Hello,

I'm Jo Hamilton and welcome to today's meditation.

So take your time and find a comfortable position,

Maybe sitting or lying down,

Whatever feels good.

And just gently allow your eyes begin to close,

Or perhaps even just soften your gaze.

And as you get comfortable,

Take a nice deep breath in through your nose and release it slowly through your mouth.

And again,

Breathing in deeply and letting go.

And as you continue to breathe naturally,

Just notice how your body begins to settle.

Your shoulders dropping away from your ears,

Maybe your jaw releasing and your face softening.

And this morning moment is yours,

A time when your subconscious mind is open,

Receptive,

Ready to receive whatever serves you.

And with each breath,

Allow yourself to drop deeper into a state of calm awareness,

Allowing your conscious mind to rest now.

And there's nothing you need to figure out,

Nothing to solve,

Nothing to do in this moment,

Just breathe,

Just this breath,

Just this moment.

And now begin to imagine a gentle,

Warm light starting to glow at the centre of your chest.

It might be golden,

Or white,

Or any colour that feels healing to you.

Just allow this light to represent your inner calm.

And it's always there,

Just waiting patiently beneath the surface.

And as you continue to breathe in,

This light grows a little brighter,

Stronger.

And as you breathe out,

It begins to expand now,

Spreading warmth and light through your chest,

Into your shoulders and down your arms.

And this light carries a message from your deepest self,

A truth that your subconscious mind knows,

You are enough,

Exactly as you are in this moment.

And let this light continue to expand,

Flowing through your chest,

Into your belly,

Soothing any tension it meets.

Moving down through your hips,

Your legs,

All the way to your feet and toes.

And flowing upwards too,

Into your neck and head,

Bringing that soft clarity and peace.

And allow your entire body now to be filled with this healing light.

And with each breath,

Your subconscious mind absorbing whatever it needs to integrate this healing energy.

And I invite you to just inwardly repeat these words to yourself.

Or simply just allow them to wash over you.

I begin this day with calm in my heart.

I am supported by my own inner wisdom.

And I can connect to peace whenever I need to.

Let these words settle within you.

Planting seeds in the fertile ground of your subconscious mind.

Seeds that will grow throughout your day.

Perhaps in ways you won't even notice consciously.

But you'll feel their effects more and more as you move about your day.

Perhaps a little more ease,

A little more grace with yourself.

And take one more deep,

Nourishing breath in.

And as you release it,

Know that you carry this calm with you.

And begin to bring gentle awareness back to your body.

Reconnecting your body with your environment.

Gently moving your fingers and toes.

Maybe rolling your shoulders.

And whenever you're ready,

At your own pace,

Allow your eyes to open.

And welcome to your day.

May it unfold with unexpected ease.
