Let us take a moment now to sink into the self.
Together we can take a moment within our lives to learn the language of the body and then listen into the body's story with an awakened attention.
These stories are experiences that the body holds,
Birthed through images,
Colors,
And sensations within the physical soma.
These are tales told from the inside out.
These symbols and images illustrate the body's unique footprint of patterns and preferences.
They illustrate the body's ancestry.
This is the process of meaning making to bring a satisfying understanding to the cognitive mind as a sincere gift from the sacred capsule of the body.
Take a moment now to become comfortable seated or lying on your back with support underneath the foundation of your body so that you can allow yourself to fully rest in your posture without any effort or control through your physical body at this time.
And now take a moment to anchor into the physical experience underneath the sheath of your skin.
This may take some time to get to know the experience.
Give yourself a moment to anchor into the tool of the breathing,
Sensing the wave-like thalassic movement of the breath,
Inhaling and exhaling.
And let the breath take you throughout the body like a guide inside of a space,
Understanding every corner,
Every edge,
And perhaps just acknowledging the tighter,
More tender spots.
And then also relaxing,
Even for a moment,
In the more spacious and open spots within the body.
And now take a moment to acknowledge an issue within the body.
Now this issue means a part of the body that has a sensation,
Maybe heavy.
Perhaps this was avoided.
Perhaps this issue is something that is only cognized at this time.
And so in the next few moments,
Just begin to move your attention closer to this issue.
And if you can,
Feel into this issue.
What does it feel like within your body?
This can be anywhere in the body.
And as this sensation becomes a little more prominent or closer into the periphery of your attention,
Begin to almost personify the issue by giving it a relatable object or image or color.
Usually the first thing that comes to mind is perfect.
This can be anything that your mind associates to this physical feeling in your body.
And now how does the image resonate with this sensation or this issue?
How does this personified image or symbol signify or symbolize this feeling?
Take another few moments here to really inquire and get to know this symbol,
This being,
This image.
And just as though you were facing the symbol as if it were a person or a being,
Take this time now to ask it,
What do you mean?
Now the first response to be it,
What do you symbolize?
And then ask a second question.
What do you need?
What is it that you need?
And then allow for your attention,
Your awareness to receive this message.
You may take a moment now to think this symbol,
This being,
And then allow the sensation to bring you back into the body.
You can let this symbol fade into the background.
And then take a moment to experience the body once again.
Take a moment to really understand the language of the body now.
And then from this space,
You can move along the body,
Track your way into other parts,
Allowing your attention to envelop the whole body once again.
Inhale into your breathing,
The inhale and the surrender of the exhale breath.
And do it again a few more times,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Being so attuned.
Really now allow for your attention to surface into the skin and connect any clothing on top of the skin,
Any props underneath your body.
Give yourself some time here to digest the messages that you have just received.
Thank you so much for joining me.
This is now complete.
