Blessings and welcome to The Path to Freedom.
My name is Daniel Roquejo and I bid you welcome,
Welcome,
Welcome to this session.
From the bottom of my heart,
I'm so happy and I'm so grateful that you're choosing to join me,
That you're choosing to participate in a moment of expanding our consciousness and raising our vibration so that we may be forever increasingly beneficial presences on this planet,
So that we may forever allow for greater and greater expressions of who and what we are to emerge.
Today's theme is practice does not necessarily make perfect.
Practice does not necessarily make perfect and I'm trusting that you heard that old statement that practice makes perfect and I want to put a spin on that statement a little bit because while there is lots of truth in that statement that whatever we practice,
Practice,
Practice,
Practice,
Practice eventually becomes habitual and in a sense becomes something that we perfect.
However,
We want to be very aware and conscious of what it is that we are perfecting because lots,
Lots and lots of people have perfected being in fear,
Have perfected being in worry,
Have perfected being in doubt,
Have perfected blaming and pointing fingers,
Have perfected taking on the victim suit through endless,
Endless,
Endless repetition and so what we want to be aware of is where we are turning our attention.
What are we habitually talking about,
Thinking about,
Feeling about?
What are we habitually engaging in?
Are we in the habit of uplifting others?
In the habit of inspiring others?
Empowering others?
Or are we in the habit of trash-talking or gossiping or talking behind others' backs?
Are we in the habit of leaning into empowering affirmations?
All is well,
So peace be still.
Something wonderful is always happening.
Everything is working for the highest good.
God is good.
I ain't got R1.
Or are we rehearsing how there is lack and scarcity in the world?
Are we rehearsing these egoic core beliefs?
I am not enough and there is not enough.
Is that what we habitually are perfecting?
So we want to be very mindful of what we think and what we talk about and what we feel so that we can begin to release and let go that which no longer serves us and to begin to practice and rehearse and repeat and repeat and repeat that which does serve us.
Powerful spiritual principles and affirmations,
They serve us.
But are we in the habit of perfecting them?
Coming back to the nowness of this moment,
Coming back to the breath and beginning again,
That serves us.
But are we in the habit of perfecting that?
Taking every opportunity we have to log on to social media,
To get likes or to comment or to seek to stay in the quote-unquote informed loop,
That doesn't necessarily serve us.
But blessing others,
Praying for others,
Celebrating abundance,
Celebrating beauty,
Celebrating wholeness in every given moment,
In any given moment,
Coming back to gratitude,
That is something that is worthwhile perfecting.
And so we want to,
On a regular basis,
Stop and observe our minds and ask ourselves kind of,
What am I perfecting?
What am I practicing?
What am I rehearsing?
What am I habitually talking about and thinking about and feeling about?
Does it serve me or does it not?
Does it call forth the good that I desire?
Does it move me into vibrational alignment with the good that I desire?
Or am I calling forth something that I do not desire?
Am I habitually turning my attention toward the good that I do desire?
Or am I habitually turning my attention toward that which I don't desire?
The sacred laws don't care.
They don't care what we turn our attention to.
All they care about is where we turn our attention,
And that is what we're calling forth.
So we want to be mindful and we want to be observant and we want to witness what we are perfecting.
Practice does make perfect,
But are what we're practicing actually serving us?
That's the big question.
That's the big one.
All right,
So I'm trusting that this is planted seeds within you,
And I just want to say before we end this session that whenever we engage in self-observation or self-introspection,
Whatever we become aware of,
We are very wise to not judge ourselves,
To not beat ourselves up for perhaps not having been able to live up to our high and ridiculous standards as to what we should be able to do.
But we want to always be loving and kind towards ourselves.
Embrace and allow whatever we observe,
Whatever we witness,
Whatever we become aware of,
Because awareness,
The awareness itself,
Births freedom.
In any given moment,
Every one of us,
Every single one of us is doing the very best that we know how to do,
Always to the very best of our ability,
And sometimes we fall short of our own expectations and opinions and judgments as to what should and should not be.
That was a little passes on the side.
All right,
So until the next time,
Thank you so,
So much for tuning in,
For listening.
I bless,
Bless,
Bless your day and I bless,
Bless,
Bless your way.
Namaste.
