Our bodies are incredible vessels that carry us through life, yet we often take them for granted. In this meditation, we'll explore the practice of giving thanks to our bodies, and how it can help us feel more centered and connected to nature. By taking a moment to appreciate our bodies and all that they do for us, we can cultivate a sense of gratitude and well-being. So take a deep breath, let go of any tension, and join me on this journey of self-discovery and love.

So beautiful souls,

Just gently closing your eyes and bringing your hands together at heart centre and just start to rub them,

Rub those beautiful fingers,

Start to create a little bit of heat,

A little bit of friction.

Just starting to bring yourself present to this moment of now and just taking a nice long slow deep breath in through the nose and letting it go out the mouth.

And again nice long slow deep breath in through the nose,

Really breathing down into your belly and then letting it go out the mouth,

Feeling your shoulders soften,

Your body relax,

Your face relax and once more just like that nice long slow deep breath in through the nose,

Feeling your whole torso expand,

Your belly expand and just pausing at the top,

Just holding briefly and then exhaling out the mouth,

Letting it all go,

Just dropping into this present moment.

Just taking a moment right now just to tune into the sounds,

The sounds in my environment,

The sounds in your environment that are close by.

Maybe noticing the rolling waves,

Noticing the blustering wind and then noticing the sounds that are further away,

Maybe the distant sound of birds chirping,

Dogs barking,

Maybe traffic that's passing by your house and just taking a moment to see if you can make yourself perhaps 5 or 10% more comfortable and just making any necessary adjustments,

Whatever you need to help you land in this space just as you are,

Knowing that you are whole and perfect and complete and just knowing and accepting and seeing yourself as this perfect whole and complete being.

Let's just take a moment to give thanks for our bodies,

This human machine,

This vehicle that carries our soul around.

So just taking a moment now to embrace every single part of your body with gratitude.

So we just do a gentle body scan to smother ourselves in gratitude and thanks.

So beginning with your head as part of your body that carries your thinking machine,

Your brain,

Thanking your brain for the thousands of thoughts that it thinks on a daily basis,

This incredible thinking machine that has up to 90,

000 thoughts a day.

Thank you,

Thank you.

And bringing your awareness now down to your eyes,

Relaxing your eyes,

Allowing your eyeballs to float in their sockets and just giving thanks to your eyes for the gift of sight that you are able to see the world that you occupy,

That you live in.

You get to perceive the world with the sense of sight.

Bringing your awareness now down to your nose and your nostrils,

Giving thanks for the gift of breath that travels easily and effortlessly in and out of your nose.

You never have to worry if there's enough breath.

You never have to worry whether the breath can travel in or out.

It just does so easily and effortlessly.

Thank you,

Nostrils.

Thank you,

Nose.

Thank you,

Breath,

For the gift of air,

For the gift of life.

And bringing your awareness now down your cheeks and down to your mouth,

Which houses each one of your marvelous teeth and your magnificent tongue.

Just giving thanks right now for each and every one of those teeth,

That tongue and that mouth and your gorgeous lips,

For the gift of communication,

Of speech,

For the gift of nourishment,

For the gift of hydration,

For the gift of smiling,

And anything else you wish to give thanks and gratitude for,

For your mouth.

Just spending a little moment now hugging,

Hugging your mouth with gratitude,

Your mouth and your throat.

And then bringing your awareness now down to your throat and your neck and your shoulders.

And again,

Just giving thanks,

Thanks to all of these muscles and these bones that are in your neck that hold your head up high,

These shoulders that carry the weights,

Carry the burdens,

And your shoulder blades,

Your upper spine,

Your front chest.

Bring your awareness down to your heart in the center of your chest.

Maybe placing your hand over your heart just to activate your second brain,

This magnetic field.

And just giving thanks to your heart for the gift of life,

For the gift of blood that pumps around your body.

Every second it's pumping out,

Every second it's pumping back in again,

In this incredible network of veins that travel all around your body.

Your body is a miraculous miracle.

It's a phenomenon,

It's a self-healing phenomenon,

Powered by this wonderful organ at the center of your chest,

This heart.

It is the first organ to be created after conception.

This powerful heart space,

The seat of your intuition,

Your knowing,

Your loving.

It's because of this heart that you are able to love and give love.

So just give it some love right now,

Give it some thanks and gratitude.

Just say thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Feel that inner smile emanating from your heart.

And just bringing your awareness now to your upper arms,

Your elbows,

Your lower arms,

Your forearms,

And your hands,

Your wrists,

Your fingers,

For giving you the gift of strength,

Giving you the gift of dexterity,

Giving you the gift of creativity,

Being able to write and draw and paint,

And anything else that you do with your fingers,

Your hands,

Your strength,

Your arms,

Being able to lift,

Carry,

Hold someone's hand,

Hug someone you love,

Hug someone you care about.

Just giving thanks for your arms,

Your hands,

Your fingers,

And the love that you can give,

The value that you can give.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

Thank you,

Left arm.

Thank you,

Right arm.

I value you.

And then just bringing your awareness to your lungs,

Your left lung,

Your right lung,

For the gift of breath,

Noticing as you inhale and as you exhale,

All the alveoli filling up with air,

Providing oxygen to your cells and your muscles,

Without any conscious thoughts.

Your body,

Your organs are always working for you.

If you cut yourself,

Your body only works to heal you.

Your body has got your back.

Bringing your awareness now down into all of your organs,

In your beautiful torso,

These incredible organs,

Each with their own functions,

Gifts,

Your stomach,

Your spleen,

Your intestines,

Your kidneys,

Your liver,

All designed in this perfect machine,

And all running without any conscious thought,

Just doing their thing,

Nourishing you,

Feeding you,

Cleansing you,

Purifying you.

Just give thanks right now,

Even if some of these organs might have some cravings,

Needs,

Wants,

Desires,

Then that's okay.

Just give them some love today.

Maybe you've never thought of how miraculous your body is.

Maybe today is that opportunity to just turn the torch inwards,

Turn your reflection inwards,

And just reflect on how remarkable you are,

How incredible you are,

What a feat of statistical almost impossibility you are,

That you are here,

That you are here right now in this universe,

In this time,

In this space,

In this location,

In the galaxy,

That you are sat on this earth,

In that spot,

And that spot is on this planet,

And this planet is in this galaxy.

How remarkable that is.

Just feeling your connection right now to the earth,

Through your sit bones,

Through your root chakra,

And just giving thanks,

Thanks for that connection.

Feeling your awareness now down your thighs and your hamstrings.

Your awareness now is in your legs,

Your phenomenal legs,

Your articulated legs,

Your strong legs that help you move and stride forwards in your life,

That carry you upright,

That help you sit down,

Help you get to where you need to be without any questioning,

Just step after step,

Forward movement after forward movement,

Bended knee,

Straightened leg,

And your awareness now down to your calves and your beautiful feet,

And each and every one of your beautiful toes.

Just giving so much thanks to your legs and your feet for the gift of balance,

For the gift of movement,

To be able to run,

Jump,

Hop,

Skip,

Belly flop,

Three-legged race,

Side jumps,

Parkour,

Running over bridges,

Swimming underwater,

Whatever we choose to do in our lives,

Powered by our legs,

Just give thanks for that now,

Thanks for that activity,

Thanks for that play,

Thanks for the joy and the ability to move freely,

To exercise,

To walk,

And just to be able to stand with those beautiful feet flat on this earth,

Making that connection with the soles of our feet,

With each and every step.

10,

000 steps,

20,

000 steps,

5,

000 steps,

All made possible by our feet and by each one of our toes,

And they all do these jobs for us without any question,

Without any hesitation,

They just say yes,

They just say yes,

Because we are made of nature,

And nature is always saying yes,

Nature is always for us,

The universe is always for us,

It's always saying yes.

So just giving thanks for our entire body,

Thanks for all the internal systems,

For the breath,

For the life force,

For the blood that flows,

For all the connections,

The synapses,

The cells,

The trillions of cells,

The billions of cells,

All the bacteria,

Everything that lives in us,

On us,

That is all living and working for us.

I just say thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you for this miracle that my soul gets to move around in this vehicle,

That houses my spirit,

And just knowing that this vehicle is perfect,

Whole and complete,

Just as anything we see in nature is perfect,

Whole and complete,

Even the imperfections are perfect.

A tree doesn't have to try to be a tree,

It just is.

A robin doesn't have to try to be a robin,

She just is.

The ocean doesn't have to try to be the ocean,

It just is.

Each wave that crashes onto the ocean,

Onto the coastline,

Each one is different and each one is perfect.

So just recognising right now our connection and our symbiosis with nature,

Accepting all that we are as perfect,

Whole and complete.

So just taking a moment to drink in that gratitude,

To drink in how phenomenal you truly are.

Learning to accept ourselves as we truly are,

Learning to accept this moment just as it is,

Knowing that we are already perfect,

Whole and complete just as we are,

Is one of the most liberating things we can ever learn,

Knowing that everything we need is right here right now,

We already are it right here,

Right now there's nothing left to do,

Nothing left to learn,

We can have heaven on earth right now if we choose to.

We create our worlds with the thoughts and the beliefs in our minds,

So we can choose to create heaven or hell on earth,

It's our choice.

So just learning to be present to what is,

Not trying to change anything,

Not trying to force anything,

Just seeing things for how they are,

Not how we would like them to be and bringing heaven on earth right now.

Just knowing that in any moment where we might feel dis-ease or discomfort or any sense of separation,

It's just a fleeting moment and that this too shall pass and we get to come back to that heaven on earth whenever we choose to and we can do that right here right now.

So just holding that in your consciousness as your centering thought as you go about the rest of your day.

Let's bring this beautiful meditation to a close,

So first of all I just invite you to reach your arms out to the sides,

Reaching up and overhead,

Bringing your right palm to meet your left and just pausing there for a moment with your armpits open just to allow the lymph system to drain just for a few seconds,

Inhaling and then as you exhale bringing your hands down your center line,

Past your crown,

Past your third eye,

Past your throat chakra and just coming to rest at your beautiful heart space with your thumbs pointing into your clavicle and your fingers pointed slightly away and your head bowed.

Once again just giving gratitude,

Gratitude to yourself,

Your higher self,

Your spirit,

That part of you that is part of everything,

That is one with all and also giving thanks to each and every person on this meditation whether they joined us now in this now moment or whether they joined us in a future now moment knowing that in the quantum there is no past,

There is no future,

There is only now.

So just wishing them namaste,

Namaste,

Namaste,

The light in me recognizes the light in you.

And then finally giving thanks to our teachers,

Mentors,

Guides,

Those who inspire us and guide us,

Those who have gone before us and shared their teachings,

Shared their knowledge that we too may experience that which is auspicious to them I just say thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you.

And so beautiful ones let's seal this meditation by chanting on the hymn of the universe together just once so first of all taking a nice cleansing breath and letting it go and now breathing in for OM remembering to give equal time to the O and the M breathing in for OM and just allowing those vibrations to settle maybe gently lowering your hands down to your lap just keeping your eyes closed just for a moment listening to the birds.

And then when you're ready and in your own time perhaps on the next exhale just gently floating your eyes open to come back into this present moment and just taking a moment to pause there with your eyes open but with this presence of mind bringing back with you the qualities from that meditation into your waking state.

And if you need to making notes of any downloads that came to you,

Any insights that came from your higher self.

Thank you for taking me to this place of gratitude where I can acknowledge the miracle of each part of my body and the contribution to my being and all that as a whole, it does for me.
