Welcome.

Today we are going to explore the concept of ease,

Letting go of resistance and allowing yourself to flow with life.

This meditation is an invitation to release tension and trust in the natural rhythm of your being.

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in and let it all go with a sigh.

Let's begin.

Start by bringing your attention to your breath.

Notice its natural rhythm.

No need to change it.

Feel the cool air entering your nostrils and the warm air leaving.

With each exhale allow your body to soften a little more.

Release any tightness in your face,

Your shoulders,

Your chest.

Let gravity gently pull you down,

Grounding you.

Now imagine your breath as a gentle wave.

With each inhale the wave flows up your body,

Bringing calm and ease.

With each exhale the wave flows down,

Washing away any tension or resistance.

Feel this wave move rhythmically,

Soothing and softening your entire body.

Now picture yourself standing by a serene flowing river.

This is the river of ease,

A place of effortless movement and calm.

The water is crystal clear,

Shimmering under soft light.

Step closer and notice how inviting it feels.

The river flows steadily,

Not rushing,

Not stagnant,

Just moving at its own perfect pace.

Imagine yourself stepping into this river.

The water is warm and supportive,

Gently cradling you.

Feel it flow around you,

Carrying away any heaviness,

Tension or worry.

As you float or stand in the water,

Repeat these affirmations silently or aloud.

I let go of resistance.

I trust the flow of life.

I allow myself to be at ease.

Now picture the river carrying you effortlessly downstream.

You don't need to paddle or steer.

Trust the current to take you exactly where you need to go.

Notice the peace that comes with this surrender.

As you continue to float in the river,

Bring your attention to your heart.

Imagine the water pouring ease and calm directly into your chest,

Filling your heart with lightness and gratitude.

Thank yourself for showing up today,

For choosing to release resistance and embrace ease.

Take a moment to reflect.

Where can you bring more ease into your life?

What might it feel like to let go of the need to control and trust the flow instead?

As we prepare to close this meditation,

Begin to feel the river slowly guiding you back to its edge.

Step out onto solid ground,

Carrying this sense of ease and trust with you.

Start to deepen your breath.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Perhaps stretch your body,

Bringing gentle movement back.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

Lighter,

Calmer and more aligned with the natural flow of life.

Remember,

You can return to this river of ease anytime you need.

Thank you for allowing yourself this moment of peace.
