
Connecting To Self-Love
It is important to have genuine meaningful connections that are healthy and abundant. It is even more important to have that connection with yourself. Take some time to connect and affirm your strength and love.

Let's allow the nature of love and how love moves throughout the world to be expressed.
It's so important to have genuine connections with others on a daily and routine basis to get the things we need to be connected,
Loved.
It's equally as important for you to connect with yourself.
Then and only then can you start to reveal its beauty in all the ways throughout each and every day and the depth of the connections that can occur.
Let's take a very first action,
A very small step in self love right now.
We're going to utilize our ability to breathe.
We're going to do it in a few different ways and our breath will be our supporter.
Your breath has been there every moment of every day,
Changing as it needs to on demand,
Flowing effortlessly as you're resting.
So go ahead and close your eyes,
Taking multiple full deep breaths in.
Remember how every day your deep breaths are proven to change and manipulate energy throughout your body and your mind.
Your breaths energizes you daily.
It is your life source and it is your most present gift.
And we utilize our breath to grow a relationship with ourself and the present moment.
So take in five deep breaths with me now and we're going to hold it for a moment at the top and then naturally exhaling,
Never pushing out our breath all the way,
Just naturally allowing it to exhale.
So first with me begin one inhale,
Nice deep breath,
Expanding your belly,
Lungs as much as you can and holding it at the top.
Gently exhaling with relief in a natural way.
Two,
Inhaling fresh oxygen supplying to your body and your bloodstream.
Hold it at the top,
Soak it all in and exhaling without any effort.
Three,
Gently inhale rejuvenating,
Invigorating,
Holding it,
Gently exhaling with ease.
Four,
Inhale noticing how breathing has fully become natural to you in this state,
Pausing to soak in the energy and vibrance of the energy and exhaling to relieve any tension and any worry.
Five,
Inhaling fully to act.
Give yourself the space to love yourself pausing with this love and with this feeling,
This act of self-love,
Exhaling in complete relaxation as a form of love,
Spending time to connect with yourself.
Allow your breath now to just flow at any pace without any effort from you.
Good.
By doing this you are proving that you are capable of self-love.
Breathing deep increases supply of oxygen to your brain and stimulates the nervous system.
Sometimes it's referred to as rest and digest system.
By breathing deeply and often you're commanding your body to rest,
Which relaxes and rejuvenates you.
It fills your cup,
It charges you and this is self-love in its most simplest form.
Anybody can do it in any time of the day.
Now let's honor ourselves by relaxing in the mind even further.
Notice now how your thoughts are raising up in your mind one after another.
See them come and see them go.
Some thoughts linger and hang out for a moment.
Some thoughts take up more energy and more space only for a split second.
If you can really focus you will notice even smaller thoughts such as describing the words around you,
Small thoughts that are sensitive to your current environment,
The feeling of the carpet,
The temperature of the air.
Let your hearing become a super alert now.
Try to focus on some noise around you.
Maybe you can hear the sound of your own breath,
Or nature,
Perhaps cars passing by or people talking to each other.
Just go and navigate from sound to sound,
Focusing on only one at a time.
Now stop focusing on any sound in particular and just allow the noises around you to come in equally when you hear them.
They almost act like tiny waves of relaxation calming your body.
Now if you could stretch your senses even further and perhaps you can become aware of the silence that is in between the sounds or as I like to call it the canvas of all the sounds.
This is an invisible fabric that the sound lays on and travels along.
Just become aware of the silence in between each sound now.
Good.
Your mind relaxes when you activate your senses on command and you focus and direct your energy.
Your mind relaxes.
Humans have a unique ability to visualize which allows for creations of all kinds to take place in our world.
So let's use the power of your amazing visualization abilities to induce and amplify self-love.
Making sure your eyes are closed now.
Begin to imagine yourself full of abundance of self-love.
See yourself now choosing healthy foods,
Cooking at home,
As you know all of the ingredients you're putting into your body confidently,
Vividly seeing yourself eat well and enjoying each moment.
You feel the nutrition energizing your body by the choices that you made.
Imagine now that you have a strong will to avoid the foods that make you feel like crap,
The unhealthy drinks and choices that make you feel worse,
Make you feel guilt.
See yourself in great detail confidently saying no to all of these things.
Without guilt or fear and you feel proud.
When you avoid eating something unhealthy,
You feel the detail.
Confidently saying no to all of these things.
Without guilt or fear and you feel proud.
When you avoid eating something unhealthy,
You feel proud.
Eating healthy is an essential component to self-love.
Staying hydrated and drinking your water.
Visualize yourself now completely at peace,
Whatever that looks like for you.
You can imagine yourself in a place that you love,
In a state or feeling that brings you peace.
Perhaps it's a beach or in a forest or snuggled up on your own,
On the couch or in your bed.
Whatever brings you feelings of comfort.
Vividly see yourself in that place now.
Allow the feelings of peace and tranquility to raise up and fill your body.
The more details you can add,
The better.
See the colors brightly,
The sensations around you.
Feel the experiences in your body and notice how you look.
What kind of expression is on your face?
Be here in this place of complete peace for just a few moments longer.
Good.
Another form of self-love is observing your mental chatter.
So in order to have great self-love,
Great self-awareness,
Great connection to self,
You must expand the good things you feel about yourself and challenge the negative thoughts as soon as they arise.
Question everything,
My dear.
So hear yourself saying now or say out loud,
When I fully love myself,
I'm able to fully love others.
Here is an amazing stillness that comes when I meditate.
Each day,
I allow my love for myself to grow more and more.
I'll honor myself by allowing peace to rise in me.
Deciding to love myself unconditionally,
No matter what happens,
Feels wonderful.
I get to know myself fully when I use mindfulness techniques.
My self-esteem grows along with my self-love.
I love and accept everything about myself.
I find peace by using my imagination upon will.
Today,
I love myself even more than yesterday.
Truly loving myself brings me peace.
The more I love myself,
The better my entire health is.
I love every moment of my existence and I trust it's for my better growth.
Every part of me that makes me who I am,
I encompass with love and security.
I have love with no expectation within me and I allow it to overflow in abundance throughout and around me.
Great.
Now,
Gently open your eyes and take a fresh breath and know that whenever you love yourself,
You will also find love.
