Thank you for joining me for this meditation focused on the Solar Plexus Chakra.

Let's begin by getting comfortable either sitting or lying down,

Whichever works best for you.

And when you're ready,

Let's close our eyes.

We'll start by taking some cleansing breaths,

Breathing deep in through the nostrils.

And slowly exhaling that breath.

And we'll do that again.

Nice deep breath in through the nose.

And nice breath out.

Last time together.

Let's take a nice deep breath in.

And slowly breathe out.

And now your breath can return to its natural rhythm.

Simply breathing in and out.

And we'll take some time here to tune into the sounds and the smells that you are experiencing in your space right now.

Observe.

Don't attach.

And now we'll take some time to tune into the parts of our body that I mentioned.

Starting at our toes and our feet,

Tuning into either temperature,

Physical sensations,

Or even clothing that you may feel.

So down at the toes and the feet,

What is it that you feel right now?

And for a few breaths,

Notice that.

And we'll gently shift our focus,

Shifting up to the calf muscles and the shins.

Noticing any physical sensations,

Temperature,

Clothing.

And now we'll shift up to the thighs and the hamstrings.

Once again,

Notice what you feel.

And bringing our awareness up to the abdomen.

The abdomen and the center of the chest,

The heart center.

Sometimes I place my hand on the belly and the chest as I'm meditating.

It helps me to connect to the breath and the body.

I invite you to gently place your hand on your chest and your abdomen as we're tuning into this part of the body,

Noticing what we feel.

And gently shifting our attention to the back from the shoulder blades down to the lower back,

The base of the spine.

Notice what it is you're feeling.

And now we can bring our awareness up to the shoulders.

This is where I hold most of my attention.

So take a moment and notice what you're feeling in your shoulders.

If you notice tension,

I suggest physically pulling those shoulders away from the ears with every exhale.

And now we can gently move that attention down the arms from the shoulders traveling down the arms to the forearm and the hands and the fingers.

Noticing any temperature change on the fingers,

Clothing on the arms perhaps.

Noticing how relaxed our arms feel.

And now let's bring our attention up to the jaw.

If you notice any tension in the jaw,

You can open your mouth slightly and move your chin from left to right,

Releasing any tension.

Sometimes I open my mouth nice and wide as well.

That helps to release tension from my jaw.

And now let's move up to the forehead.

If our eyes are gently closed,

Then the muscles in the forehead should be nice and relaxed,

Smoothed out.

And now we'll gently shift to our breath.

We're breathing in and out and we have been during this whole meditation.

Let's intentionally pay attention to our inhale.

Feel the air entering the nostrils,

Traveling down into the lungs,

Expanding our chest.

And as we exhale,

We notice the chest fall.

We feel the breath leave the body either through the nostrils or through the mouth,

Extending our exhale,

Releasing our breath,

But also with it tension that we may feel in the muscles.

And then we begin again,

Breathing deep,

Noticing and feeling that breath,

The movement of the body,

The expansion of the lungs and the chest rising.

And we feel that breath leave the body,

The chest fall,

The air warm and tingling,

Leaving through the nostrils or the mouth.

And on our next breath,

I want you to imagine that you're breathing in this beautiful healing energy which will travel to every cell in your body.

Our focus is on that solar plexus chakra,

Which is right above the navel.

And as you're breathing in,

Imagine that energy going right to that solar plexus and this beautiful yellow light surrounding the body.

Our solar plexus is connected to our self-worth,

Our power,

Our purpose,

Our free will and our confidence.

When our solar plexus is balanced,

We feel confident.

We feel our worth and self-love.

We have a sense of empowerment.

We are at peace with life,

Able to take responsibilities for the decisions that we make.

We are motivated.

When our solar plexus isn't balanced,

We may have low self-esteem or confidence.

We may have no sense of purpose or no sense of self-worth,

Insecurity,

Anxious,

Angry.

So continue to breathe deep into that solar plexus chakra,

Imagining a beautiful yellow light surrounding the body.

And as you breathe in,

This energy fills all of the cells of the body,

Helping to open and balance your energy centers.

And as we breathe out,

Releasing tension or anxiety or stress,

We also think these words,

I stand in my personal power.

These words and focusing in on the yellow light and the solar plexus will help to open and balance this energy center.

I stand in my personal power.

So continue this breath,

Breathing deep into the solar plexus energy center above the navel,

Imagining a beautiful warm yellow light surrounding the body.

And as you exhale,

You release,

Release any tension,

Stress,

Anxiety,

Worry,

And repeat those words.

I stand in my personal power.

I stand in my personal power.

We continue to breathe and focus on this breath,

Visualizing warm yellow light,

Noticing the chest rise and fall as we breathe,

Repeating our phrase,

I stand in my personal power.

We continue to meditate in this manner,

Focusing on each and every single breath,

Repeating our affirmation,

Which will help to open and balance this beautiful solar plexus chakra.

I stand in my personal power.

And we repeat this over and over again with every breath.

If you find your thoughts wander,

If you find you become uncomfortable or emotions pop up or sounds around you start to distract you,

That's okay.

Simply come back and connect to your next inhale.

Once you connect to that breath,

Imagine that beautiful yellow light surrounding the body and repeat our affirmation on the exhale,

I stand in my personal power.

You may find you're distracted many times during this meditation by your thoughts.

Please know that is okay.

That's normal.

Once you realize that you are distracted,

Simply connect to the next breath,

That next inhale,

Breathing deep into the solar plexus,

Seeing that yellow beautiful warming light,

Repeating our words.

I stand in my personal power and my voice will become quiet so you can practice this in silence.

When you hear me come back,

Simply listen and I'll guide you to the end of our meditation together.

Let's take a nice deep breath here.

On the exhale,

Make sure you're releasing that affirmation in our focus.

Allow your attention to wander back to the sounds and the smells in the room.

Bring your awareness back to your physical body starting at the forehead and the jaw,

Noticing how they feel now.

Bringing your attention to your shoulders,

Your shoulders and then your arms all the way down to your hands and your fingers.

Shift that awareness to the back from the shoulder blades to the base of the spine.

How's your back feeling now?

And bring that attention back to the heart center and the abdomen.

Breathing deep into these spaces once more.

And notice how your legs feel from the hips all the way down to the toes.

And now let's bring some movement back into this still body.

Wiggle those fingers and toes if you like.

Rotating your wrists and your ankles.

Perhaps even stretching the arms and legs.

And we'll take one more deep breath here and exhale that breath.

And remember you are safe,

You are worthy and you are loved.

Thank you for joining me for this solar plexus chakra meditation and don't forget to stand in your personal power.

Have a great day.

Thank you, Elizabeth! Your Solar Plexus Chakra meditation was marvelously effective and I was pleasantly surprised by how differently you’d phrased your creation than other artists here have. Of course the “secret added seasoning” (the extra characteristic that made it just that much more special, for me) was the discovery that you’re in the next town over! As such, do you offer any local classes? If so, I’d love to attend one!
