Radical Gratitude & Ho’oponopono: A Journey Of Connection
How often do we take for granted the very things that sustain us—our health, our safety, our intellect, and the love that surrounds us? This practice is a deep dive into Radical Gratitude, where we stop to acknowledge the gifts we often overlook. We will move through your life using the four healing phrases of Ho’oponopono: I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you. By offering these words to the different areas of our lives—from our physical bodies to our ancestors—we dissolve the "spells" of scarcity and unworthiness, making space for grace to flow.

My dearest ones,
This meditation combines two of my favorite modalities,
Ho'oponopono and Conscious Radical Gratitude.
So today we will be using the Ho'oponopono phrases to express thanks for different aspects of our existence.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable place to either sit down or lie down.
A place where you won't be disturbed for the next few minutes.
Close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly.
If during this meditation your mind begins to wander,
Just bring your focus back to my voice and to your breathing.
And just watch those thoughts drift away like clouds in the sky.
There is no struggle with this.
There is no trying.
There is just being right here in the present moment.
There is no right or wrong way to do this meditation.
So simply allow your mind to relax and allow your thoughts to still and settle down.
As you go deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation.
Let us start with the gifts of the physical world around you in this moment.
Things around you that you may take for granted.
Things that you are truly grateful for.
As each rises in your mind's eye.
Allow yourself to see it and experience it as vividly as you can.
Your internet is working.
So you are able to experience this meditation.
Your room is comfortable.
Your seat is comfortable.
Your clothes give you so much comfort.
You have had a good meal.
You have clean drinking water.
And so many more things.
Letting go of any negative feelings or associations that came with the words I just said.
Any feelings of lack or competition or scarcity.
And if these feelings are coming up.
Then we cleanse them with the Ho'oponopono chant.
And as each of these thoughts appears.
Say to yourself.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Apologizing for all the times that you have not acknowledged or used these gifts to their full potential.
Please forgive me.
Feeling the universe smiling upon you with kindness and empathy.
I love you.
And finally thank you.
For all that I have.
For all that I have not said thank you enough.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Feel these words going through your spirit as you become more aware.
More relaxed.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
For your physical body.
Which holds and protects your mind and spirit.
Even in the most trying situations.
And for all the times that you have not taken care of your body enough.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For your home.
Whatever it may look like.
It is a place where you rest.
Where you dream.
Where you plan.
And for the sense of wanting more when you have seen bigger and more beautiful houses.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
My dearest home.
The place where I rest my weary head every night.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
Your money.
Which gives you the opportunity to purchase things for yourself and others.
And keeps you safe and happy.
And for the options that it brings to you to leave toxic situations.
And for those times when you felt impressed or oppressed by money.
Or you used it to impress or oppress someone else.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
When I took for granted what I had in my wallet.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
When I cribbed and cribbed and cribbed because what I had in my wallet was not enough.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For the food which sustains your physical body.
For when you have used food to hide deep truths from yourself.
And the times when you have withheld food from those who really need it.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For your parents who brought you into this world.
And shaped you into this gorgeous,
Magnificent person that you are right now.
Even if you may not have agreed with their ways.
Those times when you have not communicated with them clearly.
For the times when you have not given your ancestors enough thanks.
They were and so you are.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
To my lineage.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Take a few more moments to allow other physical gifts to come before you.
And as each of your physical gifts comes in front of you.
Offer each one the Ho'oponopriya.
The desk that you use.
The chair that you sit on.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Now bring to mind all the mental gifts and opportunities that you have been given.
All the intellectual talents that you have.
And the resources that you have to pursue them.
And for all the times when you squandered your resources.
When you didn't use your intellect.
When you didn't use your mind.
When you wasted this beautiful brain of yours.
Or when you refused to share it with those who could have used your help.
When you withheld your mental gifts from others.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
For the education that you have received.
Whatever it was.
And the sacrifices that those around you made.
So that you could obtain it.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
For all the talents.
All the skills that you have naturally been given as a gift.
Or those that you have worked very hard to obtain.
And for all the times when you didn't use these talents.
For whatever reasons.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
Thinking of all the personal and professional opportunities.
You have or you had in your life.
For those you did not take and wasted.
Because of your own fears.
Your own beliefs.
Your own patterns.
And for those that you took.
And experienced because of your courage.
Because of stepping out of your comfort zone.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For all those times that you made the wrong decision.
Or you made a decision that hurt others.
And for all the times when you did not act till it was too late.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For the attention you have given to the learning that mattered to you.
And for the times that the attention could not be spent on what you really wanted to spend it on.
For the sixth sense you have for your intuition.
For your not listening to the voice of your intuition always.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Feel the gratitude and the forgiveness flowing from your heart.
For all the gifts that you have.
You are offering gratitude.
And for all the gifts that you did not use.
Or did not acknowledge.
You are offering the Ho'oponopono prayer.
And this beautiful stream of gratitude and Ho'oponopono which is flowing from your heart.
Goes out into the universe.
And finally comes back to you.
Now I want you to turn your heart and mind to the emotional and spiritual gifts that you have been given.
For the faith tradition that you were raised in.
For the lessons that it taught you.
For the strength to define and redefine your spirituality.
Based on your own experiences of the world.
And for the higher power that you might believe in.
The source energy.
Whatever name you call it by.
Which is always pouring grace on you.
In material of whether you accept,
Acknowledge or even remember it.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
This higher self that I often forget to connect to.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For all the beautiful relationships,
The friendships and the connections that I have in my life.
For these relationships that make you more.
For the relationships that may have been fruitful once but now only hold you back.
Releasing them with hope one upon one.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For all the friends who taught you how to love.
And for those you taught.
For the wisdom to let go of that which does not nurture you.
Your higher purpose.
Even if it causes pain in the present.
And for all the people in your life right now who continue to love you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
For your family.
For those people who feel like family.
They make you laugh or comfort you when you cry.
For your own love and compassion towards them.
To remain attentive and caring no matter what life brings.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Thank you.
And as you stay in this space of deep relaxation.
Allow any and all gifts to present themselves to you.
Sometimes our most needed blessings are those that come disguised as pain or anger.
If you encounter any of these feelings right now.
Look a little deeper and find the gift or lessons that came with it.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
And breathe and let the forgiveness and the acceptance and the gratitude fill your entire body and your soul.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
And as we come to a close of this meditation.
I want you to realize and remember that beauty and gratitude are with you wherever you go.
Every single thing,
Every situation in your life is a gift.
Only if you look closely and believe.
And as you go forth through your day and your week and your month.
Keep the Ho'oponopono prayer in your consciousness and chant it.
And keep clearing all that you don't need.
Offering gratitude for all that you have.
The world is so beautiful and anything is possible.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
