This guided meditation will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.
So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio,
You're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions,
Where you can fully relax and let go.
So,
Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruptions,
Where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.
Should you need to open your eyes at any time,
Your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.
But for now,
Make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental wellbeing.
Find a position where your body feels completely supported and allow your hands to rest softly.
Allow your eyes to close and begin by breathing slowly and deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.
With every exhalation,
You imagine yourself letting go.
Letting go of thoughts,
Of tension,
Of effort.
Allow your shoulders to sink now.
Let your spine soften.
Allow your hips to settle deeply into the surface beneath you.
Bring attention now to your legs.
Let them become heavy and completely still.
Now bring to mind a staircase made of light,
Golden and glowing.
Each step radiating a calm,
Peaceful warmth.
At the top of the staircase,
You feel safe,
Steady and curious.
And with each breath,
You begin to walk down the staircase.
Each step guiding you deeper into stillness.
Step 10,
You take a breath and feel your shoulders release.
Step 9,
The muscles in your face soften.
Step 8,
Your arms and hands grow warm and heavy.
Step 7,
Your chest and belly feel soft and open.
Step 6,
You feel calm washing through your hips and thighs.
Halfway down now,
And deeper with every breath.
Step 5,
You feel the ground beneath you become softer.
Step 4,
Your feet and ankles relax fully.
Step 3,
All of you is heavy and calm.
Step 2,
You can hear only the sound of your breath and the soft hum of inner quiet.
Step 1,
You arrive at the bottom of the staircase and a doorway opens to your inner world.
A calm expansive space where you can create,
Heal and receive.
You're now in a deep state of relaxation,
Comfortable,
Safe and open.
And you can stay here as long as you need,
As you allow the work to begin.
Let's begin by simply noticing your breath,
No need to change it right now,
Just observe.
Each inhalation comes in and each exhalation flows out.
And allow yourself to settle into this moment just as you are.
And gently bring your hand to the heavenly gate point,
Also known as Shen Men,
Located in the upper part of your ear in this small triangular hollow.
Use your thumb and forefinger to gently massage this point in slow,
Small circles.
Take a slow deep breath in and exhale fully,
Again in and out.
With each gentle touch,
You imagine your nervous system softening,
Like waves calming after a storm.
You move your attention to your chest now.
At the centre of your breastbone is your CV17 point,
The sea of tranquility.
You can place your fingers gently there and breathe into your chest.
As you exhale you imagine a warm light expanding from your heart centre,
Flowing through your shoulders,
Arms and fingers.
You repeat silently or softly,
I am safe in this moment.
I allow peace to flow through me.
Now move your fingers to the L14 point,
The He Gu point,
Found in the webbing between your thumb and index finger.
Bring your thumb and index finger together to create a muscle bulge and press into the highest point of this bulge.
Hold it gently but firmly.
Imagine any tightness melting away now.
Picture it lifting from your body like a mist on a morning field.
Next bring your awareness to the top of your head,
The GV20 point or Bai Hui,
The hundred meeting point.
Find this place by placing your fingers on the tops of your ears and running them up to the centre of your head where they meet.
You can lightly rest your hand here or simply imagine a soft energy there and silently say to yourself,
I am open to calm.
I allow my mind to clear.
Picture any cloud of worry slowly drifting up and away,
Leaving your mind clear and bright.
Now let go of all points,
Just rest.
And feel the surface beneath you supporting your entire body.
There is nothing to do,
Nowhere to be,
Just here.
With each inhalation you invite in safety.
With each exhalation you release tension.
Inhaling gently repeating,
I am safe,
I am calm,
I am grounded.
Peace is within me,
Always available.
You are teaching your body to remember this peace and you are doing beautifully.
You can rest here for a few more quiet moments.
When you feel ready,
You can begin to return.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes and move your shoulders.
When you are ready you can open your eyes softly,
Taking in your space.
Feel the steadiness you've created,
The calm you've returned to.
You are safe,
You are grounded and you are whole.
All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.
Stronger by the day,
Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.
And when you're ready I'll count from 1 to 5 and you'll slowly come out of your state of relaxation.
Open your eyes feeling fully awake,
Refreshed and alert.
