Prepare your body in a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
If you are seated and need a support,
Then sitting on a chair or against a wall can be very beneficial.
Wherever you are,
Making some small adjustments to the posture and the body.
Make sure the spine is straight and the shoulders and neck are relaxed.
If you are in a cross-legged position,
Bring the hands,
Palms face up on the knees.
If you are lying down,
Bring the arms by the sides of the body and turn the palms to face up.
Gently bring your index fingers and thumbs to touch.
Allow the rest of the fingers to relax and curl naturally.
Becoming aware of that light pressure,
The light connection between finger and thumb.
Gyan Mudra,
A hand seal creating a tiny circuit of energy and activating pressure points symbolising inner wisdom,
Higher knowledge,
Connection to truth and the true self that lies within.
Bringing your awareness to the crown of the head and visualising a channel of light moving into the crown of the head and down through the spine.
Every inhalation,
Breathe the light in through the crown of the head,
Down to the base of the spine.
On the exhalation,
Allow this light,
The freedom to radiate throughout the entire body.
The inhalation,
Breathing the light through the crown of the head,
Down through the spine,
The home of the central nervous system and the exhalation releasing that light to the peripheral nervous system filling the body with this light.
The inhalation,
A white warm light travelling all the way down the spine and the exhalation releasing that light down to the toes,
The fingertips,
The shoulders.
Breathing at your own pace,
Breathing in your own rhythm.
Holding this visualisation,
A white beam of light creating a channel from the crown of the head down the spine to the tailbone and the exhale releases flooding the entire body with this beautiful light.
Breathing in and out through the spine.
Breathing in and out through the spine.
Continuing to concentrate on the movement of this light.
Releasing the light from the crown down the spine and then releasing,
Illuminating the whole body with this light.
Full awareness on mastering the movement of this light.
Following the light,
Travel down the spine and then spread to the forehead,
To the elbows,
To the small circuit of the fingers and thumbs in yamatra,
To the hips,
To the knees.
Every cell bathed in this light.
Every neuron,
Every atom wrapped in this light.
You are the master of your being.
This body,
This breath,
These cells,
Your heart and your imagination are your anchors,
Your keys to the heaven that lies within.
Bringing the light down into this body.
Bringing the grace of the intelligence of nature to every cell.
Opening your true potential.
Connecting with your eternal self.
Stepping into the mastery of your inner world,
Your inner works,
Your inner universe and your inner kingdom.
This next exhalation as the light floods through the body once more,
Allowing the light to remain,
Releasing the concentration on the crown and returning to the natural effortless breath.
Feeling each cell,
Each organ,
Each cell,
Each organ,
Each cell,
Each organ,
Each organ,
Each organ,
Each limb,
Covered and filled with this light.
Knowing that the power of this light is always available.
The doors to your inner kingdom always open.
Very gently releasing the circuit of the fingers,
The body remaining still.
If you are drifting off to sleep and wishing you the sweetest of dreams.
And if you are coming round from meditation,
Bringing some small movements to the fingers,
The neck and head.
If you are lying down slowly finding your way to a comfortable seat.
Drop the chin down to the chest and gently blink your eyes open.
Have a wonderful day.
