Welcome to this meditation on the concept of being empty to be full.

Finding a calm and peaceful space within yourself as we explore the courage of embracing emptiness as a path to fulfillment.

If you haven't already,

Finding yourself a comfortable position.

This could be laying down,

Maybe sitting in a comfortable seat,

Legs in crisscross,

Spine straight,

Shoulders relaxed and relaxing the space in between your eyebrows and relaxing your jaw.

Let go of any distractions and allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.

Beginning to bring your awareness into your breath,

Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your belly and chest as you inhale and exhale.

Breathe deeply,

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your nose.

If it feels better you can also sigh it out,

Exhaling through the mouth,

Allowing the body to relax even more with every exhale.

With each breath,

Release any tension in your body,

Letting go of any thoughts or worries that may be lingering.

Now imagine yourself as an empty cup,

Waiting to be filled with the boundless waters of the ocean.

Beginning to visualize any attachments or preconceived notions you may be holding on to,

Allowing them to float away in the sky like clouds.

Maybe witnessing and observing those attachments,

Those patterns,

Those thoughts.

Allow yourself to release these attachments with each breath,

With each exhale,

Creating space within you.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Bring your attention to your heart center.

Imagine a warm and radiant light growing within you with every breath,

Feeling the heart and the ribs expand with every inhale,

Feeling that light shine brighter.

This light represents the potential for fulfillment,

Happiness,

And growth that lies within emptiness,

Much like the vastness of the ocean held within a cup.

Now consider the areas in your life where you feel constricted or stuck.

Reflect on any beliefs,

Habits,

Or negative emotions that might be holding you back,

And embrace the idea that by emptying yourself of these limitations,

You create room for the ocean of possibilities to pour into your cup.

As you sit in this state of openness,

Remember that emptiness is not a void,

But a vessel for potential.

Just as a cup must be empty to hold the ocean's waters,

You too must empty yourself to be filled with new experiences,

Knowledge,

And joy.

Shift your awareness and attention back to your breath,

Allowing it to guide you through this journey of self-discovery.

With each inhale,

Imagine the vastness of the ocean pouring into your cup,

Filling you with its wisdom,

Creativity,

And endless potential.

And with each exhale,

Release any resistance to change or growth,

Allowing yourself to fully embrace the ocean's flow.

You can embody this by releasing any tension that's still in the muscles,

Maybe in the face.

See if you can relax any part of your body even more.

Now envision your life unfolding with this newfound understanding.

See yourself embracing change,

Letting go of attachments,

And welcoming the unknown with curiosity and excitement.

Much like a cup joyfully receiving the ocean's waves,

Embracing the beauty of uncertainty and the freedom it brings.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Take a few more deep breaths,

Feeling the energy of emptiness filling you like the ocean fills the cup,

Bringing a sense of wholeness and fulfillment,

And taking your time.

And when you're ready,

Slowly opening up your eyes,

Keeping the gaze soft,

And bringing this feeling of openness and potential with you.
