The Permission Is Yours

With Amy DiSanto

How often do you already know what you need but still second-guess it? We spend so much of our lives listening, learning, adapting, caring, helping, and taking in the wisdom and expectations around us. We listen to people we love. We listen to experts. We listen to what has worked for others. We listen to what we think we should do. And sometimes, underneath all of that input, our own voice gets a little harder to hear. Maybe you keep pushing when you’re tired. Maybe you say yes when something in you wants to pause. Maybe you know what you want, but keep looking for reassurance. Maybe you’re moving through a change and aren’t sure what feels true anymore. The Permission Is Yours is an invitation to come back to yourself. Through guided meditative rest, breath, awareness, and simple teachings, you’ll explore what happens when you slow down enough to notice what is already here. You’ll practice arriving, feeling, releasing, receiving, and simply being. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to listen inward, notice what you need, and explore the difference between what you’ve been taught, what others believe, and what feels true for you. This isn’t about ignoring other people or having all the answers. It’s about developing a relationship with your own experience so you can listen, discern, and choose with greater trust. We’ll practice less fixing, less proving, and less figuring everything out. And more noticing, listening, and being here. You can lie down, sit, move, keep your eyes open, or simply listen while you go about your day. Take what feels useful and leave what doesn’t. There’s no catching up and no falling behind. Just returning. You’ll also have opportunities to share what you’re noticing and connect with others who are practicing alongside you. You don’t have to become a different person. You don’t have to figure everything out. You can simply begin by making space to hear yourself. What do I notice? What do I need? What feels true for me? The answers may change. You may change. That’s part of being human. Come as you are. Listen in. Take what supports you. Leave what doesn’t. The permission is yours.
