Can I come back to the middle?
The me has no place at all.
Can I see the beauty of life?
Yes,
I can,
But only when the me is totally absent.
So this whole journey,
Which can be arduous,
Coming to the middle,
Is also the whole process of ending the me.
Which means that the mind is observing,
Observing without being the observer,
Watching without being the vulture.
The mind is watching the total movement of thoughts,
Without identification,
Without attachment.
So standing in the middle means that can I live life without attachment?
The very attachment is also the process of authentication.
These sound different,
But actually they are the same process.
This brain about the me builds up the me,
And thoughts are always fragmented.
And this whole process of attachment or identification brings about this uniqueness of the me.
But one must say it clearly,
It is totally meaningless psychologically to have this uniqueness.
Through this pattern,
It's the same across people in this individual society.
And the same pattern creates the uniqueness.
You see the point here,
Everybody feels he's unique,
She's unique,
But it is being dominated by the same pattern.
The pattern means that it is never new,
It is always old.
Anything that is really new is not in any pattern.
Can I live life afresh or new?
Which means that can I live life without being trapped in any pattern?
And this comes back to the same point we have come to.
As long as one is living without being trapped in any pattern,
The me,
The self,
The ego has no place at all.
