Hello,
I'm Diana.
I'd like to welcome you to this meditation,
Realize the Power of Your Word.
I'd like to invite you to begin by finding a place where you can be alone for the duration of this meditation.
A place where you can put your device down and have some earphones in or on.
A place where you can sit comfortably with your back supported and your feet flat on the floor.
Or you can decide to put your feet up when you so desire.
When you prefer to do so,
You can also choose to lay down,
But ideally in a place where you do not normally sleep,
So that you can stay awake for the duration of this meditation.
Make sure that you stay warm during this meditation,
So maybe use a blanket to cover yourself when that's needed.
Please relax as much as you can and let my voice guide you through this meditation.
Gently close your eyes and start relaxing and noticing the present moment that you are experiencing right now.
Feel your body.
Be aware of your thoughts and notice your breath.
Start paying attention to your breath.
Continue to breathe in and out at a pace that feels comfortable to you.
Feel how the cold air comes into your nose when you breathe in and the warm air leaves your nose when you breathe out.
Keep paying attention to your breath.
Just observe it.
Don't change anything.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth,
Slowly and gently.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
Feel your jaw soften.
Notice your belly rise and fall.
Let your body arrive fully here.
With every exhale imagine releasing anything that doesn't serve your presence in this moment.
This can be tension or maybe it's worry and maybe you notice some distractions.
Let it all go for now.
Breathe in stillness and breathe out everything else.
Stay here with your breath,
Slowly deepening the rhythm.
For the next few minutes,
I will let you know when one minute has passed and again when we are at the end of it,
At the two minute mark.
It's been one minute.
We'll stay with the breath.
For another minute.
Now we will continue.
As our two minutes are up,
We will go for the silent practice.
What I invite you to do is that when thoughts arise,
And they certainly will,
That you try to let them pass like clouds in a white sky.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the listener beneath them.
So feel the quiet beneath your breath and stay there and be held by the silence.
I will again let you know when one minute has passed and again when we finish at the two minute mark.
It's been one minute.
We'll stay in silent contemplation for another minute.
It's been two minutes.
I'd like you to begin to bring your awareness to the idea that your word,
Spoken and unspoken,
Holds power.
Power to build up and power to tear down.
Power to bless or power to curse.
Power to heal and power to harm.
Feel into the weight of that,
The beauty of that power.
But also the responsibility of that power.
That you're standing in a vast open field.
The sky is bright and endless above you.
The land beneath you is rich and fertile.
In your hands you hold a small seed.
This seed is your word.
You gently press it into the soil of the earth and you speak a truth over it.
I am love.
And instantly a tender sprout emerges.
You speak again.
I am worthy.
And the sprout grows.
With every word you speak,
Rooted in truth,
Love and clarity,
This plant grows taller,
Fuller and more vibrant.
See this plant as your life.
Fed by your words,
Sustained by your integrity and shaped by what you declare and affirm.
Stay in this visualization and tend to this garden of truth.
Notice how it feels to use your words with care,
With presence and with purpose.
What do you want your words to grow?
What have your words grown in the past?
What are your thoughts and what might need uprooting?
Breathe into these reflections.
And now,
I'd like you to bring your attention inward.
We'll move into self-inquiry.
Ask yourself gently,
No judgment,
Just discernment and deep honesty.
Rest with each question.
Let insights rise,
Not from the mind,
But from the heart and soul.
If it is helpful to you,
Place a hand on your heart or your solar plexus.
I'll be quiet after each question for you to contemplate it.
Ask yourself,
When have I used my word to speak truth,
Beauty or encouragement?
When have I used my word carelessly or even hurtfully?
Are there words that I speak about myself that need to be re-evaluated?
What if every word I spoke was a prayer,
A spell or a seed?
What stories am I speaking into my own life daily?
Let your word return to its rightful place,
A sacred gift,
A divine channel,
A tool for conscious creation.
And now,
I'd like to invite you to join me with some affirmations.
So,
I will say each affirmation and then afterwards,
You can speak it out loud or silently in your heart.
I honor the sacred power of my word.
My word is aligned with truth,
Love and clarity.
I speak only what I mean and I mean what I speak.
My words bless,
Build and beautify.
I release all words that do not serve my highest self.
I choose impeccable speech within and without.
I speak healing over myself and others.
My word is a gift,
A creation and a reflection of my divine origin.
I speak only what I want to create.
I speak only what I love.
Breathe in this truth.
Let it settle into your bones.
Let these affirmations ripple into your future conversations,
Thoughts and intentions.
Now return to the silence,
But this time hold the silence differently,
Not as emptiness but as a space of power.
In this stillness,
I invite you to recommit to your word,
To honor it,
To guard it.
To speak only what builds.
I will let you know when one minute has passed and again when two minutes have passed.
It's been one minute,
We'll stay in silent contemplation for another minute.
It's been two minutes.
When you feel ready,
You can start to gently come back to the here and now.
Come back into the room,
Into your body,
Into your consciousness,
Your awareness and into your mind.
Take your space into this world back.
And as you're coming back into the present moment,
Let yourself explore and say yes to the emotions that will continue to amplify.
The emotions of joy,
Peace and of relaxation during the rest of your day and the time to come.
Know that you can decide to continue to feel this way.
Take a deep breath and let go when you're ready.
While keeping your eyes closed,
Notice the sounds around you.
Notice how your body feels.
Feel the surface that you're sitting or lying on under your body.
Feel the surface that your feet are on.
And feel your clothing on your body.
Move your fingers a little.
Wiggle your toes a little.
And gently circle your shoulders.
Gently move your head from side to side and become more and more present.
Welcome joy,
Peace and comfort to continue being with you on your path,
Today and in the time to come.
Take a deep breath and let go when you're ready.
And when you feel ready to do so,
You can gently open your eyes,
Fully coming back to the present moment.
Stay seated for a little bit more.
Look around the room and notice a few things around you.
And when you feel ready to do so,
You can sit up.
You can stand up.
And you can return to going about your day.
And know that you can carry this remembrance with you.
Your word is a gift from God and your greatest tool for creation.
Go forward with care,
Clarity and power in your speech,
Within and without.
Thank you for joining me today.
