Welcome to this meditation.
Sit or lie comfortably in a private place.
Let's start by taking a deep breath in through the nose,
Into the belly.
Expanding your whole body.
And exhale it out with a sigh.
Bring awareness to your breath.
As you change or shift your relationship to it.
Rather than forcing it into your lungs,
Just allow it,
Invite it.
Feel how gentle.
How perfectly it comes in.
And how calming it comes out.
Like the ocean.
Place your hands by your side,
However you may be sitting or lying.
Place them up to receive.
If you'd like to receive some peace,
Some love,
Some clarity.
Or if you feel like you want to ground today.
Place your hands down,
Your palms facing the earth.
And with every exhale,
Just imagine everything not serving you.
Going through your hands into the earth.
And being recycled and renewed.
She can take all of your burdens.
Close your eyes now sweet one.
Continue to breathe.
Notice if any of your muscles are tight.
If your forehead is strained.
Or if you're having thoughts of whether you're doing this right.
There is no right way.
You see the point of meditation is not to clear your head.
But rather to bring awareness to what's happening in there.
To understand that you are not your thoughts.
You are not that stream of consciousness.
You're the observer of it.
I'm going to lead you through a process in a moment.
Where you'll get to speak to your higher self.
Stay open.
Don't judge what comes through.
Just observe it.
And take a deep breath in.
And exhale all the way out.
I want you to imagine that another you is sitting right in front of you right now.
Looking into your eyes.
Maybe this is the first time you've really looked at yourself without judgment in a long,
Long time.
And this person would like to speak to you.
I'll play the voice of your higher self for a moment.
And I'd like for you to respond out loud.
Hey.
Hi.
Listen,
I know we haven't talked to each other in a while.
At least not like this.
I'm not here to criticize you.
I hope you know that.
That voice isn't mine.
You're safe with me.
So,
How are you?
Something's been on your mind,
Hasn't it?
Would you like to talk it out?
Continue your dialogue now.
Take the time to say everything from both sides out loud.
It allows you to process slower,
More precise.
If your thoughts come up,
Your ugly thoughts,
Tell her or him.
You see,
They already know anyway and can take them away when you become willing.
If you need to tell them that you can hardly speak,
For the darkness has coiled itself so tightly around your chest,
That's okay.
They understand.
If you need to tell her how angry you are with her,
That's okay too.
She can take it,
I promise.
Go ahead now.
Don't hold back.
I'm not here to criticize you.
I'm here to tell you.
Hmm.
Ah.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Start to come back into your body now,
Bringing awareness back into your breath.
Into your hands,
Your feet,
Your face.
Bring your hands to your heart.
Feel the love for yourself grow and enter into your hands.
Now wrap your arms around yourself tightly.
Maybe gently brushing the skin on your arms.
And hold yourself for a moment,
Thanking yourself for showing up for you today.
Breathing.
When you're ready,
Sit up,
Take your time.
And know that you are available anytime.
Anytime you might need advice.
This person is the wisest person that you know.
They're always with you.
For they are you.
You may choose to journal anything that came through during this exercise.
To help integrate it into your everyday life.
Whatever you choose,
Go into this new day with gratitude.
And knowing this that you are not alone.
Drink lots of water.
Take care of yourself.
Thank you so much for spending this time with me today.
Namaste.
