Welcome to today's meditation.

This session is a gentle reminder to slow down,

To remember the importance of making time for yourself and to begin again whenever you need to.

Whether you're new to meditation or returning after some time away,

This is a moment just for you.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position,

Either on a chair with your feet flat on the ground or on a cushion with your legs crossed.

Allow your spine to be tall and your shoulders to relax.

Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to the breath.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

And slowly exhale through your mouth.

Feel the air filling your lungs.

And as you exhale,

Feel your body begin to soften.

Take a few more breaths at your own pace,

Allowing each exhale to release any tension or stress you may be holding.

Now,

Let your breath return to its natural rhythm,

Simply observing each inhale and exhale as it flows in and out.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

The coolness of the air as it enters your nostrils.

And the warmth as it leaves.

As you settle into this rhythm,

Bring to mind the concept of remembering.

Life can move so quickly.

And it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle.

Hustle and bustle.

Forgetting the things that truly nourished our spirit.

Today,

We're here to remember.

Remember to slow down.

There's no rush in this moment.

No urgency.

Just you.

Your breath.

And the gentle awareness of being here,

Now.

Remember that it's okay to pause.

To take a break.

To step away from the demands of the day.

Even if just for a few minutes.

As you breathe.

As you breathe,

Remember that each breath is an opportunity to begin again.

No matter how long it's been since your last meditation.

Or since you last took time for yourself.

Or since you last took time for yourself.

This breath,

Right now,

Is a fresh start.

A new beginning.

Let go of any guilt or frustration you may feel about not meditating as often as you like.

It doesn't matter how many times you've started and stopped.

What matters is that you're here,

Now.

Beginning again.

Gently remind yourself of the importance of this practice.

Meditation isn't just something to check off a list.

It's a gift you give yourself.

A moment to reconnect with who you are.

To center yourself.

And to find peace in the present moment.

As you continue to breathe deeply.

Allow yourself to sit with this feeling of remembrance.

Let it sink in.

You are remembering to slow down.

To be present.

To take care of yourself.

You are remembering the peace that comes with meditation.

The calm that settles in your mind.

And the clarity that arises when you give yourself permission to pause.

As we prepare to close this meditation,

Take a moment to set an intention.

Perhaps it's to return to this practice more regularly.

Or maybe it's simply to carry this feeling of calm with you throughout your day.

Whatever your intention,

Hold it gently in your mind as you take a few more deep breaths.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the room.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

And gently open your eyes.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

And remember that you can return to this place of peace and stillness whenever you need to.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself today.

May you carry this sense of remembrance with you,

Allowing it to guide you back to your present moment.

May you carry this sense of remembrance with you,

Allowing it to guide you back to your practice again and again.
