Hello and welcome to this Reiki Healing Meditation.
Before we get started,
Let's take a comfortable seat.
Maybe you're sitting in a chair with your feet planted on the ground,
Or you're sitting comfortably in a cross-legged position.
Or maybe you're on your back.
Be comfortable in whatever position you choose to be in.
Connecting with your breath.
Smooth,
Gentle breaths in and out of your nose or your mouth,
As long as you are breathing.
After making that connection to your breath,
Feel free to place your hands anywhere where they feel comfortable.
So if you're feeling any tension or if you're holding any kind of emotion someplace in your body,
Place your hands there,
Maybe on the belly,
On the chest,
Or the low back.
Anywhere where you feel inclined to place your hands.
And breathe into that space.
So whether the hands are on the chest or the belly or the back or anywhere else,
Take some deeper,
Fuller breaths and let the breath go to those places.
Part of this healing meditation is the Reiki going to the places in your body where you are holding that tension or you're feeling discomfort or pain.
And throughout the meditation,
If you feel like you need to move your hands someplace else,
Please feel free to do so.
So as we begin,
I'm going to recite the five Reiki principles just to invite that Reiki energy into our bodies for the healing.
Just for today,
I will not be angry.
I will not worry.
I will be grateful.
I will devote myself to my duties and I will be kind and compassionate to myself and to others.
So with your hands anywhere on your body that feels appropriate,
Let us begin.
I am healthy.
I am whole.
I am a self healer.
I hold all wisdom to heal myself within.
All I need to do is get still and get quiet.
My inner knowledge will guide me on my path to wellness.
I am powerful and I can overcome any obstacle that detours me.
I can heal myself through laughter,
Love,
Music,
And movement.
I take excellent care of myself,
Mind,
Body,
And spirit.
I can say no to things to keep myself in balance.
I can also say no to things that do not excite me.
I practice self-care daily and if I miss or if I forget,
I can forgive myself easily.
I can heal myself.
So we're going to run through those affirmations once more.
Again,
If you feel the need to switch positions or move your hands,
Please feel free to do that at any time.
Take a nice inhale through your nose and exhale out the mouth.
I am healthy.

I am a self healer.
I hold all wisdom to heal myself within.
All I need to do is get quiet and get still.

Let us take a few more breaths together.
Breathing in those affirmations and breathing in the energy of healing to our bodies.
Your reiki is the body's natural way of healing itself.
It's our innate ability to heal our own bodies.
Again a gentle breath in through the nose and out the mouth.
Softening and relaxing into those places where you hold tension or if you notice any pain or discomfort.
Allow the reiki energy to move through you and heal you.
Begin to bring some movement to your fingers and to your toes and invite a deeper and fuller breath to your body.
Simply waking your body up from this meditation.
On your next inhale,
Reach your arms up and overhead.
Full body stretch here and exhale,
Pulling down that divine universal energy to your heart center.
Hands in Anjali Mudra.
We pull down that divine universal energy to our heart center.
It vibrates as the frequency of love through which we are all connected.
The light in me salutes and honors the light in you.
Namaste.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
Take care and stay well.
