Oohola ea ka makaloala,
Ooh a'ike aloha laa,
Ku ka'i ea ka haloala,
Have hi mai nalewa.
Mai ko oku i a ka haloa wai laa,
Mahalo eina aku wa,
Mahalo eina kupuna laa ea,
Mahalo me ke aloha laa,
Mahalo me ke aloha laa.
Let's begin by connecting with our haa or breath.
Start by taking some slow deep breaths in and out.
With each breath,
Bring yourself more present into this moment,
Into this place,
Into this space.
With your next breath in,
Breathe in light and love,
Comfort and healing.
With your next breath out,
Breathe out anything not serving you at this moment.
Just let it drift away.
Bring your awareness in towards your pu'u vai or your heart center.
Imagine a beautiful emerald green light and your heart beginning to open up.
Allow unconditional love to flow in.
Bring your awareness up toward the muscles of your throat and neck,
The front,
The back,
And the sides.
And allow any tension in your neck to relax.
Open yourself up to clear and honest communication and speaking your truth.
Bring your awareness up into the muscles of your eyes.
Allow any tension there to relax and the eyelids to feel heavy.
Bring your awareness up into your brow and your forehead,
Allowing any tension there to relax and release,
And insight and intuition to flow in.
Bring your attention up into your piko po'o or the top of your head.
Take a moment to honor your connection with your amukua or ancestors.
Allow understanding and enlightenment to flow in.
Bring your attention down into the muscles of your jaw,
Allowing those muscles to relax and your lips to part.
Bring your awareness down into your shoulders,
Allowing any tension and anything you've been carrying to be.
What down now?
Anything weighing you down?
Allow light,
Love,
Comfort,
And healing to flow down into your arms,
To your elbows,
To your wrists,
And to each mano mano lima,
Each finger.
Bring your attention back up into your chest and reconnect with your ha or breath.
Allow light,
Love,
Comfort,
And healing to flow down into your opu or your tummy and into each organ in your opu.
Focus into your piko vayina at your navel.
This is your connection to your mother and immediate family.
It's your closest piko to your naau or your energy center.
This is your seat of learning,
Of knowing,
And most of all,
Of feeling.
Allow yourself to feel emotionally stable,
Accepting of yourself,
Strong and courageous.
Bring your attention to your back and allow all the muscles from the top of your spine to the base of your spine to relax.
Allow your body to feel heavy into whatever surface it's sitting or laying upon.
Bring your awareness down into your pelvis and your piko munti or reproductive organs.
Allow yourself to love and enjoy your body,
Have healthy boundaries,
And experience the present moment through your senses.
Allow light,
Love,
Comfort,
And healing to flow down into your thighs,
The front,
The back,
The inner,
The outer.
Allow it to flow down to your knees,
Your shins,
Your calves,
And all the way down into each manamanavavai or toes.
Feel yourself deeply rooted and connected to your body.
Feel grounded like a tree into the āina or earth,
Feeling more stable,
Grounded,
And rooted with each breath.
Feel earth's energy flowing back up into you.
Allow it to permeate into each of your cells,
Bringing with it light and love,
Comfort and healing.
Stay with this feeling for a few moments.
Allow it to flow down into your thighs,
Your calves,
And your calves,
The front,
The inner,
The outer.
Now shine that light outward and in all directions around you.
Surrounding you just like a cocoon of protection,
A cocoon of safety.
Allow it to feel like the most comfy blanket tucking you in and giving you a big hug.
Stay with this feeling for a few moments.
And as our session slowly comes to a close,
I want you to remember that at any time,
Day or night,
You can call upon this feeling and it will be here for you.
And when you're ready,
You can begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers and blink your eyes open.
You can begin to wiggle your toes and your fingers and blink your eyes open.
Thank you for taking this time out of your busy schedules to do a little self-care.
Thank you for allowing me to be here with you.
And mahalo nui.
