Let's take some time now,

Just for you.

No need to think of what you were doing just before this or what you're going to do afterwards.

This time is just for you to relax.

So find a comfortable position,

Whatever that might look like for you,

And let your body fill that space.

That space is going to support you completely.

You can feel comfortable and you are starting to feel relaxed.

These next moments are solely for you.

Your mind might wander.

Know that this is natural and we aren't here to judge it.

If you do notice it slipping away however,

Just nudge your attention back towards the sound of my voice and you will slip into tranquility.

As that feeling of relaxation starts setting in,

Take notice of your breath.

Not trying to change it,

Simply paying attention to it.

Let the outside world fall away.

It's not important right now.

Every inhale you take is calming your mind,

Calming your body.

And every exhale releases any tension.

Releasing the tension,

Relaxing the body,

Relaxing the mind.

Feel the stress flow from you with every exhale,

Releasing it,

Letting it melt away.

Maybe allow your shoulders to drop,

Your hands to fall open,

Your stomach to soften.

Relaxing,

Releasing,

Just slowing down.

It's time to slow down now and to let your body become heavy,

Relaxed and heavy.

Your eyes,

If not already,

Will softly close with your next breath.

You are safe,

You are comfortable,

You are at peace.

Feel your surroundings support you,

They are cradling you,

Holding you up.

Surrender to this.

Every breath soothing you as your relaxation pulls you deeper and deeper.

Shift your attention slowly from your breath up towards the top of your head,

The very top,

The very centre,

And slowly circle down,

Releasing all of those little muscles.

Letting go of any stress,

Any tension that they are holding.

Every breath soothing you more and more,

Smoothing out your forehead,

And knitting the brows.

Releasing,

Relaxing and folding to the calm and blissful feeling flowing through you.

Smooth the muscles around your eyes,

Each breath softening your lips,

Your tongue and unclenching the jaw.

Peace is circling your entire head,

Lulling you deeper and deeper into a blissful,

Relaxed state.

Notice the breath pull more calmness down your neck,

Your throat and spilling into your chest.

Notice how comfortable you feel as that warmth spreads with every breath,

Every inhale,

And every exhale.

Feel it drop your shoulders and flow down your back,

Releasing each muscle there that works to keep you upright all day.

Breathe deeply,

Exhaling all the stress,

All the tension that you've held there,

And inhale to show your body gratitude.

You are being completely supported as you drift deeper and deeper,

Totally,

Completely,

Utterly relaxed.

Gliding towards calm,

Towards tranquility.

You are peaceful,

You are safe,

You are free.

With your next breath,

Feel the warmth of relaxation blossom,

Spreading from your back round into your stomach.

From there,

Feel it wash into your hips,

Washing away any pressure,

Any restlessness or any strain.

Leaving behind a peaceful and light sensation.

Can you bring that sensation into the tops of your legs,

Relaxing your thighs,

Your hamstrings,

Noticing that you feel light floating even further into euphoria.

As the tension leaves you on your next exhale,

Relaxing your knees,

Your shins,

Your calves.

Feel the tension fall away from your ankles and finally your feet.

Your entire body is deeply relaxed.

You are safe,

Supported by the world around you.

I'm going to give you a moment to enjoy this deep and blissful sense of relaxation on your own.

Whenever you are ready,

Start to notice your breathing again.

With every inhale,

You will start feeling more aware,

Whilst keeping the relaxed and carefree energy that we have created together.

I'm going to count from one to five,

And when I reach five,

You will feel completely refreshed.

Remember,

We are in no rush,

This is your time.

One,

Feel your breath become lighter and the pace start to shift.

Two,

Notice the noises around you as they start coming into attention.

Three,

Maybe wiggle your fingers or your toes,

You're feeling fresh and relaxed.

Four,

Take a final inhale in,

And five,

Exhale,

Blinking open your eyes if you haven't already.

Welcome back,

Take as much time as you need to notice how you feel before moving back into your day.

Thank you so much for choosing to practice with me.
