Welcome,

Find a comfortable position and take a slow deep breath.

Let your body settle and your attention arrive fully in this moment.

Notice the surface beneath you,

The weight of your body and the rhythm of your breath.

Turn your attention inward.

Bring to mind a part of yourself you usually judge or wish were different.

Observe it quietly.

Acknowledge it as it is.

Imperfection is natural and part of being human.

Notice how it feels to simply accept this fact without trying to change it.

Now,

Listen for the inner voice that comments on your actions or choices.

Hear the critique without reacting.

Recognize that these thoughts are not facts,

They are habitual patterns.

Choose to reframe one thought gently.

For example,

If your mind says I failed,

You might notice I am learning and moving forward.

Allow this shift to create a small space of ease.

4.

Bring to mind a small truth or vulnerability you tend to hide.

Hold it gently.

Imagine it's shared safely with someone you trust,

Without needing to fix it or justify it.

5.

Feel what it is like to be honest and seen,

Even if only in your own awareness.

Notice any sensations or emotions that arise and meet them without judgment.

6.

Shift your attention now to the present moment.

Notice your breath,

The sensations of your body,

The environment around you.

When thoughts drift to the past or future,

Gently return to what is here now.

7.

Recognize that grace lives in this moment.

Acquire acceptance of yourself exactly as you are.

8.

Consider living with this awareness beyond this meditation.

9.

Commit to meeting your imperfections with steadiness and patience,

As you would another person you care for.

Take one last slow,

Deep breath.

10.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of acceptance and presence with you.
