Hi,
And welcome to this mini mindful meditation moment created just for you.
Begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Gently exhaling out through the mouth,
Beginning to rest your shoulders into your body.
Just notice how your body's feeling in this moment.
Begin to observe if there are any areas of tension in your head,
In your arms or torso,
In your legs or feet.
Right now in this moment,
You only have one thing to do,
And that's to relax into your own spirit,
Your own mind,
Your own body,
To connect with yourself and the divinity around you at this time.
In this moment,
As you continue to breathe softly and gently,
You're going to experience some mindful thoughts that drift in and out slowly,
Quickly.
It could be both at the same time.
Then all you have to do is just notice them,
To observe them without judgment,
Without analysis,
Just being present with everything that is happening within your mind and body at this time.
As you begin to feel more relaxed,
You notice that above you,
There's a beautiful sun that has strong rays,
Leaving the atmosphere of the universe and coming into the atmosphere of the earth,
Traveling into your body like a warm shower,
Relaxing and softening all of your muscles,
Starting with your head,
Traveling down all the way back your neck into your spine.
This warmth from the sun is relaxing your face,
Your shoulders all the way down your arms and to each fingertip.
The sun's warmth continues to travel down and through your chest,
Down into your belly,
Soothing any tension here,
Anything you're holding on to in your abdomen.
We ask that it just be let go of,
Noticing the energy being released,
Any heaviness from your hips.
As the sun continues to gently caress down your legs into your feet,
Out your feet and into the center of the earth below you.
You might even notice that underneath you at the earth's core,
You can feel the grounding energy from here,
That vibrant red color that generates up from the earth into your feet all the way up and through your legs,
Arriving at your heart and as the universe's star chakra comes down with a gold,
Vibrant violet color through your head into your chest,
Meeting at your heart chakra,
You feel both these energies meet at the place of love inside yourself.
And as the sun is still shining above you,
You notice that there's a path in front of you and you are in a forest.
The trees are so green,
The roots so brown,
You might even notice some of the leaves falling off and making a particular sound as they drop onto the ground.
Then you begin to walk on this path,
You can hear the leaves and the rocks underneath your feet.
You can feel the breeze of the wind on your face,
On your hands.
Not too hot and not too cold,
It's just right here.
And as you're walking,
You begin to hear the faint sounds of a stream somewhere in front of you that you slowly begin to wake your way towards.
As you come upon this beautiful green-blue flowing stream with clear,
Crisp water,
You notice that this is a place where you want to spend some time.
And while you're here observing the beauty of nature,
Connecting to your heart center and listening to the thoughts in your mind,
Here is a very small and enjoyable experience for you to have.
What you'll begin to do is you're going to begin to catch your thoughts,
Any thought,
Any thought that you have,
Whether it be,
What am I eating for dinner or what time am I waking up tomorrow?
Catch that thought.
And what you'll then do next is you might notice a leaf begin to fall from the beautiful trees around you and that leaf stops in front of you.
You imprint that thought,
Whatever it is that you're thinking onto the leaf,
Whether it's in an image or you're actually writing the thought down on the leaf.
And the leaf begins to travel down and down until it hits the stream in front of you.
Once it hits the stream in front of you,
That leaf will slowly drift away.
And that's what we want.
We want the leaf to slowly drift away into a different space,
Into a different time,
Into a different area.
And we can do this as many times as we want.
So in this moment,
I invite you for the next two minutes or so to take whatever thought you have that comes to your mind,
Imprint it on a leaf,
Have that leaf gently float down in front of you onto the stream in front of you and have the stream delicately let it wash away.
As you're doing this,
Just begin to focus on your breath.
Let nature take its course through your mind.
And I'll bring you back in just a moment.
Take your time here.
Let nature take its course through your mind.
Let nature take its course through your mind.
Let nature take its course through your mind.
Let nature take its course through your mind.
Beautiful.
And whatever thought that you've just recently released,
Invite yourself here to take a deep breath in through the nose,
Exhaling out through the mouth,
Resting your shoulders,
Noticing the earth around you as the trees continue to exist.
The sun continues to shine.
The stream continues to be present with movement and taken all of your surroundings into your body.
Begin to note that all of the thoughts that you released,
You become unattached to in this moment as they just exist and then they fly away or float away.
Next the experience of this meditation,
The idea of an attachment,
The idea of our thoughts do not control us.
The idea of we can let go of what we want or choose to at any time,
At any place,
Anywhere and any moment of the day.
As shortly we will begin to move our way back into the present time.
Remind yourself how wonderful you are.
Remind yourself that even though there are days when your headspace is full of thoughts,
That you exist inside and that you are not your thoughts,
You have them.
You are not your sensations,
You feel them.
You are not your body,
But you experience one.
You are you.
The self is context,
The core you.
Always changing,
Always growing,
Always evolving.
Begin to gently stand up if you were sitting or to stretch tall if you were standing.
Turn back around to the path that was behind you and is now in front of you.
Walking back as you take one last look at the trees,
The sky,
At earth.
Arriving at the spot where you first imagined the forest to be.
Working with you,
All of the vibrations of what you just experienced.
In this moment,
All is well.
Gently begin to come back to your body,
Breathing in,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes and whenever you are ready,
Gently begin to open up your eyes to this day.
Sending love and light your way.
Namaste.
