Hello,

Hello and welcome to another meditation.

Today's meditation is on the miracle of you.

So let's get comfortable,

Whatever that looks like for you,

That is with eyes closed or with eyes open,

Whatever is comfortable for you and whatever is safe for you.

And when you're there,

Let's just begin by focusing on our breath,

Not forcing anything,

Just noticing.

Noticing the expansion of our lungs as we breathe in,

How that presses our chest out,

Presses down into our bellies,

Pressing our belly out.

In the reverse,

Lungs contracting,

Our chest and belly is doing the same.

Notice what that feels like with each breath in and each breath out.

And now,

Still without forcing anything,

Think about the miracle of each breath,

What is happening physiologically as you breathe in and as you breathe out.

The fact that your body takes in the air,

Takes the oxygen from that air,

Pulls it into your body on each breath in and with each breath out,

Carbon dioxide is removed from your body and expel each breath,

Each single breath is a miracle.

Everything that goes into each breath is a miracle.

From where the air enters our body,

Our nose or through our mouth,

The act of inhaling our diaphragm going down in our lungs to expand,

Take the air in,

Air coming in,

Oxygen,

Filling our lungs,

Filling our body,

Filling our blood cells,

Carbon dioxide,

Other toxins coming out of our body,

Back into that air that we expel as the diaphragm pushes back up,

Shrinks our lungs,

Pushes that air out.

That happens thousands of times every day.

How miraculous is that?

And think about with each breath,

There are several heartbeats.

Our heart is beating to take that air,

That oxygen to all our organs throughout our body,

Keeping us alive,

Pumping that blood through the body,

Bringing it to the lungs,

Expelling the toxins.

Each breath is a miracle.

Each heartbeat is a miracle.

Again,

Thinking physiologically,

What is happening?

And think about the neurons,

The brain cells,

Literally,

That are in your heart,

And that's happening.

And the connection between the heart and the mind,

The brain.

We truly do feel our emotions,

Positive and negative.

Happiness and sadness can be felt in the heart.

And think about the fact that we can feel physically and emotionally.

We can think emotionally and logically.

We can think through patterns and processes.

We are miracles.

You are a miracle.

How often do we think about ourselves in that light?

How often do we get consumed with everything else that is going on and forget about the miracle that we are?

How often do you get consumed and think about everything else and forget about the miracle that you are?

Every second,

Of every hour,

Of every day,

Of every month,

Of every year of your life,

You are a,

Remember that,

You are a miracle.

And now start to come back,

Focusing on the breath again.

And I finish with one.

And by emptying those miraculous lungs of all that air,

Breathing out,

Emptying,

Emptying,

Emptying,

Holding at the bottom,

Noticing that emptiness,

And now breathing in,

Nice,

Deep,

Full breath in,

All the way.

Another miracle right here.

Holding at the top and letting it go.

Nice and slow.

Nice and relaxed.

That's one more miracle.

And now,

In your own time,

When you're ready,

Start to come back out of the practice.

And may you have a blessed and miraculous day.

Take care.
