The wild journey our body experiences in relation to the weather and the world's happenings. Take the time to settle in, allow the clouds to pass, the wind to howl, the rain to pound, and breathe. Settle in a time of chaos.

Thank you for joining me today.

I'm going to ask that you please find a comfortable,

Warm,

Cozy space where you won't be disturbed.

Maybe you'd like to lie down or just recline in a chair.

The wind is once again raging,

The rain is pounding.

It is hard to find reprieve in the surrounding chaos.

I have once again awoken with abounding energy,

An energy that feels untethered.

I feel that it is my helplessness and what's happening in the world right now.

I feel like Mother Nature is asking us for a reprieve,

To spare her,

To spare ourselves,

To get out of our own way,

To make a shift and recreate who we are.

This body that we have walked into,

This body,

Mind,

And soul,

We can change anything about at any time.

We need courage.

We need strength.

And we need fire.

But all of these things,

My love,

Already exist inside of our blooming souls.

When you are given a moment to step into or out of the perception of your life,

You're being asked,

Being propelled,

Make a shift.

When you feel discomfort in your mind,

Quiet everything around you and listen to your innermost voice.

When your throat is constricted,

You feel the pulsing vibration,

Speak.

Speak to what is true for you.

When your chest feels tight and it feels like it's caving in on you,

Pulling your shoulders forward,

Raise your head,

Raise your arms,

Spread them wide and receive the energy that is being thrust your way.

Don't close yourself down.

Don't deny the gifts that are coming especially for you.

Receive them with open arms.

When your heart is raging,

Racing,

Pounding,

Running wild,

Sit with it.

Connect to what these messages are.

Use this energy to grow your heart inside of you.

Let it lead you on your journey.

Don't let this fear of the unknown strength inside of you stop you.

Don't let it shut you down.

Walk bravely forward,

Ready to accept whatever beauty appears.

When your stomach feels rigid,

Your ribs just won't move.

Every breath,

It stops abruptly.

Stop controlling.

Allow.

Surrender.

Give way.

Give way to this storehouse of will.

Use this control to keep you moving one step at a time,

Gliding gracefully into the darkness.

Usually this darkness will give rise to the most beautiful sunrise,

An illumination,

A point of no return.

You cannot unexperience this movement of energy,

But you can choose how to use it.

This energy can uproot trees.

It can move mountains.

It can create a tsunami.

It can also connect you to your greatest love.

So use it wisely.

Use it often.

Use it to propel you forward.

But please,

My love,

Just use it.

So I'm going to ask you now to focus on your breath,

The in and the outflow.

Maybe doing a quick body scan.

Just a really quick one,

Just to give yourself a sense of your own presence.

And allow anything that pops up to be released.

So when you've found a comfortable space to melt into,

I want you just to focus on your breath.

I'm going to ask you to close your eyes here.

Trust that you are safe.

You are secure.

And it's okay to take this time right now for you.

By keeping your eyes closed,

It allows you to go inward and release what's happening in your external environment.

And I want you to just notice the weight of your body on whatever surface you're finding yourself on.

Your body intact,

Gently grinding into the earth.

Hearing any sounds surrounding you,

And just noticing but letting them go.

So starting with the base of your feet,

The bottoms of your feet.

Want you to just pay attention to any tingling sensation that's here.

Maybe a difference in temperature.

Maybe your feet are cold or hot.

And maybe you'll notice that when you take deeper breaths and there's more exchange of oxygen in your body,

Your feet feel alive.

They feel as though they're vibrating.

You're breathing new life into the points of your body that ground you.

And slowly winding up your lower legs,

Allowing that vibration to slowly meander upward to your knees.

Unwind your kneecaps.

Allow them to unravel.

Encouraging them for your next long journey.

Allowing them to have time to rest here.

Lengthen your hamstrings.

Allow them to soften.

And lengthen with each breath.

And maybe you notice the front of your thighs with every exhale.

They lose some of their rigidity,

Some of their need to engage.

Allow your hips to sink into your chair or onto your mat.

Maybe giving yourself a little micro movement through your sacrum,

Through your glutes,

To allow your hips to sink down and soften even more.

And place your hands on your lower belly,

Close to your pubic bone.

I want to focus on the chakra for a minute.

This is your root chakra.

And with so much happening in the world right now,

This area of our body tends to be confused unless we are giving it the time to settle through meditation,

Breath,

Yoga,

Tree napping.

And it might feel overwhelming just to have your hands here.

But just allow them to soften.

Releasing any expectations of an uprising.

Just allow this moment to be what it is.

Your root chakra is a place of security,

A grounding to the earth.

This is where we also receive energy from the earth.

And right now we are in an incredibly protective place,

Not only in our own bodies,

Our own homes,

But the entire world right now.

But the simple act of placing your hands on your lower belly and bringing awareness and breathing can allow you to soften into this moment and feel more grounded.

And remembering your breath,

Gentle in and outs,

Allowing them to sink as deeply as they're ready to go.

And now moving your hand up to your sacral plexus,

Maybe just one hand,

Placing it just above where you just had your hands on your cubic bone.

This too is a grounding chakra.

Following connection and love and security and fearlessness.

And I want you to slowly slide your hands up your belly,

Over your belly button.

And placing one,

Maybe both hands over your solar plexus.

This is a very masculine energy.

It's a place where we hold a lot of control,

A lot of rigidity.

This is our place of will.

This is the area that forces us to keep moving one foot in front of the other,

Stepping forward.

And this area sits between our groundedness and our heart.

So it almost acts as a tipping point.

So the solar plexus is extremely important to allow for that movement,

Allow for the mobility.

It might be hard to breathe beyond here right now,

But just take notice of where the sensation is underneath your hands.

There might be a slight stomach upset.

And it might be if you notice any increase in energy or an anxiety type sensation,

That this is where you feel it.

This is the battle of the will.

This area seizes up when we are trying to control something,

But we are actually out of control.

And right now the only thing that we can control is our thoughts and our breath.

So allowing that to be all that you need to focus on can connect your heart to your groundedness,

To the earth in this simple act of breathing.

When you're ready,

Bring your left hand over your heart.

This might create a sense of great calmness,

A sense of nurturing.

It may also bring up an unsettledness within you.

It's okay to feel the vulnerability right now,

Allowing whatever comes to come and just letting it move through your breath.

Any surge of emotion,

Maybe an old story that is unresolved,

Or maybe a moment of deep gratitude.

And in the spirit of gratitude,

I want you to take this with you.

Gratitude indicates that something has already happened.

It's a moment that we feel gratefulness,

And we are able to connect to that moment with our hearts and our thoughts.

So it might be helpful right now to know that those moments will happen again and again,

And right now they might be really small moments,

But being able to tap into the gratefulness,

The gratitude,

The self-nurturing,

The quiet moments,

The calmness that you alone can create for yourself,

Being able to tap into that will allow you to wake up with a renewed heart tomorrow.

So I want you to take as much time as you need here to breathe,

Continue to unwind,

Continue to rest,

And just allow the thoughts that are coming to you to come and go like clouds blowing in the breeze.

Just continue to focus on your breath.

Thank you so much for joining me today.
