Hello sweet beings and welcome to this space of slowing down and honoring self.

The meditation that we're going to practice together today is a meditation about filling your own cup.

It's about the process and the practice of receiving because we know you cannot pour from an empty cup.

So get comfortable.

Find a position that lends to attentiveness but also a little bit of relaxation and softening.

Maybe close the eyes and soften the fists.

Relax the body,

The teeth,

The tongue.

Relax the shoulders,

The back,

The belly,

The chest.

And then take a big breath in with me.

Breathe it in through the nose and let's take an exhale out of the mouth.

And then just bring your attention to your natural,

Normal breath.

Feel the way that the breath moves in and out of the body.

And do this for a few moments,

Tuning into the breath,

Tuning into your rhythm.

And as you feel yourself arrive more fully in the space that you are,

I want you to begin envisioning yourself in a really beautiful space.

I want you to imagine yourself in your own mind's eye somewhere absolutely stunning.

And it might be in the mountains or the forest.

It might be a particular place that you frequent.

It might be floating in the middle of the ocean or down a river,

But I want you to see this as clearly as you can in your own mind.

Notice how being in this space,

This beautiful landscape,

Automatically starts to lighten your heart.

And as you envision this,

I also want you to see that in the distance there are beautiful people walking toward you.

And at first you might not see who it is,

But eventually you start to recognize these faces as all of the people in your entire life that you've played a role in.

All of the people that you've helped,

All of the people that you've loved,

All of the people whose lives you've touched in some way or another.

Imagine them joining you in this space.

Your brothers and sisters and mothers and fathers,

Cousins and friends and neighbors and teachers,

Students and teammates and strangers on the streets that you've absolutely smiled at before.

I want you to imagine that they're all gathering here with you in this beautiful space for a very particular reason.

I want you to imagine that they are here to say thank you.

I want you to imagine that they have brought heaps and loads of love and compassion and gratitude to give to you.

And as they gather with you in this space,

I want you to imagine that one by one they approach you with a hug or a handshake or a smile or an energetic exchange that starts to fill you up.

As these compliments and these appreciation come to you,

Imagine that light starts to beam from your own center,

From your own heart.

More and more and more thankfulness coming your way for all of the many things that you've given and done in your own life.

For all of the ways that you've shown up.

Imagine these waves of gratitude washing over you.

And the light that was emanating from your heart starts to move through your entire body.

It starts to radiate through your hands and your feet and the tippy top of your head.

This love and compassion and gratitude that all of these people have brought to you starts to move into and through your own body.

Feel that.

And as you're here with all of these beautiful people in this beautiful space,

You can help us smile and share and shine this light.

And then I want you to imagine that one by one,

Each of these individuals that has brought you a gift today starts to leave.

But even though they go,

This light,

This love,

This compassion and gratitude that is deeply saturating every cell,

Every bit of tissue in your body stays right where you are.

That as these beautiful people leave,

You are left standing,

Sitting or lying down with a beautiful light emanating from your body.

And once the final person has gone,

I want you to take a moment to hold the thankfulness in your own heart.

Feel it vibrate in your own chest,

In your own heart space.

And then you yourself start to leave that beautiful space to come back to where you are right now.

And with you comes all of that love,

All of that gratitude,

All of that compassion,

Radiating,

Glowing from your own body,

From your own beingness.

Be there in that energy for a few breaths.

And when at last you're ready to come back to return,

I want you to start to move the body in subtle ways,

Start to blink open and close the eyes,

Bring yourself back into the room that you're in or the space that you're in.

And smile big,

Knowing that your cup is absolutely overflowing,

So very full,

Which allows you to go out and pour into the world.

We will close this space together,

But this space is never really closed.

Return again and again and again as often as you need.

From my heart directly to yours.

Namaste.
