They say the first 30 minutes of your morning set the tone for the rest of your day. Starting your day off with meditation is a powerful way to help you create positive momentum and feel great. This meditation is designed to help you tap into those positive feelings by tuning into the body and breath, releasing tension, and repeating positive affirmations. Use this meditation as a daily practice for the best results.

Good morning and welcome to your guided morning meditation.

My name is Jillian and I'm going to be guiding you through a meditation today to help you start your day off on the right foot.

You can use this meditation daily to help boost your mood,

Raise your energy,

And just start your day on a positive note.

Meditation is most powerful when we practice it consistently.

I recommend returning to this meditation to see the best results.

When we practice meditation regularly,

This also creates new neural pathways in the brain and helps to shift our mood and vibration faster.

We are going to begin either in a seated position or you can also listen to this meditation lying in bed before you get up in the morning.

So wherever feels comfortable for you,

Just taking a moment to settle into some stillness.

Closing the eyes if you haven't already.

We'll just start by taking a few deep breaths together.

So inhaling for a count of four,

Filling your lungs all the way up to the top and exhaling out through the mouth for a count of four.

Releasing any stuck or stagnant energy from your sleep.

Doing that again,

Filling your lungs all the way up.

Deep breath in.

And then exhaling out for a count of four.

Emptying all the way to the bottom.

And one more time,

Deep inhale,

Filling the body up with that new oxygen,

New life.

And exhale out.

And then just allow your body to come back to its normal breathing rhythm.

And taking a moment here to feel the surface beneath you.

So maybe it's a seat.

Or maybe it's your bed.

Just taking a moment to notice how it feels to have your body supported today.

Feeling all the muscles relaxed.

Softening the forehead.

Softening all the muscles around the eyes and the jaw.

And taking a moment to notice how your body is feeling this morning.

Can you let any stiffness or tightness go on the exhale?

And then just picturing any tense or tight energy leaving the body,

Exhaling it out,

Letting it go.

And then inhale,

Bringing in new positive energy into the body.

And exhale,

Letting it go.

And then doing that for a few more rounds here.

Bringing in new fresh energy into the body.

You can picture beautiful sunlight shining down from the top of your head all the way down to your toes on your inhale.

And filling the body up,

Filling up your energy body.

Energy in the surrounding area around your body.

Fresh new light.

And then just picturing the letting go of anything that no longer serves you.

Taking a few more moments.

Starting to feel the body awaken with this newfound energy.

And then what you want to get from your day to day.

So what do you want to move through your day with?

Maybe it's clarity,

A sense of calmness,

Peace.

Allowing your body to fill up with this feeling.

Allow yourself to embody this.

What would it feel like to move through your day with this energy?

Picturing yourself moving through your day.

Grounded,

Centered.

I'm going to repeat a few affirmations that you can either say out loud or just say them within your mind,

Allowing them to absorb into your body.

Usually when we use affirmations,

This just helps set the mind on the right track for the day.

Good things flow to me with ease.

Take a breath and notice how that feels in the body.

I reside in the vibration of love.

I reside in the vibration of love.

Deep breath into the body.

Fill yourself up with that loving energy,

Maybe placing your hands on your heart.

Today is a gift.

And I will make the most out of this day.

I am a magnet for abundance and happiness.

Deep breath into the body.

Exhaling it out.

Happiness is my natural state.

Happiness is my natural state.

I choose to see the good in everything and everyone.

And another deep inhale here.

Exhaling it out.

Today,

I will nourish my mind,

Body,

And spirit and listen to the wisdom within.

Today,

I might not have control over what happens,

But I can control how I respond.

But I can control how I respond.

Just let that one resonate in the body.

Today,

I choose love over fear.

Today,

I choose love over fear.

Take a deep breath here.

Letting anything else go from the body that's not for your highest and greatest good.

And then bringing to mind an intention for your day.

Maybe it's a feeling or a word like we used before,

But just coming back to that phrase or word.

Really letting it resonate in the body.

Taking two more deep inhales here.

Feeling that space in your lungs expand.

On the exhale,

Releasing.
