Ten Days Of Stoic Journaling - For Women

With Stephanie Poppins - The Female Stoic

In this ten-day Stoic journaling course, we will consider the relevance of Stoicism in our lives and be inspired by female Stoics from history. This course aims to deepen our understanding of what is really happening in our inner world by addressing some of the challenges we face every day as women, from a Stoic point of view. Each lesson addresses coping mechanisms for everyday challenges and inspires us to take notes on how we can adopt stoicism into our lives. Over the duration of the course, we will come to understand the relevance of a Stoic approach when embarking on the protection of our inner peace, and use this set of empowering tools to help us navigate challenging encounters. As we come to adopt this method and follow the journey from commitment to self-discovery, we will come to appreciate how our journal can be used as a tool for transformation. This journaling course is a way to adopt healthy daily habits in the quest for our higher selves. The better we know ourselves, the better equipped we will be to turn challenges into opportunities, whilst discovering our inner value system and developing iron-clad virtues that we will protect at all costs. If you are ready to embark on a consistent journaling habit, spend time in self-reflection, and learn more about how Stoicism can benefit your life, this course is for you. Whether you already journal or wish to try it for the first time, you are welcome to join this empowering project.

Stoics encourage mentally rehearsing the loss of things they value to understand their importance and appreciate them more while they have them. In this lesson, we will look at what we are focusing on and compare that with the gifts we have in our lives. This helps us understand the significance of where we place our focus and appreciate the small things.

Great course. I loved the spin on this associated with the classic novels as each one of us is a classic in ourselves. Thank you for the wisdom you have bestowed.

This course allowed me to reflect on many aspects of my life I may not think about regularly. When you actually put the words on paper and reread them it has a greater impact. Thank you!

Another wonderful course, thank you so much for sharing it with us! I have found it inspiring to consider how I can use my journal to get to know myself better, to see it as a tool to guide me rather than just a place to dump my thoughts! And I've really benefitted from your gentle suggestions of what to consider writing in my journal, this has really stretched my thinking, for which I am grateful. I liked the prompt at the start of each lesson/journalling session to relax too, as I usually just grab my pen & write, but I've found that relaxing & calming first makes me consider more what I am writing & what I can gain from it. And I also valued the tip of having a dedicated time & space for journalling, rather than my usual practice of just squeezing it inbetween chores or right at the end of the day when I am tired & not in my best frame of mind, I again really see a difference in what I write when I have a dedicated time & space to do it in. The listing of five things was also really useful. And I loved the references to Anne of Green Gables as I find this such an inspirational book, & to Jane Eyre, & Pride & Prejudice. As you always say, Literature Is Therapy! Thank you for this course, & I look forward to your next one.
