Welcome to In the Flow,

A positivity-provoking podcast designed to lift us up to that higher place to live our best lives.

We will laugh,

Cry,

Meditate,

And discuss any and all things spiritual to learn and remove any stigma surrounding spiritual gifts,

Meditation,

Prayer,

And the afterlife.

My last day or so has been challenging,

Right?

So interestingly,

I'm going through this thing right now where I am,

And today I'm going to talk about raising our vibration,

Right?

But I want to give you the context first,

Right?

So I'm feeling guilty.

I'm not going to get into the whole story.

I'm feeling guilty about something,

Right?

So this guilt thing is overwhelming my being,

Okay?

And when you look at sort of the scale of emotions,

You've got the high emotions of like love and joy and bliss and peace.

All of that is at the high end,

Right?

Then you've got the middle ones,

Which are like boredom and maybe discontent.

And then you start to go into the lower ones,

And that's where kind of guilt comes in and sadness and disease,

And fear and hate and all that kind of stuff,

Right?

You know,

All of that.

So what we need to do if we want to stay in high vibration,

Which I do,

Right?

That's kind of like who I am and what I choose to do is stay in a high vibration.

So when I am in a lower vibration,

Boy,

Do I feel it,

Right?

Oh yes,

Right?

So I try to stay in the upper ones as most lightworkers do,

Right?

Because you really want to stay in that place of high vibration because of the work we do,

Right?

So anyway,

Want to stay in a high vibration.

So how do we get back up there?

How do we get rid of those lower emotions,

Right?

Well,

Here's the thing.

There's things that we can do.

I sort of break this down because that's kind of who I am.

Break it down into a couple of different ways to deal with it,

Okay?

There's the things that you can do when you are kind of already high in that vibration,

But want to stay up there,

Right?

And those things are like dancing,

Right?

Or laugh,

Right?

Those things you can watch a movie that makes you laugh or dance to your favorite song,

You know,

Those types of things,

Right?

And then there are things that you can do when you feel that you are on like the middle or the lower part and you want to really raise your vibration,

Really actually raise it.

And some of those things to do are these.

Do an act of kindness for somebody else,

Right?

Maybe pay it forward or,

You know,

Just like when you're in line at Starbucks,

Pay for the person behind you or whatever,

You know?

Hold the door open for somebody else.

Smile.

I mean,

The simplest thing you can do for somebody else as an act of kindness is smile at somebody else,

Right?

So there's those things,

Right?

When you get more into like the heavier lifting,

Let's just say,

Right?

Meditation.

Meditation,

If you use a mantra or if you do something like that,

It's really fantastic to be able to start to really raise your vibration,

Right?

So meditation,

Big way to do that,

Right?

Taking a walk.

And this accomplishes two things.

You're getting into nature,

You're grounding yourself again,

Right?

But you're also stepping away from where you are like in your mind,

You know?

It's like,

I don't even know why I'm going to say this,

But I used to be in the music industry,

Right?

And the old joke was if you wanted to write a song and you were having like a moment where it's like nothing was working,

Go to the bathroom,

Right?

Go to the bathroom and then you come back and then all of a sudden like everything,

It's basically a pattern interrupt.

I think David G calls it a pattern interrupt,

Right?

So basically what you do is you interrupt your mindset and you change it,

You know?

You just get out of that mindset.

So going for a walk does that,

Right?

So those are the types of things that we can do.

So what do you do?

What works for you?

And that's the thing.

It really is like all of this spiritual work is truly personal.

It's very,

Very personal,

Right?

So I will tell you what happened to me this morning.

So I'm feeling kind of this guilt thing,

Right?

It's not a big dramatic thing.

So don't like make up stories in your head,

Right?

But for me,

It's a thing,

Right?

Okay.

So anyway,

So I have my window open and the birds are singing and everything and I'm meditating and I am asking all my guides,

My mom and my dad and all everybody up there like,

You guys need to help me with this.

Please help me raise my vibration.

Help me with this.

What do I do?

Blah,

Blah,

Blah.

I look out the window and sitting right there and I never see,

I see hummingbirds a lot because we have hummingbird feeders outside.

Look out the window and there are two birds sitting there,

Just sitting there and they're gorgeous.

I don't know what kind of birds they were,

But they were gorgeous.

And all of a sudden I was like,

Oh my God.

Now I don't know if it was my mom and dad because I wasn't kind of tapped into that part,

But all I could think of was,

Oh my gosh,

That's a pattern interrupt for me.

I was like,

Cause I never see birds like that.

They were gorgeous.

I mean,

Not that I don't see,

Not that I see ugly birds or anything like that,

But you know,

One of those kinds of things.

Right?

So I just,

And all of a sudden I felt this peace that was like so beautiful.

It was absolutely beautiful.

I thought there it is.

There's my pattern interrupt.

Right?

So that's the thing.

It starts,

You have to just start yourself,

Find those different things that raise your vibration and you don't have to be in one of the lower vibrations to like really want to raise it.

Right?

It can be one of the higher vibrations.

It could be just,

You know,

I mean it could be jealousy,

It could be shame,

It could be sadness,

It could be guilt,

It could be anything.

It could be fear,

Right?

Anything just start to do things that raise your vibration.

Right?

So that's my story.

And honestly,

That's how we in the world,

In the real world can raise our vibration.

Right?

So,

So we're going to meditate on this because meditation can absolutely raise your vibration.

Right?

Absolutely.

So,

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

All right.

And you can sit or you can,

Whatever feels comfortable for you.

And whenever it feels right,

Go ahead and close your eyes.

And let's take a really good,

Deep cleansing breath.

So breathe in through your nose and release.

Breathing in those good vibes and breathing out the guilt,

The shame,

Whatever.

Right?

Let's do that one more time.

And this time let's focus on breathing in positivity.

Okay?

So breathe in positivity and breathe out shame and sadness,

Whatever that feeling is for you.

Perfect.

And yet another thing to do to raise our vibration.

What are you grateful for today?

What is it that you are absolutely,

Go deep a little bit today.

Let's go deep just a little bit today.

What are you grateful for?

What is it that is really actually pretty darn good in your life that you are grateful for?

Exactly.

That's perfect.

And whatever it is for you is right.

So today's mantra,

And I'm going to play along with this,

Right?

We are going to,

Our mantra today is going to be YAM,

Y-A-M,

YAM.

And it is directly,

It's kind of the mantra for the heart chakra.

Okay?

So YAM.

If you want to,

You know,

Chant along with me,

Absolutely great.

If you don't,

You can hum,

You can do whatever works for you,

Or you can just listen.

It's all the correct thing.

Don't you love that?

It's all the correct thing.

Okay?

So if you lose the mantra,

Or if you stop listening,

Just if you start to have thoughts,

Just go back and concentrate on your breath.

Gently push those thoughts aside and go back and concentrate on your breath.

So here we go.

Breathe in and release.
