One of the most important pieces to self-care on any given day is your propensity to feel love.
If this is a practice,
If this is a daily ritual that you welcome with a loving attitude,
Then it becomes an important way to begin each day and to foster the love and appreciation of the journey before you.
This practice is to sit with your eyes gently closed for two to three minutes.
I invite you to close your eyes with me now,
To settle into a comfortable posture,
To first cultivate a stillness in your body,
Felt as a gentle,
Calm presence.
Peace.
Let's do this together.
As you remain with your breath,
You anchor yourself in the present moment.
This practice is a wonderful,
Simple tool for engaging in now,
In returning to now again and often.
It's usually in the quiet moments of early morning and when you first arrive in the space of being.
The space and light of a new day.
And sometimes,
Often in fact,
It will be the darkness of early morning,
Not yet light.
And this is what becomes the moments of identifying with,
Of remembering your true source of love and compassion as easily accessible to you.
It will be easier to sit here in the space of pure oneness,
You and all of eternity.
There is nothing else in these moments to do.
Take in the quiet,
The peace,
The presence of now.
And then to recognize,
To find yourself here and in the space and time of eternity.
Expressed through the bounty of the present.
Feel the energy of your heart swell.
Notice this energy.
You can call on its presence,
Giving it attention now because you have found this feeling.
This presence,
This peace.
You can return to it,
Merge with it again and again.
You can feel the energy of your heart.
You can feel the energy of your heart.
You can feel the energy of your heart.
You can feel the energy of your heart.
You can feel the energy of your heart.
With the presence of this moment and your awareness of now,
You begin to notice more.
You choose loving-kindness and the feelings that it allows and cultivates.
Then you can remember,
This is the feeling I experience whenever I practice love,
Whenever I am in a state of love.
I am love.
And then you may continue to seek out and live more of your life in the expression of these moments,
One and the next.
Begin with now.
Return to now often,
Here and in your presence.
Simply acknowledge the peace and calm that is your true nature.
To feel it,
You need to be present in now,
In forever.
Namaste.
