This Shamanic Breath Journey will guide you through intentional breathing patterns to help you release tension, expand awareness, and connect with your inner wisdom. You will experience a combination of deep inhales, extended exhales, and breath retention to enter a meditative, altered state of consciousness. As you breathe, you may feel energy shifts, emotional release, or a heightened sense of clarity and connection. The journey also includes visualization and moments of stillness to help integrate the experience. Allow yourself to surrender to the rhythm of your breath and explore the depths of your mind, body, and spirit.

Welcome to this shamanic breath work journey.

As we get started,

Begin by inhaling.

Belly rounds out,

Inflates all the way up to your chest.

Hold for a moment and exhale slowly release the breath.

Continue moving through these expanded,

Rounded belly inhales and long exhales.

Where can you soften in your body?

Widening your eyebrows,

Creating more space in the third eye space.

Softening in and around your temples,

Smoothing out your forehead,

Releasing your jaw,

Maybe even wiggling it back and forth.

Softening.

And as you continue to breathe these expanded belly breaths,

Can you notice now how they become more easeful,

More spacious?

Can you bathe your internal landscape with this breath?

Basking,

Floating,

On breath.

We'll be moving through a few rounds of focused breath work with pauses,

Breath retention in between.

In a moment,

We'll begin to inhale for four,

Exhale for three.

Wherever you are in your breath,

Let go with an exhale.

Take a few more sips of air in.

Cool up your pelvic floor,

Draw energy from deep in the center of the earth,

Up into your body,

Up at the crown of your head,

Into the cosmos,

Up into the multiverse,

Up into creator,

Source energy,

Hold.

Continue to hold your breath but relax your body completely.

If your tongue is pressed to the back of your teeth or the roof of your mouth,

Release.

Take a few more sips of air in.

Draw up your pelvic floor,

Draw energy from the deepness of the core of the earth,

Up through your body,

Into the cosmos,

Bridging heaven and earth,

Hold.

Relax your body,

Hold the breath.

Be a little more vigorous.

We'll be breathing in through an O-shaped mouth,

Out,

This breath.

Generate the vision of all that you want to be.

Visualize it as done.

Seeing yourself fully embodied,

Living your purpose,

Living your passions,

Fully alive.

Hold the vision,

Continue to breathe,

Allowing each breath to bring this vision more and more to life.

Weaving this vision with emotions.

How would you feel in this fully realized state?

What emotions would you enjoy in this fully manifested state?

Keep invoking the emotion.

Another sip or two.

This time squeeze everything,

Draw energy up from the center of the earth,

Down from creator source energy,

Squeeze fists,

Eyes,

Create tension all through the body,

Crawl your toes,

Hold,

Hold,

Hold,

Hold,

Continue to hold your breath,

Relax the body.

Slowly release,

Holding the breath out at the bottom.

Magical,

Shamanic landscape.

A place that's not quite here on this earth,

But a special,

Mystical place that's just for you.

As you look around and start to get a sense of the type of landscape you're in,

Maybe you can see all kinds of nature around you.

Maybe you can hear nature sounds.

Maybe you can smell.

Let yourself feel fully alive in this mystical landscape.

Know that just by being here,

Just by putting your attention and awareness here,

This landscape begins to charge your energy field.

This landscape begins to nourish all of your cells in your body.

There are frequencies here to help balance your energy field.

There are frequencies here to bring harmony to your emotions.

As you reside in this mystical landscape,

If you are standing,

Have a seat,

Or better yet,

Lay down and feel the perfect earth beneath you,

Holding you and cradling you,

Shapeshifting to form itself to the shapes of your body.

Feel the charging that you receive from below.

Feel the charging and amplification from above and all around you.

Check in with your breath.

Let it be deep,

Knowing that the deeper and fuller you round your belly,

The more you will charge,

Heal.

As you continue to rest and charge,

Maybe over to your right,

You start to sense the presence of a beautiful,

Kind,

And loving spirit animal that wants to connect with you.

Maybe invite it to come closer.

As you lay here,

Still healing,

Charging,

And aligning,

Maybe you don't even need to open your eyes to see what it is.

This animal comes even closer now,

And you lift your hand,

Your right hand.

You make contact,

Feeling the texture.

This animal lovingly responds,

Pressing back into your hand.

You invite it to come lay with you.

Regardless its size,

It comes and snuggles up to your right side.

And maybe it's making some sounds or vibrations as well that help to bring even more harmony into your being.

And if you have any questions of this spirit animal,

You can ask,

What are the qualities or powers that you have that I can embody and infuse within my energy field today?

Maybe you get a response or a reaction.

Maybe that'll come at a later time.

Just witness,

Observe,

And receive what is here for you.

If you've had a spirit animal visit,

Send them thanks.

And as you continue to breathe,

Let this scene fade away.

Maybe the animal departs knowing that they're always with you anytime you ask or call upon them.

Allow this nature scene to begin to dissolve.

Continue to breathe as you now notice and witness yourself back in the space in which you're currently residing.

Before you bring any movement back or open your eyes,

Just sense the space around you.

Tune in to any sounds close to you or far away.

And before you come fully back,

Set your intention.

As you come out of this breath work meditation journey,

How will you step into the rest of your day with expanded awareness,

Presence,

Peace?
