Hello and welcome to your meditation practice,
The third in your rest,
Release,
Rise series inviting you to use the power of mindfulness and rest to tend to and uplift your soul.
To give more attention to your purpose,
To your dreams and your goals,
And to your leadership.
How can you live and lead better from a rested and calmer state?
Eric Schiffman says,
Yoga is a way of moving into stillness in order to experience the truth of who you are.
It is a matter of listening inwardly for guidance all the time and then daring enough and trusting enough to do as you're prompted to do.
Meditation teaches us that there's a power here in this moment.
Life is right here right now and you have power to choose how you want to move forward and how you want to show up as you do.
When you move through life mindfully and from a rested space rather than burnt out and reactive there's really no limit on what you can accomplish.
Your intuition will guide you and you'll have the courage and focus and follow it.
Let's breathe now together and tap into the limitlessness within you.
Take a nice deep inhale in through the nose and as you exhale allow the eyes to softly close.
Another inhale deep through the nose and this time as you exhale open the mouth and let out a sigh and start to invite relaxation into the body.
One last deep inhale in through the nose and exhale sigh and start to soften through the soles of the feet.
Feeling into the earth beneath you,
Inviting relaxation up through those soles of the feet into the ankles,
Calves,
The knees and the thighs.
Taking a nice deep inhale and imagining sending the exhale into the space of the hips,
Letting your hips settle into the support of the earth beneath you.
Breathing as the belly rises and falls.
Breathing and watching the chest as it rises and falls.
Softening across the shoulders and the collarbones.
Letting the hands fall heavy wherever they may lie.
Softening the space between your lips and the cheeks.
Softening your eyelids and allowing your forehead to smooth.
Allowing your whole body to be relaxed from the top of the head all the way down to the soles of the feet.
Allowing your whole body to be completely and totally relaxed and then inviting the mind to do so as well knowing there's nowhere else you have to be,
Nothing else you have to do in this moment but be here.
Be here in your meditation practice and simply watch the breath.
Allow the inhales to fill you and soften you.
Allow the exhales to relax the body and knowing that some thoughts might arise,
Simply acknowledging them and releasing them and letting them go.
Knowing that that is completely normal.
If your mind starts to wander,
Simply bringing your attention back to the breath.
Simply watching the inhales and watching the exhales.
Releasing any grip or any need for control.
Relaxing in to the space.
When I am rested,
When I am calm,
I am capable.
I am expansive.
I am limitless.
I am focused on my dreams and my goals.
I rise into my potential and I know I have everything I need inside of me.
On your next inhale,
Start to bring your awareness back to the body.
Bringing in small movements through the fingers and the toes.
Maybe circling the wrists and the ankles and slowly bringing your body back to the awareness,
To the room.
Maybe taking a stretch overhead and then taking a moment to notice how you feel in your body and your mind.
And then one last deep inhale through the nose and as you exhale,
Allow the eyes to softly open and bring yourself back into the space.
As you move forward in your day,
I wish you peace and I wish you ease when I wish for you the clarity and confidence to rise into your potential and achieve all that you dream of.
