This is a meditation designed to allow you to access and discover your heart's deepest desire and then create space to allow it to manifest in your life.
So now I invite you to take a comfortable position,
Whether that's sitting down,
Standing,
Or lying down.
Try to be the most comfortable that you can right now,
Allowing your body to feel supported and at ease.
Taking the first few moments of this meditation to settle into a sweet space in the body,
Allowing yourself to drop into the body,
Letting go of any thoughts that might be preoccupying you.
Using your breath as an anchor to drop into the body,
Taking a deep inhale,
Filling the lungs and body with air,
Holding for a moment at the top,
And then letting out an audible exhale.
Doing that again,
Taking a deep inhale,
Filling the lungs and the abdomen with air,
Holding for a moment,
And releasing the breath.
One more deep breath.
Just seeing what there is to feel in the body right now.
Your feet against the floor.
What's the temperature of your hands?
If you're seated,
Can you feel the backs of your legs and back against a chair?
Can you feel your body being supported in this space?
Doing a quick scan of the body,
What stands out to you?
Are there any places where you're holding tension?
Or any parts of your body that can be relaxed?
Where are you holding?
Where can you let go just a little bit?
Your passions and desires are always within you,
And the work isn't finding them outside of yourself or adding anything,
But rather peeling back the layers,
Letting go of obstacles that separate you from your life's purpose and your passions.
Once again,
Feeling deeply into the body.
What is your body calling you to do?
Are there any movements or stretches that would feel like a gift?
Perhaps you're being called to sway side to side.
Letting go of inhibition and allowing your body to do what it wants.
How does the body feel now?
Where in the body can you feel sweetness?
Are there any places that have pleasurable sensations?
Where in your body do you feel at ease right now?
And what does that feel like?
If you notice anything in your posture,
The way you're sitting or standing,
That would allow you to be more comfortable.
Allow yourself to make that shift now.
Now perhaps placing a hand on your heart and maybe on your stomach,
Asking yourself the questions,
What makes my heart sing?
What makes me feel truly alive?
What is the thing that when I'm doing it,
Or I'm around these people,
I feel like I'm living my life's purpose?
What do I need more of in my life?
Ask yourself these questions and just rest and allow your body time to answer.
Maybe the question is,
What do I need less of in my life?
If your answer to these questions is,
I don't know,
Allow that to be okay in this moment.
And simply allow yourself the hope that you might know in the future.
Allow yourself the space for those questions to plant a seed and blossom when the answer is ready to be known to you.
And let that be enough for now.
Maybe something vaguely came to mind,
An image or a feeling,
Or maybe something really crystal clear came up for you and you feel a certainty around it.
I invite you to imagine the details of whatever came up,
Whether it was a phrase,
A memory,
Images,
Or words.
If it was an image,
Try to picture it very clearly in your mind's eye.
What are you seeing?
What are you feeling?
Hearing?
Tasting?
And most importantly,
What are you feeling?
Allow yourself to paint a crystal clear picture of what it is you want to bring more of into your life.
Or perhaps subtract things so that your true light might shine through.
Watching it in clearer and clearer detail.
Having your attention to remain focused on your heart's desire.
Noticing if you have the urge to strive for something or to do more to make this come into fruition.
And instead see if you can do just the opposite.
Invite yourself to do less.
Open up your posture,
Broadening the chest,
Perhaps turning the palms to face the ceiling,
Becoming receptive to the world around you.
And allowing yourself to receive.
How does it feel to take this posture?
To allow yourself to be open?
Do you notice any barriers in your body as you are imagining your heart's desire?
Perhaps you feel a tightness or a block in a certain part of your body.
Turn your attention to that spot and become really curious,
Asking yourself,
What does this tightness,
Tension or blockage need to move and flow and to pass?
What does it need?
Perhaps your attention is all that it needs.
Noticing if you encounter any barriers in your thoughts.
What bold patterns or stories are perhaps getting in your way that no longer serve you?
Can you notice these thoughts as they come without judgment?
Can you accept that there was a time when they served you well,
But perhaps you are outgrowing or have outgrown that old story?
What are the core beliefs you hold about yourself that don't have a place in your future?
What is your new story?
What beliefs do you need to hold about yourself?
What do you need to be capable of?
What skills do you need to learn in order to move forward on your journey,
To come home to your heart's deepest desire and your life's purpose?
In what ways have you strayed from the path?
It's never too late to change directions and head home on the path.
What are some changes you can make today,
Tomorrow and the next day to move toward the things you want in life,
To move toward the life that was meant for you?
Once again,
Imagining the things you want most dearly in life.
Why do you want them?
What would that bring to you that you're currently lacking?
What feeling do you desire?
Whatever came up,
In what ways can you give those things to yourself today,
Tomorrow and the next day?
What choices do you have to make?
What's the new story that you're going to tell about yourself?
I am capable.
I am worthy.
I am deserving.
I am enough.
Once again,
Returning the attention to the body and to the breath.
Taking a deep inhale and filling the lungs with all of the qualities you want to engender in the future and exhaling the things that no longer serve you.
Again,
Breathing in what you want and exhaling the things that are holding you back.
Inviting movement into the body and if the eyes were closed,
Gently opening them when you're ready.
Have a blessed day.
