If you're here,
You may be looking for support with processing the loss of your baby.
By taking time for yourself during this meditation,
You're kindly honoring your loss and the grieving journey you're on,
Welcoming a safe space for compassion as you fill yourself up with loving support.
Beginning by finding a comfortable posture,
Either seated in a chair with your feet flat and your spine long or perhaps laying down if that feels more supportive.
And as you arrive here,
Allow your eyes to close and your breath to expand,
Bringing your awareness to your body and visualizing it as deeply relaxed,
Noticing any lingering tension or tightness,
Slowly beginning to soften and unravel,
Gently breathing in and out as you invite compassion in with each inhale and exhale.
Notice taking in your deepest inhale since the loss of your baby and allowing your exhale to be a slow,
Gentle release as you let go into this moment.
Okay.
Using your attention here and simply being with the rise and fall of your breath,
Giving yourself permission to feel and accept all that is arising within you,
Being with any feelings that may be rising to the surface and just continuing to be present with yourself and the loss you've experienced.
Okay.
As you settle into this space of loving compassion,
Being with any thoughts or emotions that are arising around your loss,
It can be helpful to first acknowledge that you are not going through this alone,
Allowing yourself to find comfort in knowing that right now in this moment,
Other women are navigating similar layers of grief.
And while you may feel lonely and sad,
You are not alone on this journey,
Imagining this sisterhood of women grieving alongside you as your stillbirth story weaves your healing hearts together as one.
Knowing this,
Allow yourself to be with this deeply connected support surrounding you,
Remaining connected to this moment here and now,
Nowhere else to be,
Nothing to do,
Simply holding space for any waves of grief to move through you as you hold your baby in your heart and your awareness now and always.
Imagining now that you could hold your baby in your arms,
Sharing with them a safe space to be together,
Visualizing what it would be like to spend time together in this moment,
Allowing this loving connection to move through you,
Expanding through your entire being,
Knowing an unbreakable bond with your baby will always be present when you welcome this unconditional love into your heart,
Lingering in this awareness for a few moments,
Connecting with yourself and continuing to expand through your heart as you observe whatever arises with love and compassion.
Guiding your awareness to your heart,
Feeling your breath rise and fall.
Recognizing that by inviting in this loving support,
You're allowing any waves of grief to move through you while also creating a safe space of healing as you breathe deeply in and out.
Bringing your attention back to your body and the space you're in,
Feeling each in-breath and out-breath flowing gently through you.
And if you wish to continue meditating,
Please remain doing so for as long as you would like.
