Let's meditate together,
Shall we?
So my name is Corrie.
Thank you for being here with me.
If you'd like to get into a comfortable seated position,
Close down your eyes,
Straighten your spine,
Start to feel and become aware of your breath.
What does your breath feel like in your body?
Is it slow?
Is it fast?
The more you meditate,
The more your brain starts to send signals that automatically slow down your breathing.
So without even realizing subconsciously when I said get comfortable and close your eyes,
Your brain has fell into your meditation loop where it follows by slowing down your breathing,
Stilling your body as much as possible.
And within that stillness and that sense of calm,
We can start to be more self-aware.
Always try and check in with where you're at when you start your meditations.
No matter what kind,
Just feel into your body for a minute.
Sense where your body's at,
Whether it's tired,
Whether it feels light and happy.
Start your awareness path by checking in with your physical body.
Make sure that you're comfortable,
All those kind of things.
And then moving into your awareness of where your mind is at,
Giving your mind the opportunity to start to clear a little bit and slow down its thoughts a little bit.
You focus on your body and you focus on your breath.
Bring your attention back to your breathing and mindfully slow it down just a tad more.
Also focus on the stillness in between the breath.
So you're focusing on your whole journey of one breath,
The in,
The full,
The expression,
The release and the empty.
It's like the four seasons of the weather,
Four seasons of the moon,
Four seasons of the female cycle.
There's four seasons in the breath.
Pretty cool.
I'd like you to,
In your mind,
Start to become aware of some possible choices in your life that you're looking at right now.
Maybe they're career based,
Maybe they're relationship based,
Maybe they're choices within yourself,
Your own choices of changing.
But there's an area in your life,
If you just let your mind like open and get floaty,
It'll come to you what it is that you need to process and work on right now.
Something where you have to make a decision.
Decisions aren't always easy,
Especially if they're big changes,
Big moves in our life.
They can cause procrastination,
Fear,
Doubt.
And today's meditation is all about finding directions.
So I'm going to help you find a little bit of direction.
Once you see this thing in your mind that you know that you need to process through,
It needs to have a decision be made about.
Keep that there in mind for me and let's go on a little journey.
Leave your space using your imagination.
Take all of your attention down to your feet and feel the ground and imagine that you're in the forest,
Barefoot.
Let's go completely barefoot so that you can feel the earth underneath your feet.
You've changed where you're at in your reality.
And as you look up and you look around,
You see trees all over and there's a clear path in front of you that's got soft,
Slightly moist soil and dirt,
Some leaves off the trees,
But it's a nice,
Soft,
Comfortable underground for your feet.
And as you stand there and you connect to your feet,
Whittle your toes,
Your bare feet on this earth and really feel it in your body,
Feel the cool sensation,
Feel the dirt underneath your feet.
And then look back up.
Let's focus on our little walk through the forest.
Maybe you can hear some birds as you start to walk.
Maybe there's some rustles of squirrels or rabbits back far away from you,
But it's completely quiet.
There's nobody else around.
It's like maybe early in the morning,
So it's a little bit cool still.
There's dew on the leaves of the trees and that's why the path underneath your feet is still a little bit cold and damp.
You're walking on the path and then just up ahead you see the path has a fork in the road.
It splits and goes to the left and goes to the right.
I'd like you to make your way up to that point.
Standing at this place,
This is where I'd like you to really focus for me.
Listen and pay attention.
Without putting any thought or feeling into it,
I'd like you to look left and say,
If I go left connected to my decision,
This is what happens.
Really disconnect your emotions at this point.
Just be very flat line,
Like you're writing something down on a grocery list.
If I left,
It goes this way.
If I right,
My decision goes this way.
Very disconnected emotionally,
Please guys.
Just make like a logical blah,
Blah,
Blah decision.
Left means this,
Right means this and then completely let it go.
Just let it go for me.
Push the shopping list to the side and then close your eyes.
Close your eyes.
Let's awaken something inside of us that's very magical.
Start to breathe into your heart space.
And what I mean by that is take your breath in through your nose,
Follow it down your throat,
Down into your lungs,
And then let it pull in the center of your chest.
You'll feel it.
If your very body is sensitive,
You'll feel your breath being pulled into the center of your chest.
If you don't feel it,
Use your imagination.
Use your inner sight and see the breath being pulled down into that space.
Imagine that in the center of your chest,
There's like a lotus flower and it's all closed up.
But every breath that you breathe in is breathing in this morning awakening and your lotus flower starts to open.
And as you breathe out,
You seriously focus on complete relaxation.
You let your shoulders get heavy.
You let your chest get heavy.
So you're breathing in this morning wake up energy.
Breathe it in to the center of your chest.
Start to allow your ribs to open.
Allow your chest to pull up and open up.
Automatically,
You'll feel in your body that your shoulders want to move back a little bit and your chest will want to rise up as if it's getting lighter as it opens and expands to this breath.
And then when you breathe out,
Just completely relax.
No thought,
No thought about anything right now.
Just the sensations in your body as you expand and open your beautiful heart chakra.
Breathe in again,
Nice,
Big,
Deep breath.
Breathe in the morning air.
Breathe it in.
Pull it into the center of your chest.
Feel it open and expand.
Your heart chakra is starting to permeate down into your tummy,
Up into your chest and your throat,
Across your shoulders.
The space is opening and getting bigger and bigger.
And the more it opens and the more it widens and spreads,
The more you can feel a sense of calm,
A sense of complete peace.
Don't forget to relax on the exhale.
You're creating like a place of bliss with your breath connected to your heart center.
So just breathe it in.
Feel it in the center of your chest.
All is well.
And then breathe,
Soften,
Relax as you let go and exhale.
And you'll come into this yummy,
Blissful,
Peaceful place where all is well.
And no matter what is happening,
You are in a good space.
Just a yummy and fully relaxed place.
Now without putting any changes on your focus or attention,
Staying in that floaty,
Open,
Peaceful place,
I'd like you to look at the fork in the road and don't even think.
Choose to go left or right right now.
Just do it.
Making the decision.
You're on the path that you need to be,
Regardless of it's been easy path or difficult path.
This is the path that your subconscious is telling you to go on.
This is the decision that you need to make.
This is the answer to your question.
This is it.
And now that you've made the decision,
You will navigate and find a way on this path.
But this is the path that you are supposed to take at this time.
This is your direction.
Just stop as if you stop walking on the path.
Bring yourself back into complete stillness.
Let go of the path.
Let go of the visualization.
Bring yourself back into your body in your space.
Feel the sit bones on your chair or on your ground wherever you're sat.
Feel your sit bones.
Feel the solidity of that which is holding you.
Make sure that your spine is really nice and straight.
Giving yourself the feeling of motivation,
Determination,
Confidence,
Knowing.
And now all you have to do is go do it.
That's what your straight spine tells your body,
Tells your mind.
That simple action inside of your body tells your mind you're on point.
And now if you'd like to slowly open your eyes,
Come back into your space with me.
