Hello and welcome.
My name is Kelly.
I'm so excited to guide you through this guided relaxation meditation.
I invite you to find whatever position feels best to you.
That could be seated or lying down,
Lying on your side,
Your belly,
Even walking or leaning against a wall.
Just taking these few minutes to soften.
Taking a moment to start to notice your body or even a part of your body that's being supported in this moment.
You may start to notice any sounds around you.
Just allowing the sounds to be there.
Maybe noticing any textures that you feel or how your clothes meet your skin.
Maybe any smells or tastes that you can taste in this moment.
And starting to notice your breath.
Just the gentle beautiful rise and fall of your chest or your belly.
Starting to deeply settle into this moment.
Noticing that support beneath you.
Noticing the sounds around you.
Any smells or sights even behind closed eyes if they're closed.
An invitation to welcome a mantra reminder to allow your mind and body to deeply soften.
Just like the thoughts come in and out,
Just welcoming a gentle gentle mantra of perhaps soften.
Soften.
Soften.
Just gently allowing your mind to anchor and repeat the mantra.
Soften.
Soften.
Soften.
Soften.
As you do so,
You may start to notice any places that kind of soften and settle within your body.
Just allowing yourself to notice any places that feel more pleasant or neutral within your body as you soften.
As you soften into this moment,
Into this stillness,
Allowing your mind to anchor on the mantra.
Soften.
Soften.
Soften.
Just allowing yourself to bask in this well-being,
In this moment of softening here.
As we bring this short practice to a close,
I invite you to slowly scan your body and notice any places that may have shifted in a more pleasant or neutral way.
Just allowing yourself to stay with those and notice and soak that in like a sponge.
Allow that to expand and grow.
Knowing you can always return to this practice as well as the mantra and reminder to soften.
Soften.
Soften.
Soften deeply into the present moment.
Thank you so much for allowing me to guide you through this short practice.
May you be safe.
May you be peaceful.
May you be kind to yourself and may you live with ease and well-being and to all beings everywhere in our world.
Namaste.
