It is the end of the day and its meditation time. Use this evening meditation to release your thoughts that may be lingering from the day. Let go of it all by using the breath to release, while placing an intention on the releasing exhale statements in the meditation. Ideal to listen to each evening as a closing of the day ritual to prepare you for sleep! Hello my name is Kari and thank you for joining me in this end-of-the-day meditation.

A couple of simple instructions before we start.

I'm going to use phrases connected to the breath.

So you will inhale and then on the exhale I'll make a statement of what it is that you'll be releasing at the end of the day.

So you breathe in nice and slow and on the exhale as you breathe out set an intention that that which I am stating is what you're letting go of.

Let's get started.

You can lie down if you want to or you can sit down on your meditation pillow,

Straighten your spine.

Hopefully you're wearing comfortable soft clothes.

It's the end of the day,

You survived,

You're here and you're going to close off the day with a meditation.

Soften down your shoulders,

Making space between your shoulders and your ears.

Relax your jaw,

Close your eyes.

Take a nice big deep breath in and as you breathe in take it all the way down to your abdomen and as you breathe out release just as slow or maybe a little bit slower if possible.

Breathe in and breathe out.

That's the pace we'll be going at.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I release the day.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any tension I've been holding all day.

Breathe in and breathe out.

I release any conversations that felt unfinished.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any feeling of unfinished business.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of all responsibilities.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of thinking about work.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any feelings of uncertainty.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any self-doubt.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any embarrassment I felt today.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any shame or self-criticism.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any unfinished tasks.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of thinking about anything that isn't to do with relaxation.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of conversations replaying in my head.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of any thoughts about tomorrow and my responsibilities.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I let go of my day.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I relax and fully let go of my day.

Breathe in,

And just breathe out.

Breathe in,

Taking on no thoughts,

And just breathe out.

Relax your shoulders even more.

Breathe in a feeling of spaciousness and emptiness,

And breathe out,

And just really let go.

Breathe in a feeling of calm,

A sense of peace.

Breathe out.

Imagine you're breathing out all the corners and cobwebs of your day.

Breathe in,

Nice long slow breathe out.

Resume your normal breathing.

Take a few moments to just feel that stillness and quiet,

The space that release has created inside of your body,

In your mind,

An empty slate.

Namaste,

My friend.

See you tomorrow.

Meditating 🧘‍♀️ eyes closed and the sun is about to set where I meditate on my deck. This is my first time meditating in nature and so far I am at peace.
