Inner Child Guided Meditation A meditation for self-regulation,

Releasing stress,

And cultivating calm and inner peace from within.

This guided meditation is designed to help you deeply relax,

Dissolve stress and tension,

Get out of overthinking,

Worrying,

As well as feelings of overwhelm,

And feel deeply safe,

Loved and supported.

Begin to build a healthy,

Strong,

Secure and accurate self-image that allows you to move into the world with ease,

Creativity and confidence,

And to experience deep fulfillment and success as a result.

By practicing this meditation regularly,

You will develop one of the most reliable and effective support systems for yourself,

So that you may achieve your deepest intentions and dreams,

While learning to deeply love yourself at the most fundamental level.

Over time,

Going deeper and deeper with each repetition,

This meditation will help you to rewire your brain by dissolving old neural pathways that distort your perception of self and reality,

And replacing them with new,

Strong and coherent neural pathways that support building a strong,

Balanced and self-empowered sense of self.

This will allow you to feel deeply safe and secure in yourself,

And therefore in every situation and challenge you meet in life.

This meditation will also help you learn how to cultivate and feel deep self-love,

Support and self-protection.

So let's begin.

If you'll find a comfortable place where you can lie down,

Preferably in a dark room or with minimum light filtering into the space.

Alternatively,

If you cannot lie down,

Just find a place where you can comfortably sit and relax your body.

Now,

If you'll allow your facial muscles to relax,

Releasing any tension in your face,

Brows,

Temples,

Cheeks and jaw,

And feeling your eyes so deeply relaxed,

As if they are sinking into their eye sockets and your eyelids become heavy,

And you feel your eyes gently closing.

As your eyes gently close,

Feel yourself relaxing more deeply,

Gradually disconnecting from visual and other sensory stimuli,

So that you can move inward more deeply and relax even more.

And taking a moment to use your imagination to bring a smile into your brain,

And then your heart,

And finally,

Your gut.

Imagine or feel that you could smile in that part of your body,

And notice the effects of smiling into that part,

Both how it makes you feel and how your body responds.

Becoming aware,

Through your own personal experience,

Of the beneficial effects of smiling into different parts of your body,

And in particular,

Into any part of your body where you may be experiencing tension,

Pain or discomfort.

Intending to relax more and more,

Intending to relax more and more deeply,

As you gently scan your body for any place of tension or discomfort or pain,

And bring your awareness into that space,

Until the tension,

Discomfort or pain dissolves,

Through your intention,

Your presence,

Your awareness,

And your gentleness towards yourself and your body.

And by smiling into that part of your body that may be aching or contracting around some type of internal or external stimuli,

And if you choose,

Bringing your left hand to your heart and placing your right hand on any part of your body where you're still holding onto any tension,

Pain or discomfort,

Allowing the tension,

Pain or discomfort to gradually dissolve as you bring your awareness and your love to that part of you and you gently bring a smile into it too.

Maybe even mentally or out loud saying I love you to that part of your body or to your whole body as you bring this internal smile and feeling into how your body softens as it feels and receives your gentle and tender love and feel the energy start to flow more freely and smoothly through your body and your nervous system begin to self-regulate as you continue to bring your awareness to areas where the energy wasn't flowing freely and you smile and bring love into those parts of you.

Feel that and allow yourself to relax even more deeply taking a nice sharp inhale through your nose followed by a shorter inhale also through your nose at the top of your inhale and exhaling slowly and intentionally through your mouth with the sound allowing any frustration or stress that gets stored in the body in the form of heat and other stuck energies to flow out smoothly and naturally gently and gradually releasing any sense of pressure self-pressurization or anything else that brings up a feeling of contraction or tension so that the body can relax even more and if you're still feeling any remaining tension,

Stress,

Pain or discomfort feel free to repeat this same breathing pattern of inhaling through your nose adding a short inhale through your nose at the top of your inhalation and then exhaling all the air out of your lungs through your mouth making the sound and letting go even deeper deeper than ever before than ever before allowing stress,

Tension,

Pain,

Discomfort and any feeling of pressure,

Contraction or frustration to unwind and release with each new breath allowing more and more feelings of freedom and lightness as you let go,

Relax and open more continuously choosing to surrender anything that you become aware of as it comes up and that's preventing you from moving deeper inward and relaxing more including surrendering your thoughts noticing the thoughts that arise throughout the entire process of unwinding what you've been holding on to whether that was a conscious process or not and as you notice the thoughts passing through your mind simply saying oh isn't this interesting and not placing any more attention or energy on the thought than that receiving each new thought being born into your mind with playful explorative curiosity oh another thought birthing itself from me,

How interesting,

What about that?

And thought by thought becoming more and more detached from the mind as if witnessing thoughts moving through your mind without animating any of them simply being with each thought until it dissolves and another thought emerges and you're not in the slightest activated or bothered by the thought or any more interested than just noticing how thoughts form and dissolve thought by thought one after another slightly amused curious and intrigued by how fertile and creative your mind can be and gently redirecting your attention to your breath and to your body as you allow thoughts to move through your mind undisturbed and also gently and lovingly coming back to your intention to surrender your body deeper and deeper so that you can experience the deepest state of relaxation and surrender even focusing on feeling the body sinking deeper and deeper into the ground whether you are lying down or sitting as to promote greater grounding,

Centering,

Soothing and thus deeper and deeper relaxation even focusing on feeling the body sinking deeper and deeper onto the surface that you're on whether you are lying down or sitting as to promote greater grounding,

Centering,

Soothing and thus deeper and deeper relaxation as you feel your body sinking deeper and deeper into the ground now in this state of deep relaxation if you'll become aware of the parts of you that are feeling the need for safety,

Love,

Affection connection and support lovingly acknowledging all your emotional needs whatever they might be as valid,

Good,

Supportive,

Resourcing and truly helpful to you and leading to greater well-being,

Self-love and deep integration truly valuing your unique emotional needs and learning how to fulfill your own emotional needs such that you feel safe,

Loved,

Resourced,

Nurtured,

Nourished and supported in every dimension of your being and of your life now in this state of becoming ever more attuned with yourself and your unique emotional needs deeply in touch with what brings you a sense of being loved,

Nurtured,

Nourished and feeling safe and supported in the world feel into the need to be held held in your own arms as well as in the arms of deeply loving self-regulated,

Grounded,

Calm,

Relaxed and present parents now this may not have been how you grew up and that's completely okay you don't need to have had a prior experience of having been held in this most loving and safe way for you to imagine it and create these new experiences within yourself new experiences which when created in your imagination and repeated time after time become as real as prior experiences which may not have been as positive or supportive of your emotional needs being met and so in this way the new experiences you imagine come to replace the old experiences over time so that you may begin to repattern your brain and your nervous system and recondition your mind and your body to new states of thinking feeling and being that are more aligned with the kinds of life experiences that you envision for yourself and that you choose to have and if you'll just allow this repatterning to naturally take place without thinking about it by simply imagining,

Envisioning and feeling into the new experiences you wish to invite into your inner space inviting experiences of being deeply held in the loving embrace of present,

Self-regulated,

Loving parents whose attention is completely focused on you and your emotional well-being being aware that your brain,

Your nervous system and your biology don't make any distinction between what we call a more objective form of reality or imagination and so whatever you imagine triggers the same cascade of chemicals and bodily sensations as any real experience and if you'd feel the truth of this and let yourself imagine what it might have been like to be held in safety,

Love and support and you may not have experienced this before but you can experience it now and so feeling into what it would feel like to be held in safety,

Love and support and bringing these feelings and the associated sensations and all other experiences that come with cultivating,

Feeling completely held,

Loved,

Supported and feeling safe into any parts of you that may at times get triggered or go into a state of stress self-doubt,

Uncertainty or even overwhelm gently touching with your imagination into those moments when you don't feel so sure of yourself or you reach into someone else's energy to get a sense of whether you are safe or not moments when you may momentarily lose yourself and become a little less regulated as a result of reaching into others for a sense of self and safety gently feeling into the edge of these moments and these ungrounding experiences without losing yourself and intending and choosing to give yourself the love,

Safety and support that you feel you need in those moments and imagining going back to the time when you were just a little baby an infant and you were completely dependent on the adults around you,

The ones who took care of you and all you needed as this little baby was to be held,

Loved,

Cared for,

Kept in safety and supported kept in safety and supported being this little baby now and remembering or imagining what it felt like to be this beautiful,

Innocent,

Pure little baby allowing yourself to feel what it was like to be in this tiny little body of yours to the best of your ability your little baby self remembering,

Sensing,

Imagining or feeling your baby self and that precious soft and supple little body of yours and feel yourself as the little baby being held your little baby self being held in your own arms imagining and feeling what it feels like to be held in your own arms and the sense of safety,

Well-being,

Love and support you derive from this repeated experience that you choose again and again for yourself because you know deep inside how much you gain from this your adult self holding your baby self and focusing in this moment on yourself as the baby being held by your adult self on yourself as the baby being held by your adult self the little baby in a state of deep surrender as a result of feeling completely safe,

Loved and supported and feeling or imagining your baby self resting on the chest of your adult self right on top of your adult self's heart feeling that deeply and the deep love,

Peace,

Sense of safety and emotional well-being that comes with it feel your body softening in response to your baby self being held in this way and feeling that all your emotional needs are being met in this very moment now still feeling your baby self being held on the heart space of your adult self if you'll move your awareness to your adult self and see and feel what it feels like as your adult self to be holding your baby self in this tender and loving way feel into how your adult self wants to love and meet the emotional needs of your baby self in this moment and simply choose to meet all of your baby self's needs in this very moment and feel into what's natural,

What's wholesome and what opens your adult self's heart more and more deeply through this beautiful experience holding your baby self in your arms and giving your baby self everything you sense your baby self is needing in this very moment naturally,

Softly,

Lovingly,

Gently and feeling deeply grateful and appreciative for the opportunity to hold yourself in this way and to love yourself in such a deep and unconditional way and moving back and forth between your baby self and your adult self feeling what it feels like to give and receive this love and to give and receive emotional safety,

Love and support with this depth of intention and even observing from a third-party perspective as this is happening seeing your adult self holding your baby self in this way and noticing what that brings up for you as you witness this kind of loving and supportive embrace and holding taking a moment to see,

Feel,

Imagine or sense this experience and all the goodness and well-being that arises from within you as you do feel yourself unwinding,

Opening and relaxing more deeply and if anything else comes up for you as you continue to unwind if you'll meet what's arising within you with that same love,

Softness,

Gentleness and kindness and simply keep returning to this holding and the experience of this holding from the first,

Second and even from the third person's perspective and as you continue to hold your baby self you may now imagine,

Sense or feel as though you are now continuously holding your baby self inside of your heart maybe even imagining the hologram of your baby self resting in your heart space all the time and feeling what it feels like to hold your baby self in this way all the time and intending to remember to do this now and throughout the day and connecting to what it would feel like to hold your baby self in your heart all day,

Every day waking up like this,

Holding your baby self going to bed like this,

Holding your baby self and feeling into all the love,

Support,

Well-being and the feelings of safety that you derive from this holding and returning to this safe and loving holding and embrace anytime you forget or anytime you feel yourself becoming dysregulated or feeling into someone else's dysregulation as in when you're feeling like you're losing yourself and feeling stressed or overwhelming anyway coming back again and again to this safe and loving holding of your baby self from within your own heart holding your baby self in your own heart and feeling how much calmer,

More grounded,

Present,

Peaceful,

Safe and secure you feel when you're connecting to this holding and the depth of love,

Safety and support that it provides for you now,

If you'll imagine or feel into some type of archetypal or divine parent in the image of what would be a perfect parent that can provide this safe,

Secure,

Loving,

Nurturing and supportive holding and embrace for you and it may be an archetypal type of parent that you recognize as someone who is or was a role model for you or it may be more of a divine archetype in whichever form you see or imagine some form of parent that provides protection,

Safety,

Love and support it doesn't matter what form they take for you as long as the experience supports you in feeling safe,

Secure,

Nurtured,

Deeply loved and supported by this archetypal parent,

This perfect parent for you and it may be a feminine or a masculine archetype or it may be both or it may change from moment to moment based on what you feel in that moment and the kind of love and support you feel the need for just let yourself feel into whatever you feel the need for right now feminine or masculine support or both gently asking yourself what do i feel i need most right now let yourself feel that and feel one or both archetypal parents holding you in their arms on either sides or both sides of you cradling you in their arms holding you in such a way that it brings you a sense of safety,

Protection,

Love and support and knowing that this holding is just for you that their attention is truly on you not your dysregulation but your very core and feeling that they are completely here with you and for you that they are solid,

Strong,

Present and grounded and that they are not going anywhere feel your baby self being held in the loving and safe arms of your perfect parents and also feel your baby self being held in your own heart as your adult self is being held by this archetypal perfect parent mother or father or both providing you with the deepest sense of safety,

Security,

Love and support and connecting to one or two archetypal parents that are completely loving,

Present,

Attentive and supportive of you focus completely on you and just you,

Your very core,

Your very essence one or two archetypal or divine parents holding your present self while you hold your baby self in your own heart space one or both perfect parents completely focused on you and the essence of your being bringing you support,

Love,

Nurturing and a deep sense of being held and feeling safe in the world maybe for the very first time and feeling your body softening and surrendering into this holding even more as you surrender deeper and deeper into their safe and loving embrace feeling completely safe in the gentle and loving embrace of this divine or archetypal parent or parents who are simply there for you to accept,

Love,

Support and hold you just as you are without anything needing to change or to be different two beautiful,

Selfless,

Perfect parents loving and supporting you completely as you are right now feeling into what it feels like to receive this kind of holding and how it changes you fundamentally feeling your breath becoming more easeful and relaxed feeling your muscles and your whole body relax deeper and deeper as you receive such deep love and support feeling your nervous system responding to this holding as you feel safer than ever before more supported,

Nurtured,

Accepted,

Protected and loved than you've ever felt before giving yourself this experience and allowing your body to soak in the bliss that arises as a result of this holding relaxing,

Restoring and rejuvenating you at the deepest level of your being and choosing to remember what it feels like to be held in this way so that you may return to this holding again and again and learn to soothe yourself and regulate yourself in the midst of any and all life situations no matter how challenging they may feel in that moment and allowing this holding to support you and bring you a deep sense of safety,

Resourcefulness and connection that can never be taken away from you a state of being and an experience that you can return to anytime you feel the need to be held in safety,

Love and support and anchoring this experience deep inside your heart the heart of baby you and the heart of adult you so that you may always remember and learn to recall this energy in times when you feel that you need it the most and remaining aware of this holding and the connection that you've created and that you can choose to come back to at any moment if you'll slowly begin to come back to the here and now with your baby self still being held in your heart space and your adult self and your baby self being held in the heart of your divine,

Archetypal,

Parent or parents and making this your new reality,

Your new experience of self and life because you feel and sense the value and the benefits of this kind of holding and as you return to the space that you're in still holding the baby and to the time that you're in a time where you can always be holding the baby in your heart space deeply knowing and feeling that you can meet life with a deep sense of safety,

Love and support when you remember to hold your baby self and as you remember to hold your baby self now,

Today,

In the past,

In the present and in the future,

Always and forever feel yourself profoundly transformed by this experience able to give yourself the kind of love,

Safety and support that you need whenever you need it most and when you are ready,

Always holding the baby and feeling the baby being held in love and safety you can gently and lovingly open your eyes and breathe love,

Safety and support into your beautiful and loving heart your baby and your adult self's heart now,

Today,

In the past,

In the present,

In the future,

Always and forever

This meditation is literally one of a kind. It is so aethereal, rarefied, almost as if it was suspended in a timeless space and time, where nothing happens - and yet everything happens, magically, at the same time.
