That is where comes the,

We say hidden practice,

Or we can say,

You can say a secret practice,

But it is an open secret,

And people do not pay attention to it.

Why they don't pay attention?

What's what Michelle said,

I have been busy in bunch of other things.

So what is this secret hidden practice,

Hidden but open practice?

You see that that's why I always say I spent 26 years with my master,

Listening to him,

Learning from him,

Listening,

Learning,

Listening,

Learning and practice,

Until those principles are settled in this crazy brain.

Now it doesn't become crazy easily.

So what is that secret but open secret?

Michelle,

I don't see you.

Or you want to,

Don't want me to see you,

Only your picture.

Your picture is a very young one.

Young one,

I am young.

I have difficulty logging into my computer,

So I'm not using my phone,

And I was trying to reset things so I could log in,

But that's why you couldn't see me.

Sorry.

You're young,

You're younger,

Much younger.

You know,

I have a couple in Monday's and Thursday's session,

Perhaps they are over 65,

So they said,

You know,

Looking at my beard,

They said,

No,

We will put you for vaccination.

How old are you?

So I said I'm 61.

Oh no,

No,

No,

Then we cannot help you at this time.

I said,

Okay.

That's right.

So what is this open and hidden?

It is a royal secret,

And still it is an open secret.

And the word is given,

The word in Eastern wisdom is known as Sat Sang.

What is Sat Sang?

Sat means truth,

Sang means company,

Relationship,

Relationship with the truth.

What is that truth?

Truth is the real self.

What is that real self?

Real self is of the nature of permanent peace,

Happiness,

Love and wisdom.

So what is that hidden secret?

Again,

Come back,

Go back to the same word.

It is hidden,

But open.

So every text directly or indirectly says,

These principles should be heard,

Not read,

Should be heard from the teacher because he will personalize the teaching.

So that is what the Sat Sang.

It's a beautiful verse in one of the most complete texts.

Complete texts are known as Upanishads.

They are revolutions.

What it says,

Atma wa aredras tavya,

Sho tavyo mant tavyo nirdyas tavyo matrayi.

So this teaching,

You know,

Sometime we have an Eastern wisdom.

I'm just deviating a little bit.

So we have more women,

So it's good to listen.

We have more or less equal number of women masters,

Men masters.

So here,

This phrase which I just spoke,

Atma wa aredras tavya,

Sho tavyo mant tavyo nirdyas tavyo matrayi.

Matrayi is the name of a woman who also became a great master.

So sometime what happens in Eastern wisdom,

That's a beauty.

Sometimes the husband becomes the master and the wife becomes the student.

So then there are many women masters where the wife is the master and the husband becomes the seeker.

Besides other things.

Besides other things.

John,

Where is our Sophie?

No,

No worries.

You continue listening.

You need not to.

So you see that what is again,

Come back.

I'm coming back and then I will translate this,

Understand this clearly.

So what the master is saying here,

Every master says,

Shro tavyo,

You have to listen from the teacher.

What the teacher talks?

Only the principles of Eastern wisdom.

What master talks?

You are the most important person.

We feel my job is more important than me.

So by continuous listening,

Different principles,

One day what will happen?

The intellect will become clear and the intellect will inspire you.

The moment you wake up in the morning,

You say,

Did I do the practice?

No,

I have to do the practice.

That is why we listen to it again and again and again.

And the masters have explained these principles in more than 3000 texts differently.

Principles are the same,

Expression is different.

So what is the hidden practice?

The moment you start listening to this crazy guy,

You have already started the practice.

You already started the practice.

This is what the husband is saying to his honey whose name is metraee,

The woman master later on.

So what he says to his honey,

The self,

The real self,

My dear metraee should be realized.

How?

Should be heard of,

Reflected on and meditated upon again and again,

Again and again,

Again and again,

Until one day your mind will say,

Leave everything.

First,

I'm the most important.

I have to discover that permanent peace and happiness.

Vishal was thinking,

You know,

I have answers of all those questions.

But you see that the teachers of the Eastern wisdom,

They do not,

They do not criticize you.

They ask you to awaken,

To realize,

To see the importance.

Why you see the importance?

Because you are the most important person.

Does your intellect realize this?

No.

Why no?

If you are busy,

If you have a bunch of other things to do,

See that.

Hi,

Sophie has come.

Sophie is getting connected in this.

Oh,

Here is Sophie.

So you see that?

What the master is saying,

Is saying that these principles should be heard again and again,

Reflected on again and again.

Who knows,

One day you wake up in the morning and your mind says,

Oh,

I heard this crazy guy.

Now let me,

I have to do the practice.

You know,

One day,

One day,

The moment one day comes,

You have revealed the secret.

You may leave me,

But you will not leave the principles.

So this is what,

Then what it says,

Then now what it says,

See the answer.

When I asked you whether you have done the practice,

Your answer is most welcome.

Then,

You know,

Then we will continue the journey.

Better not to do it.

So then you come back again and again.

So that is also,

What he says,

Now he says three words,

Shravanam means listening the principles.

Second is contemplation and reflection on the principles by the intellect so that the mind starts listening to you.

That intellect will inspire you to practice.

So the three words,

That is what I say,

I don't know,

Let me know it.

I don't understand,

Let me understand it.

I don't experience,

Let me practice it.

Then what he says,

The second step,

Contemplation and reflection on these principles,

How you do it when you listen it again and again.

You listen the talk and then you close my voice and then you say,

What the hell he is talking about?

Let me understand.

Is he talking about himself or is he talking about me?

First question,

First question.

And it took me almost six years.

I tell you,

I was,

I was fooled and I'm still fooled.

So it took me a lot of years,

Almost six years to,

Oh my goodness,

This is the secret.

This is the Satsang.

This is what it means by listening.

And I have to contemplate.

And after six years,

When I sat into meditation,

It was so much natural because the intellect was pure,

Naturally focused.

It guided the mind.

Why you are going outside?

Come inside like a baby and ultimately you are absorbed into that state.

So that is why I said it is a royal secret.

Still it is an open secret.

It is a hidden secret for those who do not understand.

And it is an open secret the moment you start contemplation and reflection.

And this text was written almost 3000 years ago.

So now come back to,

Come back to what we were,

What we talked last time.

We talked,

Shraddha,

The faith is the first trait that becomes an attitude of the mind.

Faith,

Faith in what?

Faith in myself,

My real self.

There is a hidden treasure within me.

Leave everyone,

Honey,

Kids,

Professions,

Everything.

Faith.

Second is Shraddha,

Veeriam,

Energy,

Enthusiasm.

Have you seen me that I'm sleeping?

Okay,

Continue the practice.

It's natural.

You know,

Here in our country we say,

Are you fired?

Are you excited?

Excited causes hesitation.

No,

You need not to be excited.

You need to be relaxed and calm,

But full of energy is enthusiasm.

Two,

Third is Shraddha,

Veeriam,

Smriti,

Right memory.

Right memory,

I have an attitude of the right memory.

Do you forget to go to restroom?

I like Michelle.

I will ask you a lot of questions.

I have a meeting,

Because I've been working from home for a year,

So usually I forget to go,

And then I'm like,

Maybe I could just click off camera and say there's internet problems.

You forget sleeping?

Yeah,

I've done that too.

So it's a sleep disturbances.

Yeah,

I have a 17-month-old puppy that,

You know,

Wakes me up at all different hours.

I'm a very light sleeper.

Who created the problem?

My honey.

I know husbands,

Fundamentally they are the problem.

I agree with you,

Including me.

I don't know much about John.

So when you reflect and contemplate,

You will realize that this is me and I am the problem.

That is what happens by listening again and again.

So recall,

Shraddha,

Faith,

Energy and enthusiasm,

Right memory,

Regular practice with the wisdom,

Samadhi,

Prajna.

And what is that?

Discernment and dispassion.

Discernment and dispassion.

These are the five traits that makes you a seeker.

Seeker has an attitude.

What attitude?

What is that attitude?

Attitude is that mind,

I will not allow you to live in anxiety,

Hesitation,

Duality and conflict.

Here are the five traits.

I will follow it.

I have an attitude.

So now,

If that attitude is a 100%,

Means all the five traits are 100% in your life,

Then you are the highest level of seekers.

If it is 50%,

You are a mediocre seeker.

And if it is 25%,

God bless you.

We normally say God bless America.

So God bless you.

This is what the master is saying in this sutra.

This is the master saying in,

This is what the master is saying in this sutra.

This is what the next sutra is.

Means lower level of a seeker,

Maybe middle level of a seeker and the highest level of a seeker.

I have that attitude finished.

Where are you going,

Honey,

To meditate?

So the honey does not meditate,

But you say,

Oh,

You are crazy.

Okay,

Yes,

Thank you very much.

Let me meditate first.

I understand who is crazy.

That attitude should be there.

So if that attitude comes out of these four traits that we follow,

This is what happens.

Now,

How to translate that particular attitude in your daily life?

So I get a reference from another crazy master whose name,

Who is the originator of yoga.

We can say who is the originator of Eastern wisdom.

His name is Krishna.

So what he says.

If you are busy,

If you get stressed,

If you have sleep disturbances,

What the master is saying now.

He's saying,

What he's saying,

Who can become a seeker?

Yukta,

The word in Sanskrit,

Literally translated as moderation,

Balance,

Equipose,

In what?

Balance in food,

In eating.

I should not eat,

That causes the problem.

So I should discover what we say.

We don't say balanced diet,

We say measured diet.

Measured.

So what do you measure?

Oh,

Today,

This is the food.

Today,

This food causes me the trouble.

I will leave this.

Let me find out how much energy I need.

So first thing is the food.

We are as your organized,

Professional,

Social and family life.

Forget about all those five traits.

Master says now see that this is another way to understand.

The master says organized,

Balanced,

Measured,

Moderation,

You can use anywhere,

Provided you should understand,

It should go into your head.

So what he says,

Moderation in food,

In sleep,

In activity,

In inactivity,

And even in sleep,

Once you do this,

You do this,

You start,

What happens?

Once you do it,

What happens?

So now compare the understanding knowledge from the modern science,

Or you will live healthy.

If your lifespan is 80 years,

It will go up to 120 years.

That is how the modern science understands.

They have been trying very hard to win over the debt.

Huh?

So they have come,

They have compromised.

Oh,

It is better to delay aging process.

Why?

Doing the same thing again and again,

Falling into same anxiety,

Same stress.

That's why you want to delay the aging process.

That's why you want to live longer.

Why?

No.

So here what it says,

Understand that import of this,

This verse.

I'm adding,

You know,

Did we start living at a higher level of self-awareness?

When you start living at a higher level of self-awareness,

You have that attitude.

What the higher level of awareness says?

Low level of awareness,

Self-awareness,

I'm in a hurry.

I have to do a lot of things.

You know,

I have a higher level of self-awareness says,

It realizes five things.

Put it,

Put it into an order that we do it.

Mine,

No more excitement,

No more anxiety,

No more reaction.

Because if we have that level of anxiety,

It may result into anger.

I don't want to be angry,

But still I become angry over my honey.

You know,

Honey is the nearest.

That's why I'm giving the same example again and again.

You see that?

So now see the reverse of it from another teaching.

You know,

They have a different expression,

But fundamentally the teacher teaching is the same.

What is that teaching?

Do I have an attitude?

I'm not talking of negative attitude.

Honey,

Why don't you practice meditation?

Negative attitude.

Never tell them.

So now see the reverse of it.

So what destroys your life and what destroys meditation?

So another master says,

Atya hara praya sastra prajallapunya magraha jana sanghas chu lalim chu sharibhir yoga vinasyati What are the six things that destroys you?

The text is almost I would say,

Ah,

Haryupradipika,

It is a 15th verse.

It is a 15th century text.

15th century.

Science is hardly 250 years old.

Now understand this,

What he says,

What destroys yoga?

Atya hara,

Overeating or under eating.

Under eating,

Mind goes back again and again,

Again and again,

Every hour.

Oh,

Let me eat something.

Let me do something.

What?

No,

That is my habit.

That is my attitude.

So live with that attitude.

So atya hara.

Second is over exertion.

Anxiety,

They say,

Is the cause of over busy.

Is also the cause of over exertion.

Why I am earning money?

For peace and happiness.

But no,

My earning money is overstressed.

I am very stressed.

Why I am an idealist?

I remain idealist and continue to suffer.

So now go back to the previous sutra.

It says,

Organize moderation,

Find out.

We can organize all of our activities and we can still remain in peace and happiness.

In every session,

If I say,

Oh,

No,

No,

No,

Just be in a hurry,

You know,

Close your eyes and let us do meditation.

You will say,

I'm already living that life.

Why should I come to you?

Why should I come to you?

You see,

That's why I played a trick.

So when the group continues,

I say,

Let us meet 10 minutes before.

What that means?

Are you settled?

Are you ready?

Still we don't become ready.

So I have no problem.

Do you see akyahara?

First is over or under eating.

Second is over and under activity.

That is the result because I have to think and reflect in my intellect what I have to do,

How I have to do,

Where I have to do.

Finished.

Third is niyama graha.

That's,

You know,

If we are idealists,

Then what happens?

I will strictly follow this routine,

Even if I suffer.

So that is what the master realizes.

The mind creates a habit pattern because of building an ego.

See,

This is my way of doing it.

You are right.

Definitely you are right.

But why?

What the heck you are saying?

You know,

This is my way of doing it.

Do it.

Do it in peace.

Are you understanding that?

Niyama graha.

I strictly follow the routine.

So in India we say differently.

We give different things.

We say differently,

We give different examples.

You know,

So there is a,

In the beginning what happens when you want to be a seeker?

You are going to a traditional master and it's very cold and the master says you have to take a cold bath every day.

Why?

Because to break the habit of the mind.

But then what happens?

It becomes a habit.

Then they build the ego.

After a few years,

They start saying that,

You know,

Even in such a cold winter,

I go to the Ganges river and I take a dip there.

We should not follow that strict routine.

I have to break that mode of the ego.

Three principles.

And then you see that now you understand what should be and how it should be avoided.

Fourth is Janasanghasa.

Oh,

Let's have a dinner with my friend.

He's a very good friend of mine.

Then we go and we start talking about the dog.

Oh,

I have a wonderful pet.

And then mine goes back to the last year.

Mine goes back to the last year where the dog met with an accident.

Oh my goodness.

Oh,

That dog was crushed by that guy.

He was a crazy guy.

Then the mind goes,

People are crazy.

Why they keep the pet if they don't want to care them?

What is this gossip?

So at all cost,

We should avoid gossip.

You see,

I'm favoring myself.

You must attend my gossip.

You should always avoid that gossip.

You see that?

And I can tell you,

My friends,

You simply avoid this gossip in your family,

In your relationship.

You avoid a lot of reaction problems.

It starts with the gossip.

It ends with the fight.

Think of it.

Reflect on it.

Reflect on it.

Reflect on it.

And he says,

I am cooking this.

Thank you.

What is your choice?

Whatever you make,

That is my choice.

And you must believe me,

It has been for the last 35 years.

Once I got the niche from my master,

My master said,

Are you living for eating or eating eat to live or live to eat?

Make a choice.

She doesn't know what my mind by default dislikes in eating.

And I put into the mouth,

Even if I dislike her,

Come on.

Eat to live.

That becomes a mental practice,

A mental austerity.

That crushes the mind that normally goes to anxiety.

This is one example.

Janusangascho gossiping.

It starts with my pet,

Then lot of pets are dying.

Then I am paying,

You know,

$19.

99 to AS,

You know,

What is that?

Animal protection,

Some group.

When you have seen the advertisement,

They make you very,

They make you very emotional.

Look at this dog.

ASPCA.

ASPCA.

So my honey was saying,

You know,

See that I said this is they have taken a picture in a video,

Maybe couple of years back.

No,

Janusangascho,

Fourth one and the fifth one.

No,

No,

Fifth.

Fifth and the sixth one is lolliam.

Lolliam means distraction.

My mind is always running here and there.

What should I do?

Where should I go?

My mind is planning how to react to my boss in a restroom.

My mind,

My mind is thinking I have a constipation when I am in kitchen.

I can go on.

This kind of distraction must go.

So you see that now you see that in the first instant,

The Krishna says moderation in all these and then he in other masters says he makes you realize this is the way you should understand,

You should be mindful.

If you are following these six enemies in your life,

It will not build an attitude.

You will not even become a low level of a seeker after some time.

You say,

Oh,

I know what he says.

I understand what this weird guy is saying.

I'm okay.

Okay.

Nothing to learn.

He's doing the same thing again and again.

Who says this?

Which mind says this that is following the same six enemies?

See the beauty of this great master who lived 2500.

He was contemporary of Buddha.

A Tanjali was a contemporary of Buddha.

So Buddha expressed differently and in Dhammapada and Patanjali made a formula sutras.

He was more or less contemporary.

Perhaps we don't find anyone whether they both met or not that I don't know.

But ultimately,

So he compressed all the format.

So you see,

If you remember the journey,

We have understood that who actually is a seeker and the seeker alone succeeds in this path.

And it should be very clear,

John has particular expertise in his profession.

So he uses those tools in order to have the expertise in that profession or Michelle or Mead or and or Sufi.

So I should understand that no,

I have to become a seeker.

Am I a seeker?

Yes.

So you live into that higher awareness.

In that higher awareness,

You know,

When the practice starts,

Where the mind has to go.

How many times it did not happen.

I'm not referring anyone,

But you have already shared your experiences many times.

That is why we share our experiences also.

I do everything secretly,

You see that.

And then I reveal that secret because nothing is a secret.

Everything is open.

Nothing is to be hidden.

Why it is to be hidden,

Why it is not to be hidden.

It is an open secret.

Why you are the most important.

You should understand it.

You should become a seeker.

So let us see,

Are you a seeker today who goes into the practice,

Start the practice now.

Close your eyes.

Close your eyes.

So close your eyes and you are,

Huh?

First we start with being comfortable.

Being comfortable means what?

Do you live into higher awareness?

Yes,

I'm a seeker.

It's better,

Sometimes we have one principle in the modern management system,

You fake that you are,

That also works.

So what,

Look at the neck joint.

Look at the neck joint,

Mind is looking there.

So you have a feeling where the mind goes,

You have the feeling.

So what is that feeling?

Sensation,

Being comfortable and what?

Steadiness.

Look at,

So we move the mind in couple of joints so that the mind starts listening to us.

When the mind will listen?

Only when you live with a little bit higher awareness than your habitual awareness,

Than your habitual awareness,

Than your instinctive or impulsive.

Meditation is not a rocket science,

It is very simple,

Effortless,

Natural.

So look at the shoulder joints.

Look means you are aware,

You feel sensation,

Comfortable,

Steadiness and what is after experiencing?

Check,

Is the mind living into that space or darkness or emptiness?

Simple.

Or emptiness,

Simple,

Look at the hip joint,

Be there.

Okay,

Feeling,

Sensation,

Comfortable,

Steadiness,

What is after that?

Check,

Mind will follow you but because the mind does not have that attitude,

It will say,

Okay,

Oh,

What happened today in the office?

Mind says,

You know,

Look at that crazy guy whom I talked,

You know,

It instantly jumps.

So we have to become aware,

Mind keep looking inside,

We have to find our true nature.

So like you treat the mind like a baby,

Like a small kid,

Inducing with the toys and these toys are not fake toys,

They are real toys.

What is that toy?

Sensation,

Comfortable,

Steadiness.

And then the mind says,

Okay,

Let me go inside,

See the darkness of the space,

So that the mind is not in the space.

So being comfortable,

You have done,

You have done 100%.

Step one is now you have done 100%.

What it means?

You are a seeker.

Be carefree.

What is being carefree?

An example,

Standing across the road,

Watching the traffic,

There are two things.

One is you,

Other is the traffic and third is the awareness.

See that.

What did I say?

You are standing,

Traffic on the road is there and in between,

What is that awareness?

Now convert this metaphor inside your head.

All the thoughts that are coming is the traffic.

Are you the traffic?

No,

I am separate.

So who knows that I'm separate?

It is your self-awareness.

What is that self-awareness?

It is your attitude.

How simple it is.

You don't ask anyone when you are driving on the highway,

What should I do?

One car came in front of my car.

You are aware.

You know,

You keep a safe distance and then you take over.

Take over if it is required.

Is there anything?

Are you doing any practice?

Answer is no.

But if we don't have that attitude,

Then the mind says I have a lot of thoughts.

You know,

I was feeling so much stressed in meditation.

You see that?

That is what is to be done only when you become a seeker,

Then you know,

Yes,

It is.

Now,

Little contemplation and reflection.

So we understood the three steps of the process.

What is contemplation?

Our master says there are only two things.

I am and I am not.

I am is common in all.

I am not.

What it means and why?

To raise a little self-awareness.

What is that?

I am doing meditation.

I am listening to you.

I am sitting.

You see that I am is common.

I am a woman.

I am a man.

I am this.

I am that.

I am eating.

Who is this I am?

Just become aware.

Who is this I am?

This I am is pure consciousness.

Pure consciousness with knowledge,

With truth,

With wisdom,

Truth,

Love and permanent happiness.

That is our real self.

So where is the real self?

Here and now.

Why I don't realize it?

Because the mind is crazy after what I am not.

Simple understanding.

Why this understanding?

So that the intellect will take over the mind whenever the mind is in anxiety.

See that,

That only the self-awareness,

Nothing.

Intellect take over the mind that is running in many directions.

So we will take these steps little deeper every time and now comes the another step.

We will continue.

Now we will start in that step.

We will continue which I say nyasa.

The body is steady?

Yes.

In the body we find sensation,

Comfort and steadiness my friends.

You start breathing deeper,

Deep,

Little deep,

Silent and slow.

Breathe deep,

Silent and slow.

Neither too slow nor too fast.

Neither too slow nor too fast.

So it means what?

That what mind likes.

Even a little deeper breath will do but that should continue.

Means that should continue means what?

The mind will.

Means what?

The mind will keep its awareness and attention on the breath.

Why we want this?

To help the mind to go within first point.

So now I give you a simile metaphor.

This deep silent and slow breath is kar.

First point.

Second point the mind is going with the breath where?

Inside the right arm.

From the shoulder to the fingertips.

Where on the space or in the darkness inside the right arm from the shoulder to the fingertips.

That is the highway.

Highway is totally clear and as you exhale the mind is moving from the fingertips to the shoulder.

Continue.

Is it difficult?

Is it difficult?

You're simply natural.

As the mind as you inhale the mind moves inside the right arm from the shoulder to the fingertips where it is moving the highway which is the highway is the space darkness emptiness.

When you exhale the mind is moving from the fingertips to the shoulder.

Now simply change the location.

Location means now start moving inside the left arm from the shoulder to the fingertips and from the fingertips to the shoulder in the left arm.

Why we change the location?

In the body mind enters unorganized.

In the body if I say cells scientifically so then what happens?

Every cell becomes habitually excited anxious even if the mind is not.

So that is the answer.

What is the answer?

Why I am upset?

There is no reason.

You see that?

See the deeper understanding of these masters.

Now move the mind inside the right leg from the right side of the waist to the toes when you inhale in the highway inside and when you exhale the mind is moving from the toes to the right side of the waist gently calmly freely as if you are driving in the midnight you hardly find any vehicle on the highway.

Now inside the left leg.

So what we are doing not only we are purifying the mind but we are releasing that subconscious habitual mind who has entered into every cell of the body with anxiety with reaction with the duality with a conflict can it happen just do it need not to need not to go with a blind belief every time you do it and you are putting your 100% with that attitude you will feel the result that is the journey it has nothing to do with any blind belief.

Now move the mind inside the spine from the crown of the head to the tailbone and from the tailbone to the crown of the head.

Now move the mind inside the spine from the crown of the head to the crown of the head What a beautiful way.

You see that it is the knowledge that we discussed has started working.

If it is working 100% you are already there.

Let us follow a totally passive step today.

Passive means mind is not asked to do anything but we ask the mind are you aware?

That is what the passive step is.

So leave that deep silence,

Slow breath.

Look at the head and the neck all around as if you are touching every cell of the skin of the head of the head and the neck.

So what will happen?

Deepening of the sensation and then you will find out sensation becomes tingling.

That gives you a sense of relaxation and stillness.

You see we are doing just a passive step.

We are not asking the mind to do anything.

It is almost a non-practice.

Once you experience that sensation,

Relaxation and stillness in the head and the neck,

Ask the mind why don't you see inside the head and the neck?

So when you see inside the head and the neck you will instantly find the sensation inside which is different and a space inside.

So what we say?

That sensation is the state of calmness.

Calmness is deeper than relaxation and that very space is the sense of quietness in the space within except you there is no one.

So let us follow.

Look at the right arm.

Be there touching every cell of the skin of the right arm from the shoulder to the fingertips and then sensation deepens.

It may be tingling,

Numbness,

Freezing.

Let it happen.

Recognize.

Accept it.

And then just look inside the right arm to explore.

What to explore?

Sensation which is different than the outside.

It is calmness.

A sense of quietness,

A sense of space that is quietness.

Left arm be there.

Home I am asking be there the mind.

Who guides the mind?

The intellect.

What guides the intellect and knowledge?

So outside sensation,

Relaxation and stillness and inside.

Ask the mind why don't you live within?

Go inside.

Be there.

We find the space.

Sensation.

That sensation inside which is different than the outside is calmness and in that sensation we find is the space which is quietness.

Simple.

That quietness,

That calmness is already there which is veiled by the mind.

Nothing is ignorance.

Ignorance is incomplete knowledge.

Middle portion of the body from the shoulder down to the chest and the belly in the front and the spine,

Shoulder blades up to the waist.

The middle portion of the body.

Middle portion of the body.

Move the mind as if it is touching every,

It is and inside calmness and quietness.

Did we anything,

Did we create that calmness or quietness?

No it is already there.

We discovered.

Look at the right leg.

Be there.

Outside sensation,

Relaxation and stillness.

Very good.

Inside is calmness and quietness.

Left leg.

Be there.

Be there.

Awareness.

Feeling.

Deepening.

Sensation.

Relaxation and stillness and then gently intellect sees the mind,

Sees to the mind.

Why don't you see inside?

Let us see.

Oh I explore calmness and quietness there.

The entire body,

Mind drops,

Moves with awareness touching the skin of the body as if you are under a shower.

So what happens with the water drops and oh I feel cold or hot.

So when the mind moves with awareness you may feel that sensation,

Relaxation and stillness and then inside calmness and quietness.

So symbolically we say that our real self is located deep inside the heart,

The center of the heart.

What is that heart?

That heart is the seat of consciousness.

It is not the seat of blood.

We are not talking the physical heart.

So just become aware of the center of the rib cage,

Outside experience sensation,

Relaxation and stillness.

Then go inside.

You find the space and the sensation.

When you find,

See the space,

The moment you see the space mentally say Om Shanti without moving the lips.

Om Shanti.

Om is the real nature and Shanti is the peace.

You have sat in this space.

Ask the mind why don't you go a little deeper into the space.

So the mind,

You will find that mind is moving inside.

Okay drop second milestone Om Shanti.

Then find this third one,

Third milestone,

Fourth,

Fifth but not in a hurry with awareness and attention.

And now do nothing.

Just do nothing means what?

You find liberation,

Freedom,

Sense of doing nothing and living within that gives you,

Oh this is what it is.

This is what the meditative state is.

How to simply recognize?

No.

Discover that peace is my essential nature.

It is always with me.

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

We return in a specific way as you know it and then we share our experiences.

Why to progress or bring your mind on the right palm,

Your mind on the left palm,

Lift your both the palms,

Place it on your eyes,

Open the eyes inside the palms and now ask the mind what happened?

What is our experience?

Bring the hands down and how are you Sophie?

I'm very good,

Very good.

I think I went very deep.

I was very completely quiet and there were some thoughts that passed by but they just passed by.

Yeah they passed by.

That is beautiful.

That is the right way.

Yeah and I didn't fall asleep.

Yes you did not fall asleep.

You see that once there is a knowledge in the intellect that lives and you are following the practice.

So what knowledge that you have heard,

Understood is realized.

That is what the meditation is.

Where is your house?

You give me the address.

So I fly there and I reach there.

You see knowledge is realized.

I am at your home.

I also love cats but more than that I love human beings.

How are you Michelle?

I have a very distracted mind but I'm also not sitting in the most comfortable spots.

So I had my leg up on a chair which kind of overextended the leg that I fell on a couple weeks ago so it was hard to kind of like I sat there for a little bit trying to move past it.

But still I feel that you are calm.

You did much better.

You see that what is the learning point?

So next time when I do it and I will make sure that I'm most comfortable with the body.

So every step,

Every session is a learning.

We are not talking of blind belief,

You know,

Follow this,

Follow me and you will be done.

Now follow me,

I will show you heaven.

Is there any valid reason to see the heaven or hell?

So it's a blind belief.

So Eastern wisdom doesn't talk about the blind belief.

It follows the reasoning,

It follows the understanding and then you do the practice.

Wonderful.

How are you me'd?

I went from feelings of sadness and then I kind of dropped down lower and found peace.

Found peace.

Yes.

Yes.

And that sadness has to do with our impressions in the mind accumulated over the years.

So mind might have reflected those events and then it slipped from there.

So that is what we will talk about it.

They are known as vasanas.

Beautiful word,

Vasana means,

Vasana simply means that dwells deeper within.

I can only become angry if the anger dwells in me.

Nothing comes out of nothing.

Something comes out of nothing.

There has to be something inside.

What is there?

So we are releasing it.

Don't worry.

We are going up.

How are you John?

Okay.

I'm pretty calm.

But the practice was a little bit disjointed because I lost the audio a few times and I wasn't sure what was happening there.

But we're calm.

Calm,

Calm,

Calm.

You see,

Yes,

Yes,

That also happens.

Yes.

And that is what the science offers us,

Not me.

Very good.

How are you Anne?

I'm calm.

I feel good.

Very calm and peaceful.

Remember remember repeat in your mind all the time.

Anxiety means you can say one thought which comes out of ignorance.

You see that when I studied,

I always look at the update in the science,

Especially of these mental challenges and mental disorders.

So if you go and study what is anxiety disorder,

The scientists give you 50 reasons.

Then your mind starts associating with it.

But it never goes to the 51st reason.

What is the 51st reason?

Reason of anxiety are still unknown.

Go find out any illness.

Do you see?

Do you see that?

You go and find out.

I'm not criticizing.

It's a good approach.

Objectively,

It's a good approach.

What we are doing is good in science.

But why don't you believe that the 51st reason?

Go to the reason of cancer.

One hundred reasons.

But we our mind doesn't stop there.

It doesn't go down.

Last reason,

The reasons,

Causes are still unknown.

Oh causes are still unknown.

Let me transcend the mind,

Live into peace and everything.

Any question?

You have.

Sophie has a question.

It didn't happen today,

Sometimes like a white point or a white light,

Is that any of any significance or what?

Yes.

If that point of the white light continues in our field of awareness,

The mind will lose the world outside.

And that is a good thing.

In fact,

It helps us to live at a little bit of higher awareness.

Can I see the point of light in this space?

Yes,

That is a point of awareness.

What happens?

The mind excludes the world.

That is how it is aware of it in an intuitive manner.

So we talk.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah.

Go ahead.

But then then my mind wants to hang on to it and then I lose it.

That is what the mind does.

Mind always wants to hang on to something.

Then what happens,

That is what the attachment is.

And once we have an attachment,

We start thinking about it,

Then comes the desire.

And that desire leads to greed.

The greed leads to delusion.

Why there is nothing outside.

Peace and happiness is inside me.

And then the whole journey you have noted down,

I have seen you,

You were writing everything.

There are eight factors.

You see how these principles are interlinked.

Thank you.

Michelle.

Thinking,

Thinking what you're thinking.

Yeah,

A lot of thoughts.

You know,

I know what Sophia was saying about the whole like light experience.

And then when you kind of are there,

You know,

You're kind of transforming and you don't want to go back.

What happens that you remain as women all the time,

24 by seven without any effort.

Is it so?

So meditation succeeds when there is constant and a conscious experience of the joy inside without any effort.

And it is there.

That is what the goal of the Eastern wisdom is.

Happiness is there means what?

I experience happiness what it means.

I'm conscious of happiness.

So happiness with the consciousness.

See that happiness,

Consciousness.

So can I say that consciousness expresses itself in the state of the happiness,

But the mind wails.

Mind creates a barrier.

Why?

I'm looking happiness outside in the object where it is not.

In honey,

In smartphone,

In clothes,

Et cetera,

Et cetera,

Long list.

Happiness is not there.

I don't want to say with the recording,

But let me close it.
