Please find a comfortable place to sit with your back straight and body relaxed. Imagine that you are like a mountain, feel what it might be like to be a mountain. In being a mountain, we can be steady, stable, and present with everything that happens. A mountain is steady when it is snow or rains as well as when the sun shines, and it supports the trees and flowers that grow on it. Notice that you are like a mountain strong and resilient, calm, and content in any tough situations.

Mountain Meditation.

Please find a comfortable place to sit with your back straight and your body relaxed.

Take a moment to notice how you feel right now.

Imagine that you are like a mountain.

Feel what it might be like to be a mountain.

In being a mountain,

We can be a city,

Stable and present with everything that happens.

A mountain is steady when it snows or rains as well as when the sun shines and it supports the trees and flowers that grow on it.

A spring flowing through the mountain is like our breath coming and going in our bodies while our bodies remain still.

Do you feel tall just like a mountain?

Do you feel strong like a mountain?

Notice how the mountain stays strong in any storms,

Hurricanes or earthquakes.

Notice that you are like a mountain,

Strong and resilient.

Calm and content in any tough situations.

Breathing in,

Feeling strong.

Breathing out,

Feeling calm.

Breathing in,

Feeling your power.

Breathing out,

Feeling grounded and content.

Feel how the mountain provides so many places for animals to live safely and survive together in harmony.

How about the beautiful natural scenery the mountain provides for people to explore and enjoy?

As you are breathing in,

Feel the strength and power you have just like a mountain.

As you are breathing out,

Feeling calm and relaxed.

Just notice you are a mountain.

Breathing in,

Feeling strong.

Breathing out and preparing to continue your day with your strength.
