In this guided visualization, we check in with our self. We go into a safe, deeply connected place and are invited to see and feel ourselves in a 360 degree, full, authentic, connected way. Where are we now? What is coming up for each of us? We then step out and back into our daily life more aware, more in touch, more connected.

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation where we get to do a spiritual journey check-in.

And so to start with,

Let's find a place,

Whether it's sitting or laying down,

Where we can rest and come into our being.

Let's find a comfortable position.

And once we're there,

Let's do three deep breaths together.

And that time really just helps to slow us down and to come into presence with where we are right now.

And so to help with that,

Let's also just do a quick body scan just to connect with our body and make sure we're there with it.

Starting at the head,

Let's just feel our temples and relax them.

Let's feel the eyes and the area around the eyes and let's relax it.

Let's feel the jaw,

The jawbone and relax it.

Let's feel the neck and the shoulders.

And just let go and relax.

And let's cascade that down through the arms and through the fingers.

And just let go and relax the wrists and the elbows and the shoulders all relaxed.

The chest and the rib cage all relaxed.

The belly and the abs all relaxed.

The hips,

Knees and ankles,

Feet,

Toes all relaxed,

All through the legs relaxed.

And now a whole body from head to toe.

If it reclenched up,

Let's just relax.

And as we prepare for our journey,

For spiritual journey check-in,

Let's take a moment and recall a place in nature that we love to go to,

Whether it's real or imaginary.

Let's bring that place up in our mind's eye.

And then let's transport ourselves there,

Slowly.

Let's think about the details.

What time of day is it?

What's the environment like?

What's the temperature like?

Is the sun out?

Is it setting?

Is it rising?

Is the moon out?

Are there animals?

Are there any bodies of water?

What sounds can be heard?

Let's really put ourselves there.

What do we feel?

What's touching us?

What's not touching us?

What does the air feel like?

And now let's make our way towards a path or a trail that we know about and is heading towards a dwelling we know about,

A home,

A place we're safe,

A place that's very spiritual for us,

Very connected.

It's just us and it's very alive.

Our spiritual ancestors can be there,

Our guides,

The higher selves of our guides,

Our own higher self.

Animals,

Spirit animals,

Family ancestors,

Any connection you have to the spirit realm that's welcome in this space is there and they're ready to greet us as we walk in,

As we walk towards it and walk in.

The place is very familiar.

It's known.

There's a calmness to it,

A warmth,

An invitation,

A welcoming.

And we remind ourselves of our intent of this journey is for a full check-in,

A way for us to fully see ourselves on our spiritual path and no better place in this dwelling,

In this setting,

In this environment,

Safe,

Comfortable,

True.

Loving.

And so we take our time,

Not in a hurry,

Greeting our spiritual ancestors,

Our guides,

Whatever comes through to us,

And really taking a moment to connect in deeply to our heart center,

Into our being reading out from there,

And into the guides and guidance of the larger universe and to the earth itself through our feet,

Through our body.

And we just take a moment to feel that connection coming in.

Breathe with it and welcome it and invite it in.

Open our spiritual bodies,

Our physical bodies to the healing,

To the messages,

To the check-in.

And as we settle into this space and into this time and into this location,

We know just in the back of this dwelling is a room,

A very sacred room,

Where we go for our check-in,

For our real,

True,

Profound check-in.

And we gather ourselves,

We gather the courage in our hearts,

Growing clearer and clearer and clearer on our intent.

As we walk towards that room,

There's a threshold,

A boundary we have to step over and into the room.

We pause just beforehand,

Bringing our hearts in prayer,

Just in front of our hands in prayer,

Just in front of our hearts.

We bow our heads,

Taking three deep breaths,

Bringing the peace,

Tranquility,

Truth,

And compassion.

As we invited those energies in,

And any of our guiding energies as well,

We courageously step over the threshold,

Into the room behind the room,

Into the darkness and to the stillness.

The room's not large,

But it is very dark.

The earth can be felt beneath our feet strong,

Holding us up,

Supporting us.

We feel the sacredness of the room,

The holiness of the room.

We settle in,

Whether that's standing,

Sitting,

Or lying down,

Whatever is comfortable.

We begin to just open,

Open our full body.

From our feet to our head,

We open.

We open for guidance,

For truth,

For patience,

And for love.

And all 360 degrees of our body,

From our back to our front,

We open.

And we connect in with our guides,

Whatever guide comes to us,

Whatever that feels like,

If it's a felt sense,

If it's an emotion in the body,

If it's a pain in the body,

If it's a felt sense of joy.

Perhaps we're seeing colors or visions.

However,

The divine's connecting to us in these moments.

We're aware,

And we're grateful,

And we receive.

We're grounded into our earth,

Feeling the earth below us.

And we just take these moments in silence to receive.

And as we receive in silence,

In the darkness,

Perhaps there's a palpable energy,

A feeling,

An awareness of being seen,

Of being fully seen,

And a feeling of safety,

That you're okay,

That this is okay,

That we're held,

And a chance for us to see ourselves fully,

Truly,

In all the beauty and humility of being human.

And we pause,

And we breathe,

And we soak in just a little bit more.

And at this point,

Feel free to pause if you're proceeding brilliantly or if you're ready to step out.

We take our hands to the prayer position right in front of our heart,

Softly,

Gently,

As if you're holding that hand of a child,

A newborn infant.

Hold your own hands in that way,

That love.

Bow the head,

Grateful for this universe,

For this earth,

For this time,

For you giving yourself this time,

For us as a community,

Giving all of ourselves this time.

For the guidance,

For the guides,

We radiate out.

We lift our heads,

Drop our hands,

And with a deep breath,

We step back over that threshold we walked into this room,

Pausing to continue to absorb and to integrate,

Perhaps going back through the messages,

The feelings,

The sensations,

The present state of being.

What do we want to carry forward?

What are we ready to let go of?

What came out of that moment?

And what is our heart wishing for us to do?

Imagine these moments in your dwelling,

In your mind's eye,

For peace,

For reflection,

For integration,

And really feeling our feet on the earth,

In this dwelling,

In this safe dwelling,

Safe,

Secured,

Connected to our earth.

We can say thank you,

Quietly even,

As whispers of the heart of true gratitude to this dwelling,

To our ancestors,

To our guides,

To all that we connected to,

As we then proceed out of the dwelling,

Knowing we can come back at any point for any reason,

Walk back out into the nature,

To the environment we came out,

And we can see what that's like,

What the sun is like,

What the moon is like,

What the air feels like,

What elements are available,

What animals appear,

How do we feel?

We walk back towards where we came in,

And then we come back into our bodies slowly,

Come back into the here and into the now,

Into our current room,

Into our current physical room,

Our physical location.

And in this location,

We come back into our bodies,

We come back in,

We feel our head and we feel our shoulders,

Maybe we wiggle our arms or our fingers gently,

Softly,

Mindfully,

Present in our fingers,

Present in our toes,

Present in our ankles,

In our legs,

In our shoulders,

All the way through our torso,

Our hips,

Our hearts,

And our heads,

Our full body.

We're present again,

Alive and well.

And if anything came up that is worth journaling or sharing or telling a friend,

However spirit moved you,

Proceed and enjoy the day,

Enjoy the evening,

Enjoy these moments of your life.
