To end the fear,
One has to understand the fear.
Why does one fear?
Is one afraid of the known?
Or is one afraid of the unknown?
If one really sees unknown,
One has nothing to fear,
Right?
Because it is unknown.
If one fears,
One must fear the abstraction about the unknown,
The concept,
The idea of being unknown,
Which means that it is still known.
The concept,
Which is called unknown,
Is still a concept.
It is still known.
So the mind which stays in the known must fear.
The fear comes from the known.
I have some terrible experience in the past.
So this time when I meet this experience,
The mind is translating from the past and the fear kicks in.
But if the mind let go of the past,
Just meet this experience,
This moment,
Freshly,
Which means that the mind stays unknown,
Then the mind has nothing to fear.
Because the mind is seeing,
Is meeting this moment,
Without translating from the background of the past.
This part is very subtle,
But it is very important for everyone.
The mind can easily make mistakes trapped in the known,
And mistakes known as the unknown by the name.
But if the mind is really in the unknown,
Which means that the mind empties the thoughts with a fresh mind,
This moment,
Nothing to fear.
This means that one must observe in one's life to see the episode of the fear,
And convey the life of the unknown,
Which means that we meet moment by moment with a fresh mind.
So the mind can see what is really going on at this moment,
Never translating,
But learn at this moment.
And such a mind not only has no fear,
But also meet and solve the issues at this moment,
Surely breaking the continuation of the thoughts.
And doing so actually is the meditation,
And also the self-inquiry.
