This practice is your invitation to take a conscious break — to disconnect so you can reconnect with yourself and your life, more intentionally and more fully. When you learn to pause, to recharge, and re-center, you return to life with more energy, clarity, and a refreshed perspective. It can feel like the world is spinning faster than ever, and our nervous systems aren’t built to keep up with this relentless pace. Slowing down, finding comfort in stillness, and stepping away from the never-ending to-do list isn’t just a luxury — it’s a skill. And like any skill, you can get better at it.

Hi,

I'm Kasia and I will be your guide today.

This practice is your opportunity to slow down and take a break from everything that's going on in your life right now.

This is not about escapism but about recharging,

Recentering so you can go back to your life with more energy,

More focus and a new,

Hopefully better perspective.

It is so easy to lose yourself when you are rushing through your days.

This practice is your chance to take a conscious break,

Disconnect,

To reconnect in a better and more intentional way.

Being able to take that physical and mental break is a skill in itself so don't worry if your mind is restless,

Don't worry if your body is struggling to stay still.

Resting is a practice and you can get better at it.

If you haven't yet,

This is your moment to make yourself comfortable,

You can sit up,

Sit back or lie down to fully relax.

Gently soften your eyelids and close your eyes.

Start by noticing where your body is in contact with the surface beneath you and allow that surface to support you.

For this practice today,

Feel supported.

You don't have to hold it all together,

You don't have to control your surroundings and you don't have to do anything.

See if you can allow yourself to be exactly as you are right now.

Let go of the urge to adjust or improve or change anything.

Allow whatever is around you to be exactly as it is.

The sounds that surround you,

The smells,

The temperature,

Whatever you're resting on,

No need to change a thing.

Let's go for three deep breaths together and you can breathe in through your nose and maybe breathe out through your mouth.

Two more deep breaths.

One last breath,

Make it really deep and now allow your breath to come back to its natural pace and just notice the place in your body where you can sense it the most.

So maybe it's your chest rising and falling,

Maybe your belly expanding,

Maybe it's the area around your nostrils and the cooler air as you're inhaling and the warmer air as you're exhaling.

If your mind is still busy,

If it's taking your places,

That's perfectly fine.

That's what mind does.

You can notice where it's taking you but try to gently bring it back.

Bring it back to your body,

Bring it back to the present moment.

It doesn't matter how many times you get distracted,

All that matters is how many times you can come back.

Notice your feet in contact with the ground or whatever is beneath you.

Notice the sensation of your hands,

Maybe they're resting on your lap,

Maybe they are resting one on the other and see if you can soften all of your fingers and soften the palm of your hand.

Allow your body to become a little bit more heavy and see if you can soften your face.

Start by relaxing your forehead,

Your eyes,

The space behind your eyes,

The back of your head,

The back of your neck,

Softening your jaw,

Your lips and your tongue.

See if you can gently soften your collarbones,

Your arms,

All the way down towards your elbows and wrists,

Softening your chest,

Your ribcage,

Your upper back,

Your middle back,

Your lower back,

Your belly and your pelvis,

Softening your legs,

All the way down to your knees,

Your shins,

Your ankles and softening your feet.

As we soften our body,

Our mind softens as well.

If it's still taking you to the future or to the past,

It's fine,

Just keep bringing it back and take a moment to notice how you're feeling.

No right or wrong way to feel.

Let go of any judgment of yourself.

Observe with kindness and compassion.

And sometimes we can pick up on a very specific feeling,

Emotion,

State.

Sometimes it's a mix of different feelings and sometimes we feel neutral,

So whatever you're noticing is perfectly fine.

Softening your heart center,

Softening your belly,

Softening your face,

Softening your neck,

Softening your shoulders,

Allowing yourself to take a break.

Whatever's going on in your life will be waiting for you.

Come back to your breath,

That place in your body where you can feel your body breathing.

And just notice how your body is always breathing for you.

We can be rushing,

We can get stuck in our head,

We can worry,

We can feel anxious,

We can get lost in our thoughts,

But the body is always breathing.

And we can always come back to our breath to re-center.

The easiest way to calm your mind is to connect to your body.

And take a moment now to reflect on what's important for you right now.

How would you like to feel in your day to day?

Whatever comes up first,

It's usually the right answer.

Don't overthink it.

How would you like other people in your life to feel around you?

It can be something very simple,

It doesn't have to be a big thing,

But it's important to be intentional.

Great,

Let's take two more deeper breaths here.

One last extra deep breath,

Breathing in through your nose,

Breathing out through your mouth.

And now moving your fingers,

Moving your toes,

Waking up your body.

And whenever you are ready,

In your own time,

Opening your eyes,

Coming back to the space around you.

Thank you for practicing with me.

I wish you a wonderful,

Intentional rest of your day,

Or rest of your night,

Wherever you are.
