut instinct tells you,
Don't go that way,
Go this way,
Then go this way.
Follow.
When you begin to use your intuition and trust it,
The more the magical possibilities will begin to happen,
The more your life will seem to go with ease and flow.
You'll trust yourself more.
You'll know yourself more.
You'll know your truth and you'll be living closely connected to your soul and your design.
And when you live connected to your soul and your design,
Life is an easy flow.
So close the door if there's other humans in your house.
Grab your water,
A journal,
And a pen and find a comfortable place to sit and participate in this guided meditation to connect to your intuition.
So getting comfortable and closing your eyes.
Settling into this moment as you breathe in and out your nose.
Slow,
Steady breaths in and out the nose.
Allow the edges of your eyes to soften.
Jaw slightly open,
Shoulders drop.
Your thoughts will come and go and if you start thinking about this or that,
Come back to your breath.
Silently repeating in on the in-breath and out on the out-breath.
Letting thoughts pass by.
Coming back to the breath.
Now slowing that breath down even more as the rhythm of your breath helps you to release and let go of any tension your body is holding.
The edges of your eyes are soft.
Jaw slightly open and shoulders drop.
Now using the breath and your imagination,
Bring your attention to your root chakra and your root chakra is located at the base of your spine.
And now imagine roots are extending from your root chakra and these roots are finding their way to the earth,
To the soil,
Breaking through any structure and moving deep into the soil.
These roots are going deep and wide to support and anchor you.
Your breath slows down a bit more.
Eyes are soft,
Jaw slightly open and shoulders drop.
And with this next breath,
Take a deep breath in and let it fill your body and hold it for just a second.
Then on the exhale,
Send the breath back down through your body and through the roots.
And with this breath,
This deep breath,
Pull up the earth's energy through these roots and into your body.
And then on the exhale,
Send the breath back down through the roots deep into the earth.
And this time when you take a deep breath in,
Pull up the earth's energy into your body and then send the breath out the top of your head.
And do it again.
Deep breath in and send out the top of your head.
Now feeling fully supported and anchored to go within.
Bringing your attention to your heart,
Notice if you need to shift or move to get more comfortable.
Softly focusing on your heart,
Your breath is slow and steady.
You're going to connect to your intuition and this is the place where you can know things without even knowing how you know.
You don't have to dissect which is the right thought,
Which is the right direction.
That fork in the road can be so confusing,
So daunting.
If that's the place you find yourself in,
Needing more guidance and support,
Then enjoy a fewer slower breaths in and out the nose as we get the connection started.
Play with an image of taking all those choices and opinions,
Those voices inside your head,
Link to what is going on.
You may even have other people's opinions shouting at you.
Let's place all those distracting viewpoints in a huge bubble sealed off.
Those bothersome extra ideas that add to confusion will be put into that bubble until we are done.
So get more comfortable.
Eyes are closed.
Notice all the thinking still active,
Thoughts fussing about in their bubble,
Trying to capture your intention.
But right now you get to connect with your still small voice deep within,
Just waiting patiently to guide you.
Your awareness rolls back into the center of your brain,
Right in between your ears,
Right between the front and the back of your head,
And you find the spot where you could almost just float in awareness.
And those busy other thoughts remain in that huge bubble.
And noticing a very gentle,
Gradual experience of softening the muscles in your body.
Feeling the rising and the falling of your breath,
Not changing it in any way.
Just noticing the natural rhythm of your breath right now.
With the next few breaths,
I want you to drop your shoulders on the exhale.
Allow your arms to be a little bit heavier.
As your shoulders and chest drop and soften,
Your arms become heavy and relaxed.
Allow whatever you have been going through to be lifted out of your mind,
Out of your body,
As if you see a mist just leaving your whole body.
Releasing anything or anyone that has been heavy as your shoulders drop,
Letting go of everything you've been loaded down by mentally and emotionally.
Breathing in the word,
Clearing,
And breathing out,
Cleansing.
Clearing and cleansing.
Slow and steady breaths,
Clearing and cleansing.
Again,
Making your way to your heart,
Breathing and clearing,
And breathing out,
Cleansing.
All the different topics,
Challenges,
Opinions being swept into that huge bubble and sealed off.
You can even move your hands.
Shift and move to even get more comfortable.
Eyes melt,
Jaw slightly open,
Shoulders drop.
This is the time that you have chosen to turn your attention within.
Just breathing and clearing and breathing out,
Cleansing.
Finding your way into your heart.
And the first few breaths as you focus on your heart may be no different than where you started,
Where it may be completely different.
Right now,
All that matters is you keeping your mind attentive to the area of your heart,
Beating just for you and nobody else.
Being aware of your heart,
The intimacy and connection of that,
And feeling taken care of.
Inside you is an inner wellspring of wisdom and all the guidance you need.
Allow your shoulders to drop even more.
Not having to reach for or get any answers,
Simply opening up to listen from within.
Tuning into and listening to that still small voice behind all the noise.
If you need to,
Gently repeat,
Guide me.
Guide and direct me.
Being open,
Not reaching for an answer,
A sign or a sensation.
Repeating,
Guide me a few more times.
And then resting in your heart as this deepest wisdom makes itself known to you at the right time and in the right way.
Enjoy this time until my voice returns.
Now bringing this meditation to a close,
Taking a little deeper breath in,
Listening from within for any last bits of guidance and direction.
Placing a hand on your heart,
Thank your body for all it gave you,
For all it does for you,
For all it shows you.
Remembering only what you need from this experience within.
Now straighten your legs if they were crossed.
Point and flex your feet.
Rotate your ankles.
Allow the energy of awareness to travel up your legs and into your body,
Up and across your shoulders and down your arms and into your hands as you open and close them.
And then traveling up and into your throat,
Into your jaw.
Feel it relax again as the edges of your mouth lifts up into a slight smile.
And with the next breath,
Slowly open your eyes,
Feeling alert,
Clear of mind,
Present and calm.
Grab your journal and write a little bit more about what you are more aware of from this experience.
