Guided softening practice. This one helps me through anxiety to be more in touch with myself my strength and needs for the day. Also pretty soothing and alleviating stress. Has some guided somatic color light practice as a visual metaphor for sensation and experience, best practiced laying down but also a great morning seated mediation. Let me know how it feels to you! 👊🏻

Lay down into the ground.

Let your body arrive in the space and then begin to tense your feet,

Your toes,

Your legs.

Tense your belly,

Your bum,

Your back.

Tense your whole body,

Your arms,

Your fists,

Your neck,

Your eyes.

Tense the whole body and hold and then release and let it go melting heavy into the ground.

Releasing your weight into the ground and the space and the moment.

Feel your soft,

Sweet,

Slow breaths,

Relaxing the body from the inside.

Just gently feel your natural breath soothing,

Releasing into the space,

Calming,

Melting heavy.

Bring your attention to your jaw.

Imagine it melting and releasing,

Relaxing.

Tell it it's okay.

You're okay.

Delicately bring your presence to your throat.

See what sensations you feel in your throat.

Accept them,

Offer them with love.

Letting your shoulders release if they can.

Letting them fall heavy and melting gently into the space.

Sinking and releasing the back,

Releasing the belly.

Imagining now you're laying by a stream protected in a safe quiet woods.

You can hear the stream tinkling gently on your side.

It's warm and comfortable with fresh,

Safe,

Beautiful woodsy air.

You can allow yourself to gently float in and out of relaxation,

In and out with the breath,

In and out of a conscious state.

Just allowing yourself to float in relaxation.

Now I want you to imagine a color at your center,

The center of your body a color.

It's okay if it shifts,

Changes,

Or nothing occurs.

Just sit until you do feel a color at the center of your body.

Does it have a shape?

Does it glow?

Is it strong or light?

Does the color have a feeling inside of it?

Relax and fall deeper into the sensation of the color,

Sensing it as it morphs or changes.

Ask the color,

What does the color need?

What does the color need?

What is it thirsty for or craving?

What is it needing?

Relaxing deeper into the sensation,

The soothing,

Allowing the soothing state in your body to grow by focusing on the sensation of feeling relaxed.

Now I want you to feel a new pure glowing light at your head.

It's pouring into you a healing soft sweet light,

Filling your whole body,

Lighting in healing softening areas that need attention.

It's gently filling you from head,

Throat,

Chest,

Belly,

To toes,

Inhabiting every area and lighting it up,

Staying glowing in areas that need more attention.

Feel those areas in you.

Feel those areas releasing and being seen and glowing with extra attention and love.

Feel your body glowing now,

Vibrating,

Spinning healing light at the center.

Feel the pulsating growing all around you.

Feel the glow vibrating,

Growing into the room.

Good.

Now gently bring your attention to your feet,

To the heels of your feet,

To the weight of the heels of your feet on the ground.

Feel the backs of your legs and your back and your pelvic bowl gently making contact with these areas bringing your attention back slowly,

Gently into the body and into the room.

I invite you to put one hand on your heart and one on your belly as we begin to close in this moment with your hand on your heart and your hand on your belly giving yourself some loving touch and containment to feel the things you felt in the meditation.

Are there any sweet messages that you want to keep by acknowledging now?

Good.

And when you're ready,

As slow as you need to,

You could begin to wiggle your toes and feel a smile on your body,

Feel a smile on your face.

You are okay,

You're enough.

And gently bring yourself back into your body and back into the room and remind yourself what good work you're doing.

Thank you.
